1 Saa ɛberɛ no na Saulo ani abere sɛ ɔbɛtɔre Kristo akyidifoɔ no ase.
But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
2 Ɔkɔɔ Ɔsɔfopanin no nkyɛn kɔgyee adansedie krataa a ɛbɛma no tumi ama wakɔ hyiadan mu wɔ Damasko akɔkyekyere nnipa a wɔka ekuo a wɔfrɛ no Ɛkwan no ho, sɛ wɔyɛ mmaa anaa mmarima, na ɔde wɔn akɔ Yerusalem.
and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 Ɔreyɛ abɛn Damasko no, prɛko pɛ, hann bi firi ɔsoro twa faa ne ho,
As he traveled, it happened that he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.
4 maa ɔtwa hwee fam. Afei, ɔtee nne bi sɛ, “Saulo! Adɛn enti na wotaa me?”
And he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?"
5 Saulo bisaa sɛ, “Ɛyɛ wo hwan, Owura?” Nne no buaa sɛ, “Ɛyɛ me Yesu a wotaa me no.”
And he said, "Who are you, Lord?" And he said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

But rise up, and enter into the city, and you will be told what you must do."

The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.
8 Afei, Saulo sɔre firii fam hɔ buee nʼani, nanso na ɔnhunu adeɛ. Enti, wɔkurakura no nkakrankakra de no kɔɔ Damasko.
Saul arose from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could not see anything. They led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.

Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias." And he said, "Look, it's me, Lord."

The Lord said to him, "Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For look, he is praying,

and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight."

But Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.

Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name."

But the Lord said to him, "Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.
16 Na mɛkyerɛ no amaneɛ a ɛsiane me din enti ɔbɛhunu.”
For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name's sake."
17 Afei, Anania kɔɔ efie hɔ de ne nsa guu Saulo so kaa sɛ, “Onua Saulo, Awurade Yesu no ankasa a ɔyii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ wo ɛkwan so ɛberɛ a woreba no asoma me sɛ, memmɛbue wʼani na hunu adeɛ, na Honhom Kronkron nhyɛ wo ma.”
Ananias departed, and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me, that you may receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptized.
19 Ɔnyaa aduane bi di meeɛ no, ne ho sanee no. Saulo dii nna kakra wɔ asuafoɔ a na wɔwɔ Damasko no nkyɛn.
He took food and was strengthened. He stayed several days with the disciples who were at Damascus.
20 Ɔhyɛɛ aseɛ kaa asɛmpa no wɔ hyiadan mu sɛ, Yesu yɛ Onyankopɔn Ba ampa.
Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed Jesus, that he is the Son of God.
21 Nnipa a wɔtee asɛm a ɔkaeɛ no nyinaa ho dwirii wɔn maa wɔbisaa sɛ, “Ɛnyɛ saa ɔbarima yi na na ɔkum wɔn a wɔbɔ saa din yi wɔ Yerusalem no anaa? Na yɛate sɛ ɔbaa ha sɛ ɔrebɛkyere wɔn a wɔbɔ saa din yi nyinaa de wɔn akɔma asɔfoɔ mpanin.”
All who heard him were amazed, and said, "Is not this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests."
22 Saulo asɛnka no mu yɛɛ den; nnipa no gyee nsɛm a ɔka faa Yesu ho sɛ ɔno ne Agyenkwa no diiɛ. Yudafoɔ a wɔte Damasko no antumi anka nsɛm a ɔkaeɛ no ho hwee.
But Saul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.

When many days were fulfilled, the Jews conspired together to kill him,

but their plot became known to Saul. They watched the gates both day and night that they might kill him,

