1 Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ. Dawid dwom. Asase nyinaa momfa ahosɛpɛ nteam mma Onyankopɔn!
To the Chief Musician. A Melodious Song. Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth;
2 Monto ne din animuonyamhyɛ ho dwom; momma nʼayɛyie nyɛ animuonyamhyɛ!
Praise ye in song the glory of his Name, Celebrate the glory of his praise:
3 Monse Onyankopɔn sɛ, “Wo nneyɛɛ yɛ nwanwa wo tumi so na wʼatamfoɔ nyinaa de suro koto wʼanim.
Say unto God—How fearful in thy doings, Through the abounding of thy power, shall thy foes come cringing unto thee;
4 Asase nyinaa koto wo; wɔto ayɛyi dwom ma wo, wɔto dwom kamfo wo din.”
All the earth, shall bow themselves down to thee, And sing praises unto thee, Shall praise in song thy Name. (Selah)
5 Mommra mmɛhwɛ deɛ Onyankopɔn ayɛ; anwanwadeɛ a wayɛ wɔ nnipa mu.
Come and see the doings of God, —Fearful in deed toward the sons of men:
6 Ɔmaa ɛpo yɛɛ asase kesee; wɔnante twaa asuo no. Mommra na yɛnni ahurisie wɔ ne mu.
He turned the sea into dry land, Through the stream, crossed they over on foot, There did we rejoice in him:
7 Ɔde ne tumi di ɔhene daa daa, na ɔde nʼani nso hwɛ aman so. Mma atuatefoɔ nsɔre ntia no.
Who ruleth, in his might, unto times age abiding, His eyes, over the nations, keep watch, The rebellious, let them not exalt themselves. (Selah)
8 Ao aman nyinaa, monhyira yɛn Onyankopɔn, momma wɔnte mo nkamfo no nnyegyeɛ.
Bless our God, O ye peoples, And cause to be heard, the sound of his praise; —
9 Wahwɛ yɛn nkwa so na wamma yɛn nan anwatiri.
Who hath set our soul among the living, And hath not suffered, our foot, to slip.
10 Na wo, Ao Onyankopɔn, wosɔɔ yɛn hwɛeɛ; na wohoaa yɛn ho sɛ dwetɛ.
For thou didst prove us, O God, Thou didst refine us, according to the refining of silver:
11 Wode yɛn kɔguu nneduadan mu na wode nneɛma a ɛyɛ duru too yɛn akyi.
Thou didst bring us into the hunter’s net, Thou didst lay a load upon our loins;
12 Womaa yɛn atamfoɔ twi faa yɛn so; yɛfaa ogya ne nsuo mu, nanso wode yɛn baa baabi a nnepa abu so.
Thou didst let men ride at our head; We went into fire and into water, But thou didst bring us forth into freedom.
13 Mede ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ bɛba wʼasɔredan mu na madi ɛbɔ a mahyɛ wo no so,
I will enter thy house with ascending-sacrifices, I will pay unto thee my vows,
14 ɛbɔ a mʼano fafa hyɛeɛ na mʼano kaaeɛ ɛberɛ a na mewɔ ɔhaw mu no.
Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, in my distress.
15 Mede mmoa a wɔadɔ sradeɛ bɛbɔ afɔdeɛ ama wo nnwennini ayɛyɛdeɛ; mede anantwinini ne mpapo bɛbɔ afɔdeɛ.
Ascending-sacrifices of fatlings, will I cause to ascend unto thee, With the perfume of rams, I will offer bulls, with he-goats. (Selah)
16 Mommra mmɛtie, mo a mosuro Onyankopɔn nyinaa; momma menka deɛ wayɛ ama me nkyerɛ mo.
Come! hearken—that I may recount, all ye reverers of God, What he hath done for my soul: —
17 Mede mʼano su frɛɛ no; na me tɛkrɛma yii no ayɛ.
Unto him—with my mouth, did I cry, And high praise was under my tongue.
18 Sɛ mede bɔne hyɛɛ mʼakomam a, anka Awurade antie me.
If, iniquity, I had cared for in my heart, My Lord, had not heard me!
19 Nanso, nokorɛm, Onyankopɔn atie me, wate me mpaeɛbɔ.
But in truth, God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Nhyira nka Onyankopɔn, a wampo me mpaeɛbɔ na wanyi nʼadɔeɛ amfiri me so.
Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his own lovingkindness from me.
