यसा 23
1 सूर के बारे में नबुव्वत ऐ तरसीस के जहाज़ो, वावैला करो क्यूँकि वह उजड़ गया, वहाँ कोई घर और कोई दाख़िल होने की जगह नहीं! कित्तीम की ज़मीन से उनको ये ख़बर पहुँची है।
The birthun of Tire. Ye schippis of the see, yelle, for the hous is distried, fro whennus coumfort was wont to come; fro the lond of Cethym, and was schewid to hem.
2 ऐ साहिल के बाशिन्दों, जिनको सैदानी सौदागरों ने जो समन्दर के पार आते जाते हैं मालामाल कर दिया है, ख़ामोश रहो।
Be ye stille, that dwellen in the ile, the marchaundie of Sidon; men passynge the see filliden thee in many watris;
3 समन्दर के पार से सीहोर' का ग़ल्ला और दरिया-ए-नील की फ़सल उसकी आमदनी थी, तब वह क़ौमों की तिजारत — गाह बना।
the seed of Nylus is heruest, the flood is the corn therof, and it is maad the marchaundie of hethene men.
4 ऐ सैदा, तू शरमा, क्यूँकि समन्दर ने कहा है, “समन्दर की गढ़ी ने कहा, मुझे दर्द — ए — ज़िह नहीं लगा, और मैंने बच्चे नहीं जने; मैं जवानों को नहीं पालती, और कुँवारियों की परवरिश नहीं करती हूँ।”
Thou, Sidon, be aschamed, seide the see, the strengthe of the see, and seide, Y trauelide not of child, and Y childide not, and Y nurschide not yonge men, and Y brouyte not fulli virgyns to encreessyng.
5 जब अहल — ए — मिस्र को यह ख़बर पहुँचेगी, तो वह सूर की ख़बर से बहुत ग़मगीन होंगे।
Whanne it schal be herd in Egipt, thei schulen make sorewe, whanne thei heren of Tire.
6 ऐ साहिल के बाशिन्दो, तुम ज़ार — ज़ार रोते हुए तरसीस को चले जाओ।
Passe ye the sees; yelle ye, that dwellen in the ile.
7 क्या यह तुम्हारी शादमान बस्ती है, जिसकी हस्ती पहले से है? उसी के पाँव उसे दूर — दूर ले जाते हैं कि परदेस में रहे।
Whether this citee is not youre, that hadde glorie fro elde daies in his eldnesse? the feet therof schulen lede it fer, to go in pilgrymage.
8 किसी ने यह मंसूबा सूर के ख़िलाफ़ बाँधा जो ताज बख़्श है जिसके सौदागर 'उमरा और जिसके ताजिर दुनिया भर के 'इज़्ज़तदार हैं।
Who thouyte this thing on Tire sum tyme crownede, whos marchauntis weren princes, the selleris of marchaundie therof weren noble men of erthe?
9 रब्ब — उल — अफ़वाज ने ये इरादा किया है कि सारी हशमत के घमण्ड को हलाक करे और दुनिया भर के इज़्ज़तदारों को ज़लील करे।
The Lord of oostis thouyte this thing, that he schulde drawe doun the pride of al glorie, and that he schulde bringe to schenschipe alle the noble men of erthe.
10 ऐ दूख़्तर — ए — तरसीस दरिया-ए-नील की तरह अपनी सरज़मीन पर फैल जा अब कोई बन्द बाक़ी नहीं रहा।
Thou douyter of the see, passe thi lond as a flood; a girdil is no more to thee.
11 उसने समन्दर पर अपना हाथ बढ़ाया, उसने ममलुकतों को हिला दिया; ख़ुदावन्द ने कनान के हक़ में हुक्म किया है कि उसके क़िले' मिस्मार किए जाएँ।
It stretchide forth his hond aboue the see, and disturblide rewmes. The Lord sente ayenes Canaan, for to al to-breke the stronge men therof;
12 और उसने कहा, “ऐ मज़लूम कुँवारी, दुख़्तर — ए — सैदा, तू फिर कभी घमण्ड न करेगी; उठ क़ित्तीम में चली जा, तुझे वहाँ भी चैन न मिलेगा।”
and he seide, Thou maide, the douyter of Sidon, that suffrist caleng, schalt no more adde, that thou haue glorie. Rise thou, and passe ouer the see in to Sechym; there also no reste schal be to thee.
13 कसदियों के मुल्क को देख! यह क़ौम मौजूद न थी; असूर ने उसे वीरान के रहनेवालों का हिस्सा ठहराया। उन्होंने अपने बुर्ज बनाए उन्होंने उसके महल ग़ारत किये और उसे वीरान किया।
Lo! the lond of Caldeis, sich a puple was not; Assur foundide that Tyre; thei ledden ouer in to caitifte the strong men therof; thei myneden the housis therof, thei settiden it in to fallyng.
14 ऐ तरसीस के जहाज़ों वावैला करो क्यूँकि तुम्हारा क़िला' उजाड़ा गया।
Yelle, ye schippis of the see, for youre strengthe is distried.
15 और उस वक़्त यूँ होगा कि सूर किसी बादशाह के दिनों के मुताबिक़, सत्तर बरस तक फ़रामोश हो जाएगा; और सत्तर बरस के बाद सूर की हालत फ़ाहिशा के गीत के मुताबिक़ होगी।
And it schal be, in that dai, thou Tire, schalt be in foryetyng bi seuenti yeer, as the daies of o king; but aftir seuenti yeer, as the song of an hoore schal be to Tyre.
16 ऐ फ़ाहिशा तू जो फ़रामोश हो गई है, बर्बत उठा ले और शहर में फिरा कर राग को छेड़ और बहुत — सी ग़ज़लें गा कि लोग तुझे याद करें।
Thou hoore, youun to foryetyng, take an harpe, cumpasse the citee; synge thou wel, vse thou ofte a song, that mynde be of thee.
17 और सत्तर बरस के बाद यूँ होगा कि ख़ुदावन्द सूर की ख़बर लेगा, और वह उजरत पर जाएगी और इस ज़मीन पर की तमाम ममलुकतों से बदकारी करेगी।
And it schal be, aftir seuenti yeer, the Lord schal visite Tire, and schal brynge it ayen to hise hiris; and eft it schal be, whanne it schal do fornycacioun with alle rewmes of erthe, on the face of erthe.
18 लेकिन उसकी तिजारत और उसकी उजरत ख़ुदावन्द के लिए मुक़द्दस होगी और उसका माल न ज़ख़ीरा किया जाएगा और न जमा' रहेगा बल्कि उसकी तिजारत का हासिल उनके लिए होगा, जो ख़ुदावन्द के सामने रहते हैं कि खाकर सेर हों और नफ़ीस पोशाक पहने।
And the marchaundies therof and the meedis therof schulen be halewid to the Lord; tho schulen not be hid, nethir schulen be leid vp; for whi the marchaundie therof schal be to hem that dwellen bifore the Lord, that thei ete to fulnesse, and be clothid `til to eldnesse.
