1 Ukune unan tardu nacara kutii kulau udu kitin nnang su nighe, ule na adi nan su me kidegene.
The Elder vnto the beloued Gaius, whom I loue in the trueth.
2 Unan su ning, indin nlira uyita ucine nin linbun nanya nimung vat, nafo na kibinaai fe din libum.
Beloued, I wish chiefly that thou prosperedst and faredst well as thy soule prospereth.
3 Bara na indin lanzu nmmang kang linwana nwadak idin belu kidegen fe, nafo na udin cinu nanya kidegene.
For I reioyced greatly when the brethren came, and testified of the trueth that is in thee, how thou walkest in the trueth.
4 Na indi na monn ayaaboo adiya ale naa akatin alele ba, in laza nono nighe din cinu nanya kidegene.
I haue no greater ioy then these, that is, to heare that my sonnes walke in veritie.
5 Unang sunin, udin su katwa kachine kiti nwana nin na mara,
Beloued, thou doest faithfully, whatsoeuer thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers,
6 alena ina ina yene nin nizi mine musun isufe nanya kiti kulau, uma caunu ntuu nanin mbung incine ucine kiti Kutelle,
Which bare witnesse of thy loue before the Churches. Whom if thou bringest on their iourney as it beseemeth according to God, thou shalt doe well,
7 bara lisa loo na ina nuzu mung, na iyira imemung nenya na wurme.
Because that for his Names sake they went forth, and tooke nothing of the Gentiles.
8 Ucaun arik tiseru nanin nani bara tinang munu ate katwa udu kidegen.
We therefore ought to receiue such, that we might be helpers to the trueth.
9 Nndin yertu minu imemong udu ligozin nanit, bara nani Diotrasfes, ule na adinin su a suu unan burnu nanya minee, na awa seru nari ba.
I wrote vnto the Church: but Diotrephes which loueth to haue the preeminence among them, receiueth vs not.
10 Bara nani, inwa dak ina lizinu imong ile na ana su, na awa belu imong inanzan nati bite nin tin tigbulaln tisirne. Tutun na nani mbatinghe ba na asere linwana ba, a wantina nin kuu nale na iwa di nin nibinai ye nnani nanya ligozin na nite.
Wherefore if I come, I will call to your remembrance his deedes which he doeth, pratling against vs with malicious wordes, and not therewith content, neither he himselfe receiueth the brethren, but forbiddeth them that woulde, and thrusteth them out of the Church.
11 Anansuning, na iwa masu imong inanzan ba masan icine ulena asu icine un Kutelleri, ule na adin su imong inanzan nasa yene Kutelleba.
Beloued, follow not that which is euill, but that which is good: he that doeth well, is of God: but he that doeth euill, hath not seene God.
12 Demetrus inan tii nizi ibaa vat nin kidegene litime. Arik wang ti yina nin ti nizi ibiye anung wang yiru uyenu bite kidegenere.
Demetrius hath good report of al men, and of the trueth it selfe: yea, and wee our selues beare recorde, and ye know that our record is true.
13 Ndi nin nimung gbardan na mma yertinu udukitimine na inya in yertine nanya kubaga nin mmyen niyert ba.
I haue many things to write: but I will not with yncke and pen write vnto thee:
14 Ndin caa inyene mune nin nizi, tima nin liru tiyenje atii. Ayi ahau soo nan ghinu a dodndon din lisu minu, lison a dondonye nin tisa tisa mine.
For I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speake mouth to mouth. Peace be with thee. The friends salute thee. Greete the friends by name.
