1 Afei, Salomo frɛɛ Israel mmusuakuo ne mmusua biara mu ntuanofoɔ nyinaa, sɛ wɔnhyia wɔ Yerusalem. Na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔfa Awurade Apam Adaka no firi baabi a ɛwɔ wɔ Dawid kuro a wɔfrɛ no Sion no mu, de ba baabi foforɔ wɔ Asɔredan mu hɔ.
Then, did Solomon call together the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, chiefs of the fathers of the sons of Israel, unto King Solomon in Jerusalem, —that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, out of the city of David, the same is Zion.
2 Wɔn nyinaa bɛhyiaa wɔ ɔhene anim wɔ afirinhyia afahyɛ a wɔfrɛ no Dwanekɔbea Afahyɛ no ase wɔ bosome Bul (bɛyɛ Ahinime) mu.
So all the men of Israel came together unto King Solomon, in the month of steady flowings, at the festival, —the same is the seventh month.
3 Ɛberɛ a mpanimfoɔ no duruu Israel no, asɔfoɔ no maa Adaka no so.
And all the elders of Israel came in, —and the priests took up the ark;
4 Afei, asɔfoɔ no ne Lewifoɔ maa Awurade Adaka no ne Ntomadan no so, soa de kɔɔ Asɔredan no mu a ɛho nkuku ne nkaka a wɔate ho no ka ho.
and they brought up the ark of Yahweh, and the Tent of Meeting, and all the hallowed vessels that were in the tent, —yea, the priests and the Levites, did bring them up.
5 Ɔhene Salomo ne Israel manfoɔ no nyinaa de nnwan ne anantwie a wɔn dodoɔ nni ano bɔɔ afɔdeɛ wɔ Adaka no anim.
And, King Solomon, and all the assembly of Israel who had assembled themselves unto him, were with him, before the ark, —sacrificing sheep and oxen, which could neither be recorded nor counted, for multitude.
6 Afei, asɔfoɔ no soaa Awurade Adaka no de kɔɔ Asɔredan no kronkron mu kronkron hɔ. Wɔde sii Kerubim no ntaban ase.
So the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Yahweh into its place, into the shrine of the house, into the holy of holies, —under the wings of the cherubim.
7 Kerubim no trɛɛ wɔn ntaban mu wɔ Adaka no so, ma ɛyɛɛ sɛ kyiniiɛ wɔ Adaka no ne ne nnua a ɛsosɔ mu no so.
For, the cherubim, were spreading forth their two wings, over the place of the ark, —and the cherubim made a covering over the ark and over the staves thereof, above.
8 Na nnua a ɛsosɔ mu no woware ara kɔsi sɛ, sɛ obi gyina Asɔredan no kwan a ɛwɔ anim dan kɛseɛ a ɛyɛ kronkronbea no ano a, ɔhunu, nanso sɛ ɔgyina akyire deɛ a, ɔnhunu. Ne nyinaa da so wɔ hɔ bɛsi ɛnnɛ.
And they drew out the staves, and the heads of the staves were seen from the holy place, in front of the shrine, although they were not seen on the outside, —and they have remained there until this day.
9 Na biribiara nni Adaka no mu ka aboɔ apono mmienu a Mose de guu mu wɔ Horeb no, baabi a Awurade ne Israelfoɔ yɛɛ apam, ɛberɛ a wɔfirii Misraim no.
There was nothing in the ark, save the two tables of stone, which Moses deposited there in Horeb, —the tables of the covenant which Yahweh solemnised with the sons of Israel, when they came forth out of the land of Egypt.
10 Asɔfoɔ no refiri Kronkron mu Kronkron hɔ no, omununkum bɛhyɛɛ Awurade Asɔredan no ma.
And so it was, when the priests came forth out of the holy place, that, a cloud, filled the house of Yahweh;
11 Asɔfoɔ no antumi antoa wɔn dwumadie no so, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade animuonyam bɛhyɛɛ Asɔredan no ma.
so that the priests could not stand to minister, because of the cloud, —for, the glory of Yahweh, filled, the house of Yahweh.
12 Na Salomo bɔɔ mpaeɛ sɛ, “Ao, Awurade, woaka sɛ wobɛtena omununkum kusuu mu.
Then, said Solomon, —Yahweh, said, that he would make his habitation in thick gloom:
13 Nanso, masi Asɔredan a ɛwɔ animuonyam ama wo a wobɛtumi atena mu afebɔɔ.”
I have, built, a house as a high abode for thee, —A settled place for thee to abide in, for ages.
