1 Оце походи Ізраїлевих синів, що вийшли з єгипетського кра́ю за своїми військо́вими відділами під рукою Мойсея та Аарона.
These are the lodging places of the sons of Israel, who departed from Egypt by their companies under the hand of Moses and Aaron,
2 А Мойсей написав їхні ви́ходи з їхніми похо́дами за Господнім наказом, і оце їхні похо́ди за їхніми ви́ходами.
which Moses wrote down according to the places of the encampments, which they changed upon the order of the Lord.
3 І рушили вони з Рамесесу першого місяця, п'ятнадцятого дня першого місяця, другого дня по Пасці вийшли Ізраїлеві сини сильною рукою на оча́х усього Єгипту.
Thus the sons of Israel set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, with an exalted hand, being seen by all the Egyptians.
4 А Єгипет ховав, кого побив Господь серед них, — кожного перворідного, а над їхніми богами зробив Господь суди́.
And these were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had struck down (for so, too, did he carry out retribution against their gods).
5 І рушили Ізраїлеві сини з Рамесесу, і таборува́ли в Суккоті.
And they made camp at Soccoth.
6 І рушили з Суккоту й таборува́ли в Етамі, що на краю́ пустині.
And from Soccoth they went to Etham, which is at the furthest limits of the wilderness.
7 І рушили з Етаму, а вернулися до Пі-Хіроту, що перед Баал-Цефоном, і таборува́ли перед Міґдолом.
Departing from there, they arrived opposite Pi-hahiroth, which looks out toward Baal-zephon, and they were encamped before Migdol.
8 І рушили з-перед Хіроту, і перейшли́ серед моря до пустині, і йшли триде́нною дорогою в Етамській пустині, і таборува́ли в Марі.
And setting out from Pi-hahiroth, they crossed through the middle of the Sea into the wilderness. And having walked for three days through the desert of Etham, they made camp at Marah.
9 І рушили з Мари й увійшли до Еліму, — а в Елімі — дванадцять джере́л води та сімдеся́т пальм, — і таборува́ли там.
And setting out from Marah, they arrived at Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees. And they set up camp there.
10 І рушили з Еліму й таборува́ли над Червоним морем.
But departing from there also, they fixed their tents above the Red Sea. And setting out from the Red Sea,
11 І рушили з-над Червоного моря й таборува́ли в пустині Сін.
they were encamped in the desert of Sin.
12 І рушили з пустині Сін і таборува́ли в Дофці.
Departing from there, they went to Dophkah.
13 І рушили з Дофки й таборували в Алуші.
And setting out from Dophkah, they made camp at Alush.
14 І рушили з Алушу й таборували в Ріфідімі, — і не було там води на пиття для народу.
And departing from Alush, they fixed their tents at Rephidim, where the people lacked water to drink.
15 І рушили з Ріфідіму й таборували в пустині Сіна́й.
And setting out from Rephidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.
16 І рушили з пустині Сінай і таборували в Ківрот-Гаттааві.
But departing also from the wilderness of the Sinai, they arrived at the Graves of Lust.
17 І рушили з Ківрот-Гаттаави й таборували в Хацероті.
And setting out from the Graves of Lust, they were encamped at Hazeroth.
18 І рушили з Хацероту й таборували в Рітмі.
And from Hazeroth, they went to Rithmah.
19 І рушили з Рітми й таборували в Ріммоні Переца.
And setting out from Rithmah, they made camp at Rimmon-perez.
20 І рушили з Ріммону Переца й таборували в Лівні.
And departing from there, they arrived at Libnah.
21 І рушили з Лівни й таборували в Ріссі.
From Libnah, they made camp at Rissah.
22 І рушили з Рісси й таборували в Кегелаті.
And departing from Rissah, they went to Kehelathah.
23 І рушили з Кегелати й таборували на горі Шефер.
Setting out from there, they were encamped at mount Shepher.
24 І рушили з гори Шефер і таборували в Хараді.
Departing from mount Shepher, they went to Haradah.
25 І рушили з Харади й таборували в Макгелоті.
Continuing on from there, they made camp at Makheloth.
26 І рушили з Макгелоту й таборували в Тахаті.
And setting out from Makheloth, they went to Tahath.
27 І рушили з Тахату й таборували в Тераху.
From Tahath, they made camp at Terah.
28 І рушили з Тераху й таборували в Мітці.
Departing from there, they pitched their tents at Mithkah.
29 І рушили з Мітки й таборували в Хашмоні.
And from Mithkah, they were encamped at Hashmonah.
30 І рушили з Хашмони й таборували в Мосероті.
And setting out from Hashmonah, they went to Moseroth.
31 І рушили з Мосероту й таборували в Бене-Яакані.
And from Moseroth, they made camp at Bene-jaakan.
32 І рушили з Бене-Яакану й таборували в Хорі Ґідґаду.
