٢ أخبار 28

١ 1 كَانَ آحَازُ ٱبْنَ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً حِينَ مَلَكَ، وَمَلَكَ سِتَّ عَشَرَةَ سَنَةً فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَلَمْ يَفْعَلِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ فِي عَيْنَيِ ٱلرَّبِّ كَدَاوُدَ أَبِيهِ،

[was] a son of Twenty year[s] Ahaz when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and not he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh like David ancestor his.

٢ 2 بَلْ سَارَ فِي طُرُقِ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَعَمِلَ أَيْضًا تَمَاثِيلَ مَسْبُوكَةً لِلْبَعْلِيمِ.

And he walked in [the] ways of [the] kings of Israel and also molten images he made for the Baals.

٣ 3 وَهُوَ أَوْقَدَ فِي وَادِي ٱبْنِ هِنُّومَ وَأَحْرَقَ بَنِيهِ بِٱلنَّارِ حَسَبَ رَجَاسَاتِ ٱلْأُمَمِ ٱلَّذِينَ طَرَدَهُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنْ أَمَامِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ.

And he he made smoke in [the] valley of Ben Hinnom and he burned sons his in the fire according to [the] abominations of the nations which he dispossessed Yahweh from before [the] people of Israel.

٤ 4 وَذَبَحَ وَأَوْقَدَ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْتَفَعَاتِ وَعَلَى ٱلتِّلَالِ وَتَحْتَ كُلِّ شَجَرَةٍ خَضْرَاءَ.

And he sacrificed and he made smoke at the high places and on the hills and under every tree luxuriant.

٥ 5 فَدَفَعَهُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُهُ لِيَدِ مَلِكِ أَرَامَ، فَضَرَبُوهُ وَسَبَوْا مِنْهُ سَبْيًا عَظِيمًا وَأَتَوْا بِهِمْ إِلَى دِمَشْقَ. وَدُفِعَ أَيْضًا لِيَدِ مَلِكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ فَضَرَبَهُ ضَرْبَةً عَظِيمَةً.

And he gave him Yahweh God his in [the] hand of [the] king of Aram and they defeated him and they took captive from him a group of captives large and they brought [them] Damascus and also in [the] hand of [the] king of Israel he was given and he defeated him a defeat great.

٦ 6 وَقَتَلَ فَقَحُ بْنُ رَمَلْيَا فِي يَهُوذَا مِئَةً وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا فِي يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ، ٱلْجَمِيعُ بَنُو بَأْسٍ، لِأَنَّهُمْ تَرَكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَ آبَائِهِمْ.

And he killed Pekah [the] son of Remaliah among Judah one hundred and twenty thousand in a day one all [were] sons of strength because had forsaken they Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their.

٧ 7 وَقَتَلَ زِكْرِي جَبَّارُ أَفْرَايِمَ مَعَسِيَا ٱبْنَ ٱلْمَلِكِ، وَعَزْرِيقَامَ رَئِيسَ ٱلْبَيْتِ، وَأَلْقَانَةَ ثَانِيَ ٱلْمَلِكِ.

And he killed Zikri - warrior of Ephraim Maaseiah [the] son of the king and Azrikam [the] officer of the house and Elkanah [the] second of the king.

٨ 8 وَسَبَى بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ إِخْوَتِهِمْ مِئَتَيْ أَلْفٍ مِنَ ٱلنِّسَاءِ وَٱلْبَنِينَ وَٱلْبَنَاتِ، وَنَهَبُوا أَيْضًا مِنْهُمْ غَنِيمَةً وَافِرَةً وَأَتَوْا بِٱلْغَنِيمَةِ إِلَى ٱلسَّامِرَةِ.

And they took captive [the] people of Israel of relatives their two hundred thousand women sons and daughters and also booty much they plundered from them and they brought the booty to Samaria.

٩ 9 وَكَانَ هُنَاكَ نَبِيٌّ لِلرَّبِّ ٱسْمُهُ عُودِيدُ، فَخَرَجَ لِلِقَاءِ ٱلْجَيْشِ ٱلْآتِي إِلَى ٱلسَّامِرَةِ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «هُوَذَا مِنْ أَجْلِ غَضَبِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِ آبَائِكُمْ عَلَى يَهُوذَا قَدْ دَفَعَهُمْ لِيَدِكُمْ وَقَدْ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ بِغَضَبٍ بَلَغَ ٱلسَّمَاءَ.

And there he was a prophet of Yahweh [was] Oded name his and he went out before the army which was coming to Samaria and he said to them here! in [the] wrath of Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your towards Judah he gave them in hand your and you have killed among them in a rage [which] to to the heavens it has reached.

