< أَسْتِير 10 >
وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمَلِكُ أَحَشْوِيرُوشُ جِزْيَةً عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَزَائِرِ ٱلْبَحْرِ. | ١ 1 |
And he put the king (Ahasuerus *Q(K)*) a tax on the land and [the] islands of the sea.
وَكُلُّ عَمَلِ سُلْطَانِهِ وَجَبَرُوتِهِ وَإِذَاعَةُ عَظَمَةِ مُرْدَخَايَ ٱلَّذِي عَظَّمَهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ، أَمَا هِيَ مَكْتُوبَةٌ فِي سِفْرِ أَخْبَارِ ٱلْأَيَّامِ لِمُلُوكِ مَادِي وَفَارِسَ؟ | ٢ 2 |
And all [the] achievement of power his and might his and [the] full account of [the] greatness of Mordecai whom he had made great him the king ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] words of the days of [the] kings of Media and Persia.
لِأَنَّ مُرْدَخَايَ ٱلْيَهُودِيَّ كَانَ ثَانِيَ ٱلْمَلِكِ أَحَشْوِيرُوشَ، وَعَظِيمًا بَيْنَ ٱلْيَهُودِ، وَمَقْبُولًا عِنْدَ كَثْرَةِ إِخْوَتِهِ، طَالِبًا ٱلْخَيْرَ لِشَعْبِهِ وَمُتَكَلِّمًا بِٱلسَّلَامِ لِكُلِّ نَسْلِهِ. | ٣ 3 |
For - Mordecai the Jew [was] second to the king Ahasuerus and [was] great to the Jews and was acceptable to [the] multitude of brothers his seeking good for people his and speaking peace to all offspring his.
