< 2 Korintofoɔ 3 >

1 Yei kyerɛ sɛ yɛrehoahoa yɛn ho bio anaa? Anaasɛ yɛhia adansedie nkrataa a ɛfiri yɛn nkyɛn anaa mo nkyɛn sɛdeɛ afoforɔ hia no anaa?
Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? We do not need, as do some, letters of commendation to you or from you, do we?
2 Mo ankasa moyɛ krataa a ɛwɔ yɛn nkyɛn a wɔatwerɛ wɔ yɛn akoma mu sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a obiara bɛhunu na wakan.
You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by everyone;
3 Mote sɛ krataa a Kristo nam yɛn som so atwerɛ. Ɛnyɛ twerɛduro na wɔde twerɛɛ no ɛboɔ ɛpono so, na mmom Onyankopɔn a ɔte ase no Honhom na wɔde twerɛ guu nnipa akoma mu.
being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
4 Saa ahotosoɔ yi na yɛnam Kristo so anya wɔ Onyankopɔn fam.
Such confidence we have through Christ toward God;
5 Biribiara nni yɛn mu a ɛbɛtumi ama yɛasi yɛn bo aka sɛ yɛbɛtumi ayɛ saa adwuma yi. Ahoɔden a yɛwɔ no firi Onyankopɔn.
not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
7 Mmara a ɛde owuo baeɛ no, na wɔatwerɛ no ɛboɔ ɛpono so, nanso animuonyam a na ɛkura no enti nnipa no antumi anhwɛ Mose anim. Mose animuonyam hyerɛneeɛ nanso saa animuonyam no dumiiɛ.
But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away:
8 Enti, apam a Honhom no de ba no, ɛrennya animuonyam mmorosoɔ anaa?
won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory?
9 Sɛ mmara a ɛde owuo ba no wɔ animuonyam a, ɛnneɛ deɛ ɛma yɛtene Onyankopɔn anim no rennya animuonyam a ɛboro so?
For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
10 Nokorɛm, Apam Foforɔ no animuonyam mmorosoɔ enti, mmara a ɛde owuo ba no animuonyam ayera.
For truly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.
11 Na sɛ na animuonyam wɔ biribi a ɛnkyɛre mu a, animuonyam bɛn na ade a ɛte hɔ daa no rennya.
For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
12 Esiane sɛ yɛwɔ saa anidasoɔ yi enti, yɛwɔ akokoɔduru.
Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,
13 Yɛnte sɛ Mose a ɔde nkatanimu kataa nʼanim sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a Israelfoɔ no renhunu nʼanim hyerɛn no pa a ɛrepa na ayera no.
and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel would not look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.
14 Nanso nteaseɛ a wɔn annya no enti ɛbɛsi ɛnnɛ yi, sɛ wɔkenkan Apam Dada nwoma no a, saa nkatanimu no da so kata wɔn adwene so. Ansa na nkatanimu no bɛfiri hɔ no, gye sɛ ɔgye Kristo di.
But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.
15 Ɛbɛsi ɛnnɛ, ɛberɛ biara a wɔbɛkenkan Mose mmara no, nkatanimu no da so kata wɔn adwene so.
But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
16 Nanso sɛ obi gye Awurade di a, ne nkatanimu no, woyi firi hɔ.
But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Na Awurade ne Honhom no, na baabiara a Awurade Honhom wɔ no, ahotɔ wɔ hɔ.
Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 Yɛn a nkatanimu biara nkata yɛn anim no, Awurade animuonyam hyerɛn yɛn anim, na Awurade Honhom no sakra yɛn kɔ nʼanimuonyam mu.
But we all, with unveiled face looking as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.