14 Na ɔhene no danee ne ho kyerɛɛ ɔmanfoɔ a wɔgyina nʼanim no nyinaa, hyiraa wɔn sɛ,
And the king turned about his face, and blessed all the convocation of Israel, —while all the convocation of Israel was standing;
15 “Nhyira nka Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn a wadi ɛbɔ a ɔhyɛɛ mʼagya Dawid no so.
and he said—Blessed, be Yahweh, God of Israel, who spake with his mouth, unto David my father, —that which with his hand he hath fulfilled, saying: —
16 Na ɔka kyerɛɛ mʼagya sɛ, ‘Ɛfiri da a mede me nkurɔfoɔ Israel firi Misraim baeɛ no, mannyi kuro biara wɔ Israel mmusuakuo no mu a ɛsɛ sɛ wɔsi asɔredan, de hyɛ me din animuonyam. Nanso, seesei mayi Dawid sɛ ɔnni ɔhene wɔ me nkurɔfoɔ so.’”
Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel, out of Egypt, I had chosen no city, out of all the tribes of Israel, for building a house, where my Name might be, —but I have chosen Jerusalem, that my Name should be there, and I have chosen David, to be over my people Israel:
17 Na Salomo kaa sɛ, “Mʼagya pɛɛ sɛ anka ɔsi Asɔredan yi de hyɛ Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn din animuonyam.
And so it came to pass, that it was near the heart of David my father, —to build a house for the Name of Yahweh, God of Israel.
18 Nanso, Awurade ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ‘Ɛyɛ sɛ wopɛ sɛ wosi Asɔredan de hyɛ me din animuonyam,
Then said Yahweh unto David my father, Because it was near thy heart to build a house for my Name, thou didst well that it was near thy heart;
19 nanso ɛnyɛ wo na wobɛyɛ. Mmom, wo mmammarima no mu baako na ɔbɛsi.’
Only, thou thyself, must not build the house, —but, thine own son who hath proceeded out of thy loins, he, shall build the house, for my Name.
20 “Na seesei, Awurade ayɛ deɛ ɔhyɛɛ ho bɔ no, ɛfiri sɛ, madi adeɛ sɛ ɔhene, asi mʼagya anan mu. Masi saa Asɔredan yi de ahyɛ Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn din animuonyam.
So then Yahweh hath established his word which he spake, —and I have been raised up in the room of David my father, and have taken my seat upon the throne of Israel, as spake Yahweh, and have built the house for the Name of Yahweh, God of Israel;
21 Na masiesie baabi wɔ hɔ ama Adaka a Awurade Apam a ɔne yɛn agyanom yɛɛ wɔ ɛberɛ a ɔyii wɔn firii Misraim no.”
and have appointed there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of Yahweh, —which he solemnised with our fathers, when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt.
22 Na Salomo gyinaa hɔ, pagyaa ne nsa kyerɛɛ soro wɔ Awurade afɔrebukyia no anim wɔ Israelfoɔ no nyinaa anim.
And Solomon stood before the altar of Yahweh, in the presence of all the convocation of Israel, —and spread forth his hands towards the heavens;
23 Ɔbɔɔ mpaeɛ sɛ, “Ao, Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn, Onyame biara nni hɔ a ɔte sɛ wo wɔ ɔsoro anaa asase so. Wodi wo bɔhyɛ so, na woda wo dɔ a ɛnni awieeɛ adi kyerɛ wɔn a wɔtie wo, na wɔpɛ sɛ wɔyɛ wʼapɛdeɛ nso.
and said—O Yahweh, God of Israel! Not like thee, is there a God, in the heavens above, or upon the earth beneath, —keeping Covenant and Lovingkindness for thy servants who are walking before thee, with all their heart;
24 Wo bɔ a wohyɛɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ Dawid a ɔyɛ mʼagya no, woadi so. Wʼankasa wʼano na wode hyɛɛ bɔ no, na ɛnnɛ, wonam wʼankasa wo nsa so ama aba mu.
who hast kept for thy servant David my father, that which thou didst promise him, —in that thou didst promise with thy mouth, and, with thy hand, hast fulfilled, as it is this day.
25 “Afei, Ao Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn, ma ɛbɔ a wokɔɔ so hyɛɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ Dawid a ɔyɛ mʼagya no mmra mu. Woka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ‘Sɛ wʼasefoɔ bɔ wɔn bra yie, na wɔdi me mmara so sɛdeɛ woayɛ no a, wɔbɛdi Israel so ɔhene daa daa.’
Now, therefore, O Yahweh, God of Israel, keep thou for thy servant David my father, that which thou didst promise him, saying, There shall not be cut off to thee a man from before me, to sit upon the throne of Israel, —if only, thy sons take heed to their way, by walking before me, as thou hast walked before me.