١٠ 10 وَٱلْآنَ أَنْتُمْ عَازِمُونَ عَلَى إِخْضَاعِ بَنِي يَهُوذَا وَأُورُشَلِيمَ عَبِيدًا وَإِمَاءً لَكُمْ. أَمَا عِنْدَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ آثَامٌ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ؟

And now [the] people of Judah and Jerusalem you [are] saying to subjugate to [male] slaves and to female slaves for yourselves ¿ not certainly you with you [are] guilt to Yahweh God your.

١١ 11 وَٱلْآنَ ٱسْمَعُوا لِي وَرُدُّوا ٱلسَّبْيَ ٱلَّذِي سَبَيْتُمُوهُ مِنْ إِخْوَتِكُمْ لِأَنَّ حُمُوَّ غَضَبِ ٱلرَّبِّ عَلَيْكُمْ».

And therefore listen to me and return the group of captives which you have taken captive from relatives your for [the] burning of [the] anger of Yahweh [is] towards you.

١٢ 12 ثُمَّ قَامَ رِجَالٌ مِنْ رُؤُوسِ بَنِي أَفْرَايِمَ: عَزَرْيَا بْنُ يَهُوحَانَانَ، وَبَرَخْيَا بْنُ مَشُلِّيمُوتَ، وَيَحَزْقِيَا بْنُ شَلُّومَ، وَعَمَاسَا بْنُ حِدْلَايَ عَلَى ٱلْمُقْبِلِينَ مِنَ ٱلْجَيْشِ،

And they rose up men some of [the] leaders of [the] descendants of Ephraim Azariah [the] son of Jehohanan Berekiah [the] son of Meshillemoth and Jechizkiah [the] son of Shallum and Amasa [the] son of Hadlai on the [ones who] were coming from the war.

١٣ 13 وَقَالُوا لَهُمْ: «لَا تَدْخُلُونَ بِٱلسَّبْيِ إِلَى هُنَا لِأَنَّ عَلَيْنَا إِثْمًا لِلرَّبِّ، وَأَنْتُمْ عَازِمُونَ أَنْ تَزِيدُوا عَلَى خَطَايَانَا وَعَلَى إِثْمِنَا، لِأَنَّ لَنَا إِثْمًا كَثِيرًا، وَعَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ حُمُوُّ غَضَبٍ».

And they said to them not you must bring the group of captives here for to [the] guilt of Yahweh on us [are] you? saying to add to sins our and to guilt our for much guilt [belongs] to us and burning of anger [is] towards Israel.

١٤ 14 فَتَرَكَ ٱلْمُتَجَرِّدُونَ ٱلسَّبْيَ وَٱلنَّهْبَ أَمَامَ ٱلرُّؤَسَاءِ وَكُلِّ ٱلْجَمَاعَةِ.

And he left the [man] equipped the group of captives and the plunder before the commanders and all the assembly.

١٥ 15 وَقَامَ ٱلرِّجَالُ ٱلْمُعَيَّنَةُ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ وَأَخَذُوا ٱلْمَسْبِيِّينَ وَأَلْبَسُوا كُلَّ عُرَاتِهِمْ مِنَ ٱلْغَنِيمَةِ، وَكَسَوْهُمْ وَحَذَوْهُمْ وَأَطْعَمُوهُمْ وَأَسْقَوْهُمْ وَدَهَّنُوهُمْ، وَحَمَلُوا عَلَى حَمِيرٍ جَمِيعَ ٱلْمُعْيِينَ مِنْهُمْ، وَأَتَوْا بِهِمْ إِلَى أَرِيحَا، مَدِينَةِ ٱلنَّخْلِ، إِلَى إِخْوَتِهِمْ. ثُمَّ رَجَعُوا إِلَى ٱلسَّامِرَةِ.

And they arose the men who they had been designated by names and they took hold on the group of captives and all naked people their they clothed from the booty and they clothed them and they shod them and they fed them and they gave to drink them and they anointed them and they led them on donkeys any [one who] stumbled and they brought them Jericho [the] city of the palm trees beside relatives their and they returned Samaria.

١٦ 16 فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْوَقْتِ أَرْسَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ آحَازُ إِلَى مُلُوكِ أَشُّورَ لِكَيْ يُسَاعِدُوهُ.

At the time that he sent the king Ahaz to [the] kings of Assyria to help him.

١٧ 17 فَإِنَّ ٱلْأَدُومِيِّينَ أَتَوْا أَيْضًا وَضَرَبُوا يَهُوذَا وَسَبَوْا سَبْيًا.

And again [the] Edomites they had come and they had defeated Judah and they had taken captive captive[s].

