٢ تيموثاوس 4

١ 1 أَنَا أُنَاشِدُكَ إِذًا أَمَامَ ٱللهِ وَٱلرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ، ٱلْعَتِيدِ أَنْ يَدِينَ ٱلْأَحْيَاءَ وَٱلْأَمْوَاتَ، عِنْدَ ظُهُورِهِ وَمَلَكُوتِهِ:

In the presence of God, and Jesus Christ, the one about to judge the living and the dead, I testify to, both his appearing and his kingdom;

٢ 2 ٱكْرِزْ بِٱلْكَلِمَةِ. ٱعْكُفْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فِي وَقْتٍ مُنَاسِبٍ وَغَيْرِ مُنَاسِبٍ. وَبِّخِ، ٱنْتَهِرْ، عِظْ بِكُلِّ أَنَاةٍ وَتَعْلِيمٍ.

preach the word: be instant in season and out of season; convict, exhort, rebuke, with all longsuffering and teaching.

٣ 3 لِأَنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ وَقْتٌ لَا يَحْتَمِلُونَ فِيهِ ٱلتَّعْلِيمَ ٱلصَّحِيحَ، بَلْ حَسَبَ شَهَوَاتِهِمُ ٱلْخَاصَّةِ يَجْمَعُونَ لَهُمْ مُعَلِّمِينَ مُسْتَحِكَّةً مَسَامِعُهُمْ،

For the time will come when they will not endure healthy teaching; but according to their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers itching as to their hearing;

٤ 4 فَيَصْرِفُونَ مَسَامِعَهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْحَقِّ، وَيَنْحَرِفُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخُرَافَاتِ.

and they will indeed turn their hearing from the truth, and be turned unto fables.

٥ 5 وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ فَٱصْحُ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ. ٱحْتَمِلِ ٱلْمَشَقَّاتِ. ٱعْمَلْ عَمَلَ ٱلْمُبَشِّرِ. تَمِّمْ خِدْمَتَكَ.

But be thou sober in all things, suffer affliction, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

٦ 6 فَإِنِّي أَنَا ٱلْآنَ أُسْكَبُ سَكِيبًا، وَوَقْتُ ٱنْحِلَالِي قَدْ حَضَرَ.

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

٧ 7 قَدْ جَاهَدْتُ ٱلْجِهَادَ ٱلْحَسَنَ، أَكْمَلْتُ ٱلسَّعْيَ، حَفِظْتُ ٱلْإِيمَانَ،

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

٨ 8 وَأَخِيرًا قَدْ وُضِعَ لِي إِكْلِيلُ ٱلْبِرِّ، ٱلَّذِي يَهَبُهُ لِي فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ، ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلدَّيَّانُ ٱلْعَادِلُ، وَلَيْسَ لِي فَقَطْ، بَلْ لِجَمِيعِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ ظُهُورَهُ أَيْضًا.

finally there is a crown of righteousness laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: not only to me, but to all those who with divine love, do love his appearing.

٩ 9 بَادِرْ أَنْ تَجِيءَ إِلَيَّ سَرِيعًا،

Hasten to come to me quickly.

١٠ 10 لِأَنَّ دِيمَاسَ قَدْ تَرَكَنِي إِذْ أَحَبَّ ٱلْعَالَمَ ٱلْحَاضِرَ وَذَهَبَ إِلَى تَسَالُونِيكِي، وَكِرِيسْكِيسَ إِلَى غَلَاطِيَّةَ، وَتِيطُسَ إِلَى دَلْمَاطِيَّةَ. (aiōn g165)

For Demas has left me, having loved the present age, and is gone into Thessalonica; Crescents into Galatia, Titus into Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)

١١ 11 لُوقَا وَحْدَهُ مَعِي. خُذْ مَرْقُسَ وَأَحْضِرْهُ مَعَكَ لِأَنَّهُ نَافِعٌ لِي لِلْخِدْمَةِ.

Luke alone is with me. Having taken Mark, bring him with you: for he is useful unto me for the ministry.

١٢ 12 أَمَّا تِيخِيكُسُ فَقَدْ أَرْسَلْتُهُ إِلَى أَفَسُسَ.

But I sent Tychicus into Ephesus.

١٣ 13 اَلرِّدَاءَ ٱلَّذِي تَرَكْتُهُ فِي تَرُواسَ عِنْدَ كَارْبُسَ، أَحْضِرْهُ مَتَى جِئْتَ، وَٱلْكُتُبَ أَيْضًا وَلَا سِيَّمَا ٱلرُّقُوقَ.

Coming, bring the cloak, which I left in Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.

١٤ 14 إِسْكَنْدَرُ ٱلنَّحَّاسُ أَظْهَرَ لِي شُرُورًا كَثِيرَةً. لِيُجَازِهِ ٱلرَّبُّ حَسَبَ أَعْمَالِهِ.

Alexander the coppersmith showed to me much evil: the Lord will reward him according to his works.

١٥ 15 فَٱحْتَفِظْ مِنْهُ أَنْتَ أَيْضًا، لِأَنَّهُ قَاوَمَ أَقْوَالَنَا جِدًّا.

Whom you also watch for he resisted our words exceedingly.

١٦ 16 فِي ٱحْتِجَاجِي ٱلْأَوَّلِ لَمْ يَحْضُرْ أَحَدٌ مَعِي، بَلِ ٱلْجَمِيعُ تَرَكُونِي. لَا يُحْسَبْ عَلَيْهِمْ.

In my first defence no one stood by me, but all left me: may it not be charged against them:

١٧ 17 وَلَكِنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ وَقَفَ مَعِي وَقَوَّانِي، لِكَيْ تُتَمَّ بِي ٱلْكِرَازَةُ، وَيَسْمَعَ جَمِيعُ ٱلْأُمَمِ، فَأُنْقِذْتُ مِنْ فَمِ ٱلْأَسَدِ.

but the Lord stood by me, and impowered me; in order that the preaching through me might be fulfilled, and all the Gentiles hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

١٨ 18 وَسَيُنْقِذُنِي ٱلرَّبُّ مِنْ كُلِّ عَمَلٍ رَدِيءٍ وَيُخَلِّصُنِي لِمَلَكُوتِهِ ٱلسَّمَاوِيِّ. ٱلَّذِي لَهُ ٱلْمَجْدُ إِلَى دَهْرِ ٱلدُّهُورِ. آمِينَ. (aiōn g165)

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and save me into his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)

١٩ 19 سَلِّمْ عَلَى فِرِسْكَا وَأَكِيلَا وَبَيْتِ أُنِيسِيفُورُسَ.

Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.

٢٠ 20 أَرَاسْتُسُ بَقِيَ فِي كُورِنْثُوسَ. وَأَمَّا تُرُوفِيمُسُ فَتَرَكْتُهُ فِي مِيلِيتُسَ مَرِيضًا.

Erastus remained in Corinth: and I left Trophimus in Miletum sick.

٢١ 21 بَادِرْ أَنْ تَجِيءَ قَبْلَ ٱلشِّتَاءِ. يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكَ أَفْبُولُسُ وَبُودِيسُ وَلِينُسُ وَكَلَافِدِيَّةُ وَٱلْإِخْوَةُ جَمِيعًا.

Hasten to come before winter. Eubulus and Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brothers salute you.

٢٢ 22 اَلرَّبُّ يَسُوعُ ٱلْمَسِيحُ مَعَ رُوحِكَ. اَلنِّعْمَةُ مَعَكُمْ. آمِينَ.

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.