26 Enti afei, Ao, Israel Onyankopɔn, di ɛbɔ a woahyɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ, mʼagya Dawid no so.
Now, therefore, O God of Israel, —verified be thy word, I pray thee, which thou didst speak to thy servant, David my father.
27 “Na ɛyɛ ampa sɛ Onyankopɔn bɛtena asase so? Mpo, sɛ ɔsorosoro sua ma wo a, ɛdeɛn na yɛbɛka afa Asɔredan a masi yi ho!
But, in very deed, will God dwell, upon the earth? Lo! the heaven, yea the heaven of heavens, cannot contain thee, how much less this house which I have built?
28 Tie me mpaeɛbɔ ne mʼadesrɛdeɛ, Ao, Awurade, me Onyankopɔn. Tie su a wo ɔsomfoɔ resu ne mpaeɛ a wo ɔsomfoɔ rebɔ akyerɛ wo ɛnnɛ.
Yet wilt thou turn unto the prayer of thy servant, and unto his supplication, O Yahweh my God, —to hearken unto the cry, and unto the prayer, wherewith thy servant doth pray before thee to-day;
29 Wobɛhwɛ Asɔredan yi so awia ne anadwo; saa beaeɛ a woaka sɛ wode wo din bɛto so no. Wobɛtie mpaeɛ a mebɔ wɔ beaeɛ yi daa.
that thine eye may be opened toward this house, night and day, toward the place of which thou hast said, My Name shall be, there; hearkening unto the prayer which thy servant shall offer toward this place.
30 Tie mʼahobrɛaseɛ ne nokorɛ abisadeɛ a ɛfiri me ne wo nkurɔfoɔ Israelfoɔ nkyɛn, ɛberɛ a yɛrebɔ mpaeɛ wɔ beaeɛ ha no. Aane, tie yɛn firi soro a wote hɔ no, na sɛ wote a, fa kyɛ.
Wilt, thou, therefore, hearken unto the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, whensoever they shall pray toward this place, —yea wilt, thou thyself, hear, in thine own dwelling-place, in the heavens, and, when thou hearest, then wilt thou forgive?
31 “Sɛ obi fom obi, na ɛho hia sɛ ɔka ho ntam sɛ ɔnnim ho hwee wɔ afɔrebukyia a ɛsi asɔredan mu no anim a,
When a man shall sin against his neighbour, and there shall be taken up against him an oath, to put him on oath, —and he shall come in and swear before thine altar, in this house,
32 tie firi soro, na bu wʼasomfoɔ baanu no a ɛyɛ deɛ wɔabɔ no soboɔ no ne soboɔbɔfoɔ no ntam atɛn. Deɛ ɔdi fɔ no, twe nʼaso na gyaa deɛ ɔdi bem no.
then wilt, thou thyself, hear in the heavens, and act, and judge thy servants, condemning the lawless, by setting his way upon his own head, —and justifying the righteous, by giving to him, according to his righteousness?
33 “Sɛ wɔdi wo nkurɔfoɔ Israel so, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔayɛ bɔne atia wo, na sɛ wɔdane ba wo nkyɛn, na wɔbɔ wo din frɛ wo, na wɔbɔ wo mpaeɛ wɔ Asɔredan mu ha a,
When thy people Israel are smitten before an enemy, because they have been sinning against thee, —and they turn again unto thee, and confess thy Name, and pray and make supplication unto thee, in this house,
34 ɛnneɛ, tie firi soro, na fa wɔn bɔne kyɛ wɔn, na ma wɔnsane nkɔ asase a wode maa wɔn agyanom no so.
then wilt, thou thyself, hear in the heavens, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them back unto the soil, which thou gavest unto their fathers?
35 “Sɛ ɔsoro mu ato, na osuo ntɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, wo nkurɔfoɔ ayɛ bɔne atia wo, na afei, wɔbɔ mpaeɛ wɔ Asɔredan mu ha, bɔ wo din, ka wɔn bɔne, na wɔdane firi wɔn bɔne ho, ɛfiri sɛ, woatwe wɔn aso a,
When the heavens are shut up, and there is no rain, because they have been sinning against thee, —and they shall pray toward this place, and confess thy Name, and, from their sin, shall return, because thou hast been afflicting them,
36 ɛnneɛ, tie firi soro, na fa wʼasomfoɔ, wo nkurɔfoɔ Israelfoɔ bɔne no kyɛ. Kyerɛ wɔn deɛ ɛyɛ, na ma osuo ntɔ ngu wʼasase a wode ama wo nkurɔfoɔ sɛ wɔn agyapadeɛ sononko no so.
then wilt, thou thyself, hear in the heavens and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou mayest teach them the good way, wherein they should walk, —and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given unto thy people, for an inheritance?
