1 Саул [оттуз] яшта падиша болуп Исраилниң үстидә икки жил сәлтәнәт қилғандин кейин
Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,
2 Өзигә Исраилдин үч миң адәмни илғап алди. Икки миңи Микмашта вә Бәйт-Әл тағлирида Саулниң қешида, бир миңи Бинямин зиминидики Гибеаһда Йонатанниң қешида еди. Амма у қалған хәлиқниң һәр бирини өз өйлиригә кәткүзивәтти.
Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.
3 Йонатан болса Филистийләрниң Гебадики ләшкәргаһиға һуҗум қилди, Филистийләр буниңдин хәвәр тапти. Саул болса: — Пүткүл зиминдики ибранийлар аңлап ойғансун дәп, канай чалдурди.
And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.
4 Пүткүл Исраил Саулниң Филистийләрниң ләшкәргаһиға һуҗум қилғанлиғидин һәмдә Исраилниң Филистийләргә нәпрәтлинидиғанлигидин хәвәр тапти. Хәлиқ Саулниң кәйнидин Гилгалға берип жиғилди.
And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.
5 Филистийләрдин Исраил билән җәң қилғили үч миң җәң һарвуси, алтә миң атлиқ ләшкәр вә деңиз саһилидики қумдәк көп пиядә ләшкәр жиғилди. Улар келип Бәйт-Авәнниң шәриқ тәрипидики Микмашта баргаһ тикти.
And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.
6 Исраилниң адәмлири өзлириниң қаттиқ хийим-хәтәрдә қалғанлиғини көрүп ғарларға, чатқаллиқларға, қия ташлиқларға, жуқури җайларға вә азгалларға йошурунивелишти;
When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed, ) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.
7 [бәзи] Ибранийлар Иордан дәриясидин өтүп, Гад вә Гилеадниң зиминиға қечип барди. Лекин Саул Гилгалда қалди, адәмлириниң һәммиси униңға титригән һалда әгәшти.
And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.
8 Әнди Саул Самуил униңға бекиткән вақитқичә йәттә күн күтүп турди; лекин Самуил Гилгалға кәлмиди, хәлиқ униңдин тарилип кәткили турди.
And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
9 Саул: — Көйдүрмә қурбанлиқ билән енақлиқ қурбанлиқлирини бу йәргә — йенимға елип келиңлар, деди. Андин у өзи көйдүрмә қурбанлиқ өткүзди.
And Saul said, Bring here a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.
10 Вә шундақ болдики, у көйдүрмә қурбанлиқни түгитиши биләнла, мана Самуил кәлди. Саул униңға салам қилғили алдиға чиқти.
And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.
11 Лекин Самуил: — Немә ишларни қилдиң?! — дәп сориди. Саул: — Хәлиқ мәндин тарилип кәткәнлигини, силиниң бекиткән вақитта кәлмигәнликлирини, Филистийләрниң Микмашта жиғилғинини көрдум,
And Samuel said, What have you done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you came not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;
12 мән ичимдә: Әнди Филистийләр Гилгалға чүшүп маңа һуҗум қилмақчи, мән болсам техи Пәрвәрдигарға илтиҗа қилмидим, дедим. Шуңа көйдүрмә қурбанлиқ қилишқа өзүмни мәҗбурлидим, деди.
Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now on me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
13 Самуил Саулға: — Сән ахмақлиқ қилдиң; сән Худайиң Пәрвәрдигар саңа буйруған әмирни тутмидиң; шундақ қилған болсаң Пәрвәрдигар Исраилниң үстидики сәлтәнитиңни мәңгү мустәһкәм қилатти, деди.
And Samuel said to Saul, You have done foolishly: you have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which he commanded you: for now would the LORD have established your kingdom on Israel for ever.
14 Лекин әнди сәлтәнитиң мустәһкәм турмайду. Пәрвәрдигар Өз көңлидикидәк мувапиқ бир адәмни издәп тапти. Пәрвәрдигар уни Өз хәлқиниң башламчиси қилди, чүнки сән Пәрвәрдигар саңа буйруғанни тутмидиң, деди.
But now your kingdom shall not continue: the LORD has sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be captain over his people, because you have not kept that which the LORD commanded you.
15 Андин Самуил орнидин туруп Гилгалдин кетип Бинямин зиминидики Гибеаһға барди. Саул болса өз йенидики адәмләрни саниди; улар алтә йүзчә чиқти.
And Samuel arose, and got him up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.
16 Саул билән оғли Йонатан вә уларниң қешида қалған хәлиқ Бинямин зиминидики Гебада қелип қалди, Филистийләр болса Микмашта баргаһ тиккән еди.
And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people that were present with them, stayed in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.
17 Қарақчилар дайим Филистийләрниң баргаһидин чиқип үч бөләккә бөлүнәтти. Бир бөләк Шуал зиминидики Офраһға баридиған йолға атлинатти,
And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned to the way that leads to Ophrah, to the land of Shual:
18 бир бөләк Бәйт-Һоронға баридиған йол билән маңатти, йәнә бир бөләк чөлниң четидики Зәбоим җилғисиға қарайдиған зиминдики йолға маңатти.
And another company turned the way to Bethhoron: and another company turned to the way of the border that looks to the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.
19 Амма пүткүл Исраил зиминида һеч бир төмүрчи тепилмайтти; чүнки Филистийләр: — Ибранийлар өзлиригә қилич яки нәйзә ясалмисун, дәп ойлайтти.
Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:
20 Бу сәвәптин Исраиллар һәммиси сапан чишлири, кәтмәнлирини, палтилирини вә оғақлирини бислаш үчүн Филистийләрниң қешиға баратти.
But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his ax, and his mattock.
21 Улар сапан чишлири вә кәтмәнләр үчүн үчтин икки шәкәл, җоту, палта вә зихларни бислаш үчүн үчтин бир шәкәлни төләйтти.
Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads.
22 Шуңа уруш болғанда Саул вә Йонатанниң қешидики хәлиқниң һеч биридә қилич я нәйзә йоқ еди; пәқәт Саул билән оғли Йонатандила бар еди.
So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.
23 У вақитта Филистийләрниң бир қаравуллар әтрити Микмаштики даванға чиққан еди.
And the garrison of the Philistines went out to the passage of Michmash.
