< Ibraniyawa 6 >
1 Nin nani usunu nimon na iwa durso nari nin nburne, kitene kaduran Kiristi, tiba li uban udu tikunag, na tutun utunu litino ndiu katyen nanya katuwa nkul, a uyinnu nin Kutelle,
Wherefore let us cease to speak of the first principles of Christ, and press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
of the teaching of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
3 Arike tutun ba su ulle imone asa Kutelle nyinna.
And this will we do, if God permit.
4 Bara uso gbas, kiti na lenge na iwa tinani iyinno, ule na awa dumun ufillu Kutelle, ule na iwa kuso nin nfip milau.
For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 inug alle na iwa dumun tigbulan ticine in Kutelle nin likara kuji ncin dak. (aiōn )
and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, (aiōn )
6 inug alle na iwa diuwe-udinin nijasi ukpiliya nani tutun udin ndiu kutyin, nanere bara na inghe atimine wa kotin gono Kutelle kitene kuca, tutun itanghe aso imon ncing fong.
and [then] fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:
8 Bara as kunutuno imart nin ubarje, ku ba so hem, nin ndre nnti nnu, imalline ba dak nin njujuzu.
but if it beareth thorns and thistles, it is rejected and nigh unto a curse; whose end is to be burned.
9 Vat nin nani tidin nliru nenge, adondong bite tise likara nimon icine, ulenge na idi immine, imon ille na idi in tucue.
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:
10 Bara na Kutelle unan salin adalciari ba, na aba shawu nin katuwa mine nin nsu na ina durso bara lissa me, nanya nanere iwa tumuzun annit alau, udak nene idinsu nani.
for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye shewed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister.
11 Nin nani arike ntah nibinayi, nworo kogha nanya mine ba dursu imusu nciu kibinayi udu imalin, nin se ntabas nyinnu.
And we desire that each one of you may shew the same diligence unto the fulness of hope even to the end:
12 Na tidinin su ilawa shankalong ba, mbara iso anan nsu nimon ule na anan nse ngadu na likawali, bara iyinnu nin nayi ashau.
that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 Bara kubi na Kutelle wa su Ibrahim ku likawali, a wa sillo nin litime, tunda na awasa a sillo nin mong ulenge na adi udiya ba.
For when God made promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he sware by himself,
14 Ame woronghe “meng lallai mba tifi nmari, mba kuru nkpin ngbardang likurafe?”
saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
And thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 Bara anit dinsu isillin ninle na akatin nani nin gbardang, nanya namusu mine, isillin nnere imaline vat.
For men swear by the greater: and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
Wherein God, being minded to shew more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath:
18 Awa su nani bara imon ibba illenge na idin sakisu ba, nanya nilenge na udinin nijasi Kutelle su kinnu, arike alenge na tina chum udu kiti nyeshinu tiba se likara kibinayi timin uti nayi ulle na ina ceou bara arike.
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us;
19 Tidimu nle uciu kibanayi, nafo ukessu nin likara ntabatu nidowo bite, uti kibinayi na uwa piru nanya kiti kuzeni kibulun.
which we have as an anchor of the soul, [a hope] both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
20 Yisa wa piru kiti kane, nafo unan npunu kibulun bite, amini wa da so upirist udiya sa ligan nin nbellun Malkisadak (aiōn )
whither as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