And setting out from Bene-jaakan, they went to mount Gidgad.
33 І рушили з Хору Гідґаду й таборували в Йотваті.
Setting out from there, they were encamped at Jotbathah.
34 І рушили з Йотвати й таборували в Авроні.
And from Jotbathah, they went to Abronah.
35 І рушили з Аврони й таборували в Ецйон-Ґевері.
And departing from Abronah, they made camp at Eziongeber.
36 І рушили з Ецйон-Ґеверу й таборува́ли в пустині Цін, це — Кадеш.
Setting out from there, they went into the desert of Sin, which is Kadesh.
37 І рушили з Кадешу й таборува́ли на Гор-горі, на краю́ едомської землі.
And departing from Kadesh, they encamped at mount Hor, at the furthermost limits of the land of Edom.
38 І зійшов священик Ааро́н на Гор-го́ру з Господнього наказу, та й помер там сорокового року ви́ходу Ізраїлевих синів з єгипетського кра́ю, п'ятого місяця, першого дня місяця.
And Aaron the priest ascended onto mount Hor, by the order of the Lord. And there he died, in the fortieth year of the departure of the sons of Israel from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month,
39 А Ааро́н був віку ста й двадцяти й трьох літ, коли помер він на Гор-горі.
when he was one hundred twenty-three years old.
40 І почув ханаанеянин, цар Араду, — а він сидів на півдні в краї ханаанськім, — що йдуть Ізраїлеві сини.
And king Arad the Canaanite, who lived toward the south, heard that the sons of Israel had arrived in the land of Canaan.
41 І рушили від Гор-гори Й таборува́ли в Цалмоні.
And setting out from mount Hor, they made camp at Zalmonah.
42 І рушили з Цалмони й таборували в Пуноні.
Departing from there, they went to Punon.
43 І рушили з Пунону й таборували в Овоті.
And setting out from Punon, they were encamped at Oboth.
44 І рушили з Овоту й таборували в Ійє-Гааварімі, на моавській границі.
And from Oboth, they went to Iye-abarim, which is at the borders of the Moabites.
45 І рушили з Ійїму й таборували в Дівоні Ґаду.
And setting out from Iye-abarim, they fixed their tents at Dibon-gad.
46 І рушили з Дівону Ґаду й таборува́ли в Алмон-Дівлатаймі.
Departing from there, they made camp at Almon-diblathaim.
47 І рушили з Алмон-Дівлатайми й таборува́ли в гора́х Аварім перед Нево.
And departing from Almon-diblathaim, they went to the mountains of Abarim, opposite Nebo.
48 І рушили з гір Аварім, і таборували в моавських степа́х.
And setting out from the mountains of Abarim, they crossed over to the plains of Moab, above the Jordan, opposite Jericho.
49 І таборува́ли вони над Йорда́ном від Бет-Єшмоту аж до Авел-Шіттіму в Моавських степа́х.
And they made camp there, from Beth-jeshimoth all the way to Abel-shittim, in the level places of the Moabites,
50 І Господь промовляв до Мойсея в моавських степах над приєрихо́нським Йорда́ном, говорячи:
where the Lord said to Moses:
51 „Промовляй до Ізраїлевих синів та й скажеш до них: Коли ви пере́йдете Йорда́н до ханаа́нського кра́ю,
“Instruct the sons of Israel, and say to them: When you will have crossed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Canaan,
52 то проженете всіх ме́шканців того Кра́ю перед собою, і понищите всі їхні зобра́ження, і всіх литих ідолів їхніх понищите, і всі їхні висо́ти поруйнуєте.
destroy all the inhabitants of that land. Break their monuments, and shatter their statues, and lay waste to every exalted thing,
53 І ви заволодієте тим Кра́єм, і осядете в ньому, бо Я дав вам той Край на власність.
cleansing the land and living in it. For I have given it you as a possession,
54 І ви заволодієте тим Краєм жеребко́м за вашими родами: числе́нному збі́льшите власність його, а малому зме́ншите власність його, — де вийде йому жеребо́к, туди йому буде, за племенами ваших батьків бу́дете володіти собі.
which you shall divide among you by lot. To the greater number you shall give more, and to the lesser number, less. To each one, just as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be distributed. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and families.
55 А якщо ви не виженете ме́шканців того Кра́ю від себе, то будуть ті, кого позоставите з них, колючка́ми в ваших оча́х та те́рнями в ваших бока́х. І будуть вас утискати на тій землі, що на ній ви сидітимете.
But if you are not willing to put to death the inhabitants of the land, those who remain shall be to you like spikes in your eyes and lances in your sides, and they shall be adversaries to you in the land of your habitation.
56 І станеться, — як Я ду́мав був учинити їм, учиню́ те вам“.
And whatever I had decided to do to them, I will do to you.”
