< Psalms 147 >
1 Luzitisa Yave! A phila mboti yidi mu yimbila minzitusu kuidi Nzambi eto. A phila khini ayi fuana kuidi mu kunzitisa.
Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise you the Lord: for psalmody is a good thing; let praise be sweetly sung to our God.
2 Yave weti tunga Yelusalemi, weti kutikisa bana ba Iseli bayenda mu kivika.
The Lord builds up Jerusalem; and he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.
3 Niandi weti belusa mintima mi kosakana ayi wunkanganga ziphasima mu ziphuta ziawu.
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
4 Niandi weti zenga thalu yi zimbuetete ayi weti kuzitedila kadika mbuetete mu dizina diandi.
He numbers the multitudes of stars; and calls them all by names.
5 Pfumu eto widi wunneni ayi lulendo luandi luidi lunneni; diela diandi disi kadi ndilu ko.
Great is our Lord, and great is his strength; and his understanding is infinite.

The Lord lifts up the meek; but brings sinners down to the ground.
7 Luyimbidila Yave mu kumvutudilanga matondo; Lusikila Nzambi eto miziki mu ngitala.
Begin [the song] with thanksgiving to the Lord; sing praises on the harp to our God:
8 Niandi wufukidilanga diyilu mu matuti; wunkubikanga mvula mu diambu di ntoto ayi niandi wummenisanga biti va mbata miongo mi fioti.
who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who causes grass to spring up on the mountains, [[and green herb for the service of men; ]]
9 Niandi wumvananga bidia kuidi bibulu bi fioti ayi kuidi bana ba ngonyi-ngonyi bu beti tela.
and gives cattle their food, and to the young ravens that call upon him.
10 Khini andi yisi ko mu zingolo zi phunda ayi yangalala kuandi kuisi ko mu malu ma mutu.
He will not take pleasure in the strength of a horse; neither is he well-pleased with the legs of a man.
11 Yave weti yangalala mu batu bobo beti kunkinzika, bobo bantulanga diana diawu mu luzolo luandi lungolo.
The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear him, and in all that hope in his mercy.
12 Yayisa Yave, a Yelusalemi; zitisa Nzambi aku, a Sioni;
Alleluia, a Psalm of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Sion.

He makes your borders peaceful, and fills you with the flour of wheat.
15 Niandi wumfidisanga zithumunu ziandi ku ntoto; mambu mandi meti tembakana mu thinu nsualu.
He sends his oracle to the earth: his word will run swiftly.
16 Niandi wumvananga mvula yi matadi banga mika mi dimemi; ayi wuntembikisanga disala banga dibombi.
He gives snow like wool: he scatters the mist like ashes.
17 Niandi wunlonzanga mvulꞌandi yi matadi banga matadi ma fioti Nani wulenda telama va ntuala phemo andi yi kiozi e?
Casting [forth] his ice like morsels: who shall stand before his cold?
18 Weti fidisa mambu mandi ayi weti kumasiutisa; weti vemuna phemo yi ngolo andi ayi minlangu mieti kumba.
He shall send out his word, and melt them: he shall blow [with] his wind, and the waters shall flow.
19 Niandi wuzabikisa mambu mandi kuidi Yakobi; mina miandi ayi zinzengolo ziandi kuidi Iseli.
He sends his word to Jacob, his ordinances and judgements to Israel.
20 Kasia bu vangila kadi kuidi dikanda dinkaka ko basia zaba ko mina miandi. Luzitisa Yave.
He has not done so to any [other] nation; and he has not shown them his judgements.
