ज़बूर 3
1 दाऊद का ज़बूर जब वह अपने बेटे अबीसलोम के सामने से भागा गया था। ऐ ख़ुदावन्द मेरे सताने वाले कितने बढ़ गए, वह जो मेरे ख़िलाफ़ उठते हैं बहुत हैं।
A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they multiplied that trouble me? many [are] they that rise up against me.
2 बहुत से मेरी जान के बारे में कहते हैं, कि ख़ुदा की तरफ़ से उसकी मदद न होगी। (सिलाह)
Many [there are] who say of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God. (Selah)
3 लेकिन तू ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, हर तरफ़ मेरी सिपर है। मेरा फ़ख़्र और सरफ़राज़ करने वाला।
But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
4 मैं बुलन्द आवाज़ से ख़ुदावन्द के सामने फ़रियाद करता हूँ और वह अपने पाक पहाड़ पर से मुझे जवाब देता है। (सिलाह)
I cried to the LORD with my voice, and he heard me from his holy hill. (Selah)
5 मैं लेट कर सो गया; मैं जाग उठा, क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द मुझे संभालता है।
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 मैं उन दस हज़ार आदमियों से नहीं डरने का, जो चारों तरफ़ मेरे ख़िलाफ़ इकठ्ठा हैं।
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set [themselves] against me on all sides.
7 उठ ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, ऐ मेरे ख़ुदा, मुझे बचा ले! क्यूँकि तूने मेरे सब दुश्मनों को जबड़े पर मारा है। तूने शरीरों के दाँत तोड़ डाले हैं।
Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all my enemies [upon] the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 नजात ख़ुदावन्द की तरफ़ से है। तेरे लोगों पर तेरी बरकत हो!
Salvation [belongeth] to the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. (Selah)
