٢ تيموثاوس 1

١ 1 بُولُسُ، رَسُولُ يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ بِمَشِيئَةِ ٱللهِ، لِأَجْلِ وَعْدِ ٱلْحَيَاةِ ٱلَّتِي فِي يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ.

PAULOS, an apostle of Jeshu Meshiha by the will of Aloha, and on account of the promise of life which is in Jeshu Meshiha,

٢ 2 إِلَى تِيمُوثَاوُسَ ٱلِٱبْنِ ٱلْحَبِيبِ: نِعْمَةٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَسَلَامٌ مِنَ ٱللهِ ٱلْآبِ وَٱلْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ رَبِّنَا.

to Timotheos my beloved son: grace and mercies and peace from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.

٣ 3 إِنِّي أَشْكُرُ ٱللهَ ٱلَّذِي أَعْبُدُهُ مِنْ أَجْدَادِي بِضَمِيرٍ طَاهِرٍ، كَمَا أَذْكُرُكَ بِلَا ٱنْقِطَاعٍ فِي طِلْبَاتِي لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا،

I thank Aloha, whom I serve from my fathers with a pure conscience, that constantly I remember thee in my prayers of the night and of the day;

٤ 4 مُشْتَاقًا أَنْ أَرَاكَ، ذَاكِرًا دُمُوعَكَ لِكَيْ أَمْتَلِئَ فَرَحًا،

and have longed to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy:

٥ 5 إِذْ أَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِيمَانَ ٱلْعَدِيمَ ٱلرِّيَاءِ ٱلَّذِي فِيكَ، ٱلَّذِي سَكَنَ أَوَّلًا فِي جَدَّتِكَ لَوْئِيسَ وَأُمِّكَ أَفْنِيكِي، وَلَكِنِّي مُوقِنٌ أَنَّهُ فِيكَ أَيْضًا.

in remembrance of thee (and) of thy true faith which dwelt first in the mother of thy mother Lois, and in thy mother Eunika, and which, I am persuaded, (is) in thee also.

٦ 6 فَلِهَذَا ٱلسَّبَبِ أُذَكِّرُكَ أَنْ تُضْرِمَ أَيْضًا مَوْهِبَةَ ٱللهِ ٱلَّتِي فِيكَ بِوَضْعِ يَدَيَّ،

On account of this I put thee in mind to keep awake the gift of Aloha, which is in thee by the laying on of my hands.

٧ 7 لِأَنَّ ٱللهَ لَمْ يُعْطِنَا رُوحَ ٱلْفَشَلِ، بَلْ رُوحَ ٱلْقُوَّةِ وَٱلْمَحَبَّةِ وَٱلنُّصْحِ.

For Aloha hath not given to us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of discipline.

٨ 8 فَلَا تَخْجَلْ بِشَهَادَةِ رَبِّنَا، وَلَا بِي أَنَا أَسِيرَهُ، بَلِ ٱشْتَرِكْ فِي ٱحْتِمَالِ ٱلْمَشَقَّاتِ لِأَجْلِ ٱلْإِنْجِيلِ بِحَسَبِ قُوَّةِ ٱللهِ،

Wherefore be not thou ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but sustain evil with the gospel, through the power of Aloha,

٩ 9 ٱلَّذِي خَلَّصَنَا وَدَعَانَا دَعْوَةً مُقَدَّسَةً، لَا بِمُقْتَضَى أَعْمَالِنَا، بَلْ بِمُقْتَضَى ٱلْقَصْدِ وَٱلنِّعْمَةِ ٱلَّتِي أُعْطِيَتْ لَنَا فِي ٱلْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ قَبْلَ ٱلْأَزْمِنَةِ ٱلْأَزَلِيَّةِ، (aiōnios g166)

who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling; not according to our works, but according to his will, and that grace of his which was given to us in Jeshu Meshiha before the time of the worlds, (aiōnios g166)

١٠ 10 وَإِنَّمَا أُظْهِرَتِ ٱلْآنَ بِظُهُورِ مُخَلِّصِنَا يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ، ٱلَّذِي أَبْطَلَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَأَنَارَ ٱلْحَيَاةَ وَٱلْخُلُودَ بِوَاسِطَةِ ٱلْإِنْجِيلِ.

and is now revealed by the revelation of our Saviour Jeshu Meshiha, who hath abolished death, and hath demonstrated life and incorruption, through the gospel,

١١ 11 ٱلَّذِي جُعِلْتُ أَنَا لَهُ كَارِزًا وَرَسُولًا وَمُعَلِّمًا لِلْأُمَمِ.

of which I am appointed an herald and an apostle and a teacher of the nations:

١٢ 12 لِهَذَا ٱلسَّبَبِ أَحْتَمِلُ هَذِهِ ٱلْأُمُورَ أَيْضًا. لَكِنَّنِي لَسْتُ أَخْجَلُ، لِأَنَّنِي عَالِمٌ بِمَنْ آمَنْتُ، وَمُوقِنٌ أَنَّهُ قَادِرٌ أَنْ يَحْفَظَ وَدِيعَتِي إِلَى ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ.

on account of which I suffer these, and am not ashamed. I know in whom I have believed, and am persuaded that there is power in his hands my deposite to keep for me unto that day.

١٣ 13 تَمَسَّكْ بِصُورَةِ ٱلْكَلَامِ ٱلصَّحِيحِ ٱلَّذِي سَمِعْتَهُ مِنِّي، فِي ٱلْإِيمَانِ وَٱلْمَحَبَّةِ ٱلَّتِي فِي ٱلْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ.

Let the outline of sound words be with thee, which thou hast heard from me, with the faith and love which are in Jeshu Meshiha:

١٤ 14 اِحْفَظِ ٱلْوَدِيعَةَ ٱلصَّالِحَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ ٱلسَّاكِنِ فِينَا.

that good deposite keep through the Spirit of Holiness who dwelleth in us.

١٥ 15 أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ هَذَا أَنَّ جَمِيعَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي أَسِيَّا ٱرْتَدُّوا عَنِّي، ٱلَّذِينَ مِنْهُمْ فِيجَلُّسُ وَهَرْمُوجَانِسُ.

Know this, that all those of Asia are turned from me, of whom are Phygellos and Harmogenes.

١٦ 16 لِيُعْطِ ٱلرَّبُّ رَحْمَةً لِبَيْتِ أُنِيسِيفُورُسَ، لِأَنَّهُ مِرَارًا كَثِيرَةً أَرَاحَنِي وَلَمْ يَخْجَلْ بِسِلْسِلَتِي،

Our Lord give mercies to the house of Onesiphoros, who many times hath refreshed me, and of the chains of my bonds hath not been ashamed.

١٧ 17 بَلْ لَمَّا كَانَ فِي رُومِيَةَ، طَلَبَنِي بِأَوْفَرِ ٱجْتِهَادٍ فَوَجَدَنِي.

But when also he came to Ruma, with diligence he sought me, and found me.

١٨ 18 لِيُعْطِهِ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ يَجِدَ رَحْمَةً مِنَ ٱلرَّبِّ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ. وَكُلُّ مَا كَانَ يَخْدِمُ فِي أَفَسُسَ أَنْتَ تَعْرِفُهُ جَيِّدًا.

Our Lord grant that he may find mercies with our Lord in that day: and how he ministered to me in Ephesos thou especially knowest.