but his disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
26 Saulo kɔɔ Yerusalem no, ɔpɛɛ sɛ ɔde ne ho kɔbɔ asuafoɔ no ho nanso wɔsuroo no, ɛfiri sɛ, na wɔnnye nni sɛ wasakyera abɛyɛ osuani.
When Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
27 Barnaba kɔfaa no kɔɔ asuafoɔ no nkyɛn. Ɔkaa wɔn sɛdeɛ Awurade yii ne ho adi kyerɛɛ Saulo na ɔkasa kyerɛɛ no wɔ Damasko ɛkwan so no ne sɛdeɛ ɔde akokoɔduru kaa Yesu ho asɛm wɔ Damasko no.
But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared to them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus.
28 Saulo ne wɔn tenaeɛ na ɔde akokoɔduru kaa Awurade asɛm no wɔ Yerusalem nyinaa.
He was with them coming in and going out in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.
29 Saulo ne Helenifoɔ nyaa akasakasa enti wɔbɔɔ pɔ sɛ wɔbɛkum no.
He spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, but they were seeking to kill him.
30 Ɛberɛ a agyidifoɔ no tee pɔ a Helenifoɔ no bɔɔ wɔ Saulo ho no, wɔde no kɔɔ Kaesarea gyaa no ɛkwan ma ɔkɔɔ Tarso.
When the brothers knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him off to Tarsus.
31 Afei, asafo a wɔwɔ Yudea, Samaria ne Galilea no nyinaa asom dwoo wɔn. Asafo no nam Honhom Kronkron so timiiɛ. Nnipa pii bɛkaa wɔn ho na wɔtenaa ase wɔ Awurade suro mu.
So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

It happened, as Peter went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.
33 ɔhyiaa ɔbarima bi a ne din de Enea a wabubu agu kɛtɛ so mfeɛ nnwɔtwe wɔ hɔ.
There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years, because he was paralyzed.
34 Petro ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Enea, Awurade Yesu Kristo nsa wo yadeɛ. Sɔre na yi wo kɛtɛ!” Amonom hɔ ara, Enea sɔree.
Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed." Immediately he arose.
35 Nnipa a wɔte Lida ne Saron no nyinaa hunuu no no, wɔde wɔn ho maa Awurade.
All who lived at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
36 Na ɔbaa ogyedini bi te Yopa a ne din de Tabita a ne nkyerɛaseɛ ne Dorka a aseɛ ne ɔwansane. Saa ɔbaa yi de nʼadagyeɛ nyinaa yɛɛ papa, boaa ahiafoɔ.
Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha (which when translated, means Dorcas). This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.
37 Saa ɛberɛ korɔ yi ara mu na yadeɛ bɔɔ no maa ɔwuiɛ. Wɔdwaree no de no kɔtoo abansoro dan bi mu.
It happened in those days that she fell sick, and died. When they had washed her, they placed her in an upper chamber.
38 Esiane sɛ Lida bɛn Yopa no enti, asuafoɔ a wɔwɔ Yopa no tee sɛ Petro wɔ Lida no, wɔsomaa mmarima baanu kɔsrɛɛ no sɛ ɔnyɛ ntɛm mmra.
As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to us.
39 Petro yɛɛ ntɛm ne wɔn kɔeɛ. Ɔduruu hɔ no, wɔde no kɔɔ abansoro dan no mu. Akunafoɔ a na wɔwɔ hɔ no nyinaa bɛgyinagyinaa Petro ho suiɛ de ntadeɛ ne ntoma a Tabita te ase no ɔpam maa wɔn no kyerɛɛ no.
Peter got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper chamber. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.
40 Petro maa wɔn nyinaa firii adi. Afei, ɔbuu nkotodwe, bɔɔ mpaeɛ danee nʼani kyerɛɛ amu no kaa sɛ, “Tabita, sɔre!” Tabita tee nʼani na ɔhunuu Petro no, ɔsɔre tenaa ase.
Peter put them all out, and kneeled down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, "Tabitha, get up." She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
41 Petro sɔɔ ne nsa ma ɔsɔre gyinaa hɔ. Afei, Petro frɛɛ agyidifoɔ no ne akunafoɔ no nyinaa de no maa wɔn.
He gave her his hand, and raised her up. Calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.
42 Saa asɛm yi trɛɛ wɔ Yopa nyinaa maa nnipa pii gyee Awurade diiɛ.
And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.
43 Petro tenaa Simon a ɔhyɛ mmoa nwoma aduro no nkyɛn wɔ Yopa kyɛree kakra.
It happened, that he stayed many days in Joppa with one Simon, a tanner.