١٨ 18 وَٱقْتَحَمَ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ مُدُنَ ٱلسَّوَاحِلِ وَجَنُوبِيَّ يَهُوذَا، وَأَخَذُوا بَيْتَ شَمْسٍ وَأَيَّلُونَ وَجَدِيرُوتَ وَسُوكُو وَقُرَاهَا، وَتِمْنَةَ وَقُرَاهَا، وَحِمْزُو وَقُرَاهَا، وَسَكَنُوا هُنَاكَ.

And [the] Philistines they had made a raid on [the] cities of the Shephelah and the Negev of Judah and they had captured Beth Shemesh and Aijalon and Gederoth and Socoh and daughters its and Timnah and daughters its and Gimzo and daughters its and they dwelt there.

١٩ 19 لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ ذَلَّلَ يَهُوذَا بِسَبَبِ آحَازَ مَلِكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، لِأَنَّهُ أَجْمَحَ يَهُوذَا وَخَانَ ٱلرَّبَّ خِيَانَةً.

For he had humbled Yahweh Judah for sake of Ahaz [the] king of Israel for he had allowed lack of restraint in Judah and he had acted unfaithfully unfaithfulness against Yahweh.

٢٠ 20 فَجَاءَ عَلَيْهِ تَغْلَثُ فِلْنَاسِرُ مَلِكُ أَشُّورَ وَضَايَقَهُ وَلَمْ يُشَدِّدْهُ.

And he came on him Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he harassed him and not he strengthened him.

٢١ 21 لِأَنَّ آحَازَ أَخَذَ قِسْمًا مِنْ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَمِنْ بَيْتِ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَمِنَ ٱلرُّؤَسَاءِ وَأَعْطَاهُ لِمَلِكِ أَشُّورَ وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمْ يُسَاعِدْهُ.

For he had plundered Ahaz [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and the officials and he had given to [the] king of Assyria and not for help for him.

٢٢ 22 وَفِي ضِيقِهِ زَادَ خِيَانَةً بالرَّبِّ ٱلْمَلِكُ آحَازُ هَذَا،

And at [the] time harassed him and he increased to act unfaithfully against Yahweh that the king Ahaz.

٢٣ 23 وَذَبَحَ لِآلِهَةِ دِمَشْقَ ٱلَّذِينَ ضَارَبُوهُ وَقَالَ: «لِأَنَّ آلِهَةَ مُلُوكِ أَرَامَ تُسَاعِدُهُمْ أَنَا أَذْبَحُ لَهُمْ فَيُسَاعِدُونَنِي». وَأَمَّا هُمْ فَكَانُوا سَبَبَ سُقُوطٍ لَهُ وَلِكُلِّ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

And he sacrificed to [the] gods of Damascus which had defeated him and he said that [the] gods of [the] kings of Aram they [are] helping them to them I will sacrifice and they will help me and they they became for him causing overthrow his and all Israel.

٢٤ 24 وَجَمَعَ آحَازُ آنِيَةَ بَيْتِ ٱللهِ وَقَطَّعَ آنِيَةَ بَيْتِ ٱللهِ وَأَغْلَقَ أَبْوَابَ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ، وَعَمِلَ لِنَفْسِهِ مَذَابِحَ فِي كُلِّ زَاوِيَةٍ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ.

And he gathered Ahaz [the] utensils of [the] house of God and he cut up [the] utensils of [the] house of God and he closed [the] doors of [the] house of Yahweh and he made for himself altars at every corner in Jerusalem.

٢٥ 25 وَفِي كُلِّ مَدِينَةٍ فَمَدِينَةٍ مِنْ يَهُوذَا عَمِلَ مُرْتَفَعَاتٍ لِلْإِيقَادِ لِآلِهَةٍ أُخْرَى، وَأَسْخَطَ ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَ آبَائِهِ.

And in every city and a city of Judah he made high places to make smoke to gods other and he provoked Yahweh [the] God of ancestors his.

٢٦ 26 وَبَقِيَّةُ أُمُورِهِ وَكُلُّ طُرُقِهِ ٱلْأُولَى وَٱلْأَخِيرَةُ، هَا هِيَ مَكْتُوبَةٌ فِي سِفْرِ مُلُوكِ يَهُوذَا وَإِسْرَائِيلَ.

And [the] rest of matters his and all ways his former and latter there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Judah and Israel.

٢٧ 27 ثُمَّ ٱضْطَجَعَ آحَازُ مَعَ آبَائِهِ فَدَفَنُوهُ فِي ٱلْمَدِينَةِ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ، لِأَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِهِ إِلَى قُبُورِ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. وَمَلَكَ حَزَقِيَّا ٱبْنُهُ عِوَضًا عَنْهُ.

And he lay down Ahaz with ancestors his and people buried him in the city in Jerusalem for not they brought him to [the] graves of [the] kings of Israel and he became king Hezekiah son his in place of him.
