عَامُوس 1
| أَقْوَالُ عَامُوسَ ٱلَّذِي كَانَ بَيْنَ ٱلرُّعَاةِ مِنْ تَقُوعَ ٱلَّتِي رَآهَا عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، فِي أَيَّامِ عُزِّيَّا مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، وَفِي أَيَّامِ يَرُبْعَامَ بْنِ يُوآشَ مَلِكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، قَبْلَ ٱلزَّلْزَلَةِ بِسَنَتَيْنِ. | ١ 1 |

| هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «مِنْ أَجْلِ ذُنُوبِ دِمَشْقَ ٱلثَّلَاثَةِ وَٱلْأَرْبَعَةِ لَا أَرْجِعُ عَنْهُ، لِأَنَّهُمْ دَاسُوا جِلْعَادَ بِنَوَارِجَ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ. | ٣ 3 |

| وَأُكَسِّرُ مِغْلَاقَ دِمَشْقَ، وَأَقْطَعُ ٱلسَّاكِنَ مِنْ بُقْعَةِ آوَنَ، وَمَاسِكَ ٱلْقَضِيبِ مِنْ بَيْتِ عَدْنٍ، وَيُسْبَى شَعْبُ أَرَامَ إِلَى قِيرَ، قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ». | ٥ 5 |

| هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «مِنْ أَجْلِ ذُنُوبِ أَدُومَ ٱلثَّلَاثَةِ وَٱلْأَرْبَعَةِ لَا أَرْجِعُ، لِأَنَّهُ تَبِعَ بِٱلسَّيْفِ أَخَاهُ، وَأَفْسَدَ مَرَاحِمَهُ، وَغضَبُهُ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ يَفْتَرِسُ، وَسَخَطُهُ يَحْفَظُهُ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ. | ١١ 11 |

| هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «مِنْ أَجْلِ ذُنُوبِ بَنِي عَمُّونَ ٱلثَّلَاثَةِ وَٱلْأَرْبَعَةِ لَا أَرْجِعُ عَنْهُ، لِأَنَّهُمْ شَقُّوا حَوَامِلَ جِلْعَادَ لِكَيْ يُوَسِّعُوا تُخُومَهُمْ. | ١٣ 13 |
