1 Dawid dwom. Awurade, hwan na ɔbɛsoeɛ wo kronkronbea hɔ? Hwan na ɔbɛtena wo bepɔ kronkron no so?
A psalm of David. Lord, who can be guest in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?
2 Deɛ ne ho nni asɛm na ɔyɛ deɛ ɛtene, deɛ ɔka nokorɛ a ɛfiri nʼakomam
The person whose walk is blameless, whose conduct is right, whose words are true and sincere;
3 na ɔmfa ne tɛkrɛma nsɛe nnipa deɛ ɔnnyɛ ne yɔnko bɔne na ɔmmu ne yɔnko onipa abomfiaa,
on whose tongue there sits no slander, who will not harm a friend,
4 deɛ ɔbu afideyɛni animtiaa na ɔde anidie ma wɔn a wɔsuro Awurade, deɛ ɔdi ne ntam so ɛberɛ a ɛtia no mpo,
nor cruelly insult a neighbor, who regards with contempt those rejected by God; but honors those who obey the Lord, who keeps an oath, whatever the cost,
5 deɛ ɔde ne sika bɔ bosea a ɔnnye nsiho na ɔnnye adanmudeɛ ntia deɛ ɔdi bem. Deɛ ɔyɛ yeinom no renhinhim da.
whose money is lent without interest, and never takes a bribe to hurt the innocent. The person who does these things will always stand firm.
