Приповісті 8
1 Чи ж мудрість не кличе, і не подає свого голосу розум?
¿ Not wisdom does she call out and understanding does she give forth? voice her.
2 На верхі́в'ях холмі́в, при дорозі та на перехре́стях стоїть он вона!
At [the] top of [the] heights on [the] way between [the] pathways she stations herself.
3 При брамах, при вході до міста, де вхо́диться в двері, там голосно кличе вона:
To [the] side of [the] gates to [the] opening of [the] town [the] entrance of [the] doorways they cry aloud.
4 „До вас, мужі, я кличу, а мій голос до лю́дських синів:
To you O people I call and voice my [is] to [the] children of humankind.
5 Зрозумійте но, не́уки, мудрість, зрозумійте ви розум, безглу́зді!
Understand O naive people prudence and O fools understand heart.
6 Послухайте, я бо шляхе́тне кажу́, і відкриття́ моїх губ — то просто́та.
Listen for princely things I will speak and [the] utterance of lips my [will be] uprightness.
7 Бо правду говорять уста́ мої, а лукавство — гидо́та для губ моїх.
For truth it will utter palate my and [is] an abomination of lips my wickedness.
8 Всі слова́ моїх уст справедливі, нема в них круті́йства й лука́вства.
[are] Righteousness all [the] words of mouth my there not among them [is] a twisted [thing] and a distorted [thing].
9 Усі вони про́сті, хто їх розуміє, і щирі для тих, хто знахо́дить знання́.
All of them [are] right to the discerning [person] and upright to [those who] find knowledge.
10 Візьміть ви карта́ння моє, а не срі́бло, і знання́, добірні́ше від щирого золота:
Take discipline my and may not [you take] silver and knowledge more than gold chosen.
11 ліпша бо мудрість за пе́рли, і не рівняються їй всі клейно́ди!
For [is] good wisdom more than jewels and all pleasures not they compare with it.
12 Я, мудрість, живу разом з розумом, і знахо́джу пізна́ння розва́жне.
I wisdom I dwell prudence and knowledge of discretion I find.
13 Страх Господній — лихе все нена́видіти: я нена́виджу пи́ху та гордість, і дорогу лиху та лукаві уста́!
[the] fear of Yahweh [is] to hate evil pride and arrogance - and a way evil and a mouth of perversities I hate.
14 В мене рада й огля́дність, я розум, і сила у мене.
[belong] to Me counsel and sound wisdom I [am] understanding [belongs] to me strength.
15 Мною царю́ють царі, а законода́вці права́ справедливі встано́влюють.
By me kings they reign and rulers they enact righteousness.
16 Мною пра́влять владики й вельмо́жні, всі праведні су́дді.
By me princes they rule and noble [people] all judges of (righteousness. *L(H)*)
17 Я кохаю всіх тих, хто кохає мене, хто ж шукає мене — мене зна́йде!
I ([those who] love me *Q(K)*) I love and [those who] earnestly seek me they find me.
18 Зо мною багатство та слава, трива́лий маєток та правда:
Wealth and honor [are] with me wealth enduring and righteousness.
19 ліпший плід мій від щирого золота й золота чистого, а прибуток мій ліпший за срі́бло добі́рне!
[is] good Fruit my more than gold and more than pure gold and gain my more than silver chosen.
20 Путтю праведною я ходжу́, поміж правних стежо́к,
In [the] path of righteousness I walk in [the] midst of [the] pathways of justice.
21 щоб дати багатство в спа́дщину для тих, хто кохає мене, — і я понапо́внюю їхні скарбни́ці!
To give as an inheritance [those who] love me - substance and treasuries their I fill.
22 Господь мене мав на поча́тку Своєї дороги, перше чи́нів Своїх, спервові́ку, —
Yahweh he created me [the] beginning of way his [the] beginning of works his from then.
23 відвіку була я встано́влена, від поча́тку, від праві́ку землі.
From long ago I was installed from [the] beginning from [the] beginnings of [the] earth.
24 Наро́джена я, як безо́день іще не було́, коли не було ще джере́л, водою обтя́жених.
When there not [were] [the] deeps I was brought forth when there not [were] springs abounding of water.
25 Наро́джена я, поки го́ри поставлені ще не були́, давніше за па́гірки,
Before mountains they were planted before [the] hills I was brought forth.
26 коли ще землі не вчинив Він, ні піль, ні початко́вого по́роху все́світу.
Until not he had made [the] earth and [the] open places and [the] first of [the] dusts of [the] world.
27 Коли приправля́в небеса́ — я була́ там, коли кру́га вставля́в на пове́рхні безо́дні,
When established he [the] heavens [was] there I when marked out he a circle on [the] surface of [the] deep.
28 коли хмари умі́цнював Він нагорі́, як джере́ла безо́дні зміцня́в,
When made firm he [the] clouds above when became strong [the] springs of [the] deep.
29 коли клав Він для моря уста́ва його, щоб його берегі́в вода не перехо́дила, коли ставив осно́ви землі, —
When set he for the sea - limit its and [the] waters not they will transgress mouth his when marked out he [the] foundations of [the] earth.
30 то я ма́йстром у Нього була́, і була я весе́лощами день-у-день, радіючи перед обличчям Його кожноча́сно,
And I was beside him an artisan and I was delight day - day playing before him at every time.
31 радіючи на земнім кру́зі Його, а заба́ва моя — із синами людськими!
Playing in [the] world of earth his and delight my [were] with [the] children of humankind.
32 Тепер же, послухайте, діти, мене, і блаже́нні, хто буде дороги мої стерегти́!
And therefore O children listen to me and how blessed! [are those who] ways my they observe.
33 Навча́ння послухайте й мудрими станьте, і не відступайте від нього!
Listen to correction and act wisely and may not you neglect [it].
34 Блаже́нна люди́на, яка мене слухає, щоб пильнувати при две́рях моїх день-у-день, щоб одві́рки мої берегти́!
How blessed! [is] a person [who] listens to me by keeping watch at doors my day - day by watching [the] doorposts of doorways my.
35 Хто бо знахо́дить мене, той знахо́дить життя, і оде́ржує милість від Господа.
For [one who] finds me (he finds *Q(K)*) life and he obtained favor from Yahweh.
36 А хто́ проти мене гріши́ть, ограбо́вує душу свою; всі, хто мене ненави́дить, ті смерть покохали!“
And [one who] misses me [is] doing wrong to self his all [those who] hate me they love death.