37 “Sɛ ɛkɔm si asase no so anaa ɔyaredɔm ba so anaa mfudeɛ nyarewa ba anaa ntutummɛ ne asa bɛgu mfudeɛ so, anaa wo nkurɔfoɔ atamfoɔ ba asase no so bɛtua wɔn nkuro a, sɛdeɛ ɔhaw no te biara no,
When there shall be, famine, in the land, when there shall be, pestilence, when there shall be, blasting, mildew locust, caterpillar, when their enemy shall besiege them in one of their own gates, —whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness;
38 na sɛ wo nkurɔfoɔ bɔ mpaeɛ wɔ wɔn haw ne awerɛhoɔ ho, na wɔpagya wɔn nsa wɔ asɔredan yi mu a,
any prayer, any supplication which, any son of earth, may have, of all thy people Israel, —who will certainly know every man the plague of his own heart, and so he shall spread abroad his hands towards this house,
39 tie firi soro, deɛ wote hɔ, na fa kyɛ. Fa biribiara a ɛyɛ ma wo nkurɔfoɔ ma wɔn, na wo nko ara na wonim onipa akoma mu.
then wilt, thou thyself, hear in the heavens, in the settled place of thine abode, and forgive and act, and give unto every man according to all his ways, whose heart thou wilt know, —for, thou thyself alone, knowest the heart of all the sons of men;
40 Na wɔbɛsuro wo, na wɔanante wʼakwan so, berɛ dodoɔ a wɔte asase a wode maa yɛn agyanom yi so no.
to the end they may revere thee, all the days which they do live, upon the face of the soil, —which thou gavest unto our fathers?
41 “Na sɛ ananafoɔ te wo nka, na wɔfiri akyirikyiri nsase so ba bɛsom wo din kɛseɛ no a,
Moreover also, unto the stranger, who is, not of thy people Israel, —but hath come in out of a far country, for the sake of thy Name, —
42 wɔbɛte wo nka, wo nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ akɛseɛ no ne wo tumi ho asɛm, na sɛ wɔbɔ mpaeɛ wɔ saa asɔredan yi mu a,
(for they will certainly hear of thy great Name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched-out arm, —and so will come in and pray towards this house),
43 tie firi soro hɔ a wote no, na yɛ wɔn abisadeɛ ma wɔn. Na ɛbɛma nnipa a wɔwɔ asase so nyinaa ahunu, na wɔasuro wo, sɛdeɛ wo ara wo nkurɔfoɔ Israelfoɔ yɛ no. Wɔn nso bɛhunu sɛ, wo din da saa Asɔredan a masi yi so.
wilt, thou thyself, hear in the heavens, the settled place of thine abode, and act, according to all for which, the stranger, shall cry unto thee, —to the end that all the peoples of the earth may truly know thy Name, so as to revere thee, like thy people Israel, and to know that, thine own Name, hath been given unto this house, which I have built?
44 “Sɛ wohyɛ wo nkurɔfoɔ ma wɔpue, kɔko tia wɔn atamfoɔ, na sɛ wɔbɔ mpaeɛ, srɛ Awurade fa saa kuro yi a woayi yi, ne saa Asɔredan a masi de wo din ato so yi ho a,
When thy people go forth to war against their enemy, whithersoever thou mayest send them, —and shall pray unto Yahweh, in the direction of the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy Name,
45 ɛnneɛ, tie wɔn mpaeɛbɔ firi soro, na yɛ wɔn abisadeɛ ma wɔn.
then wilt thou hear, in the heavens, their prayer and their supplication, —and maintain their cause?
46 “Sɛ wɔyɛ bɔne tia wo a, na hwan na ɔnyɛɛ bɔne da? Wo bo bɛfu wɔn, na woama wɔn atamfoɔ adi wɔn so, na wɔafa wɔn nnommum de wɔn akɔ ananasase a ɛwɔ akyiri anaasɛ ɛbɛn so.
When they sin against thee—for there is, no son of earth, that sinneth not, and thou shalt be angry with them, and deliver them up before an enemy, —who shall carry them away as their captives, into the land of the enemy, far or near;
47 Na saa ahɔhosase no so, wɔde ahonu sane ba wo nkyɛn, bɔ mpaeɛ sɛ, ‘Yɛayɛ bɔne; yɛayɛ amumuyɛsɛm ne atirimuɔdensɛm,’
and they come back to their right mind, in the land whither they have been taken captive, —and so turn and make supplication unto thee, in the land of their captors, saying, We have sinned and done perversely, we have been lawless;
48 Na sɛ wɔde wɔn akoma ne wɔn kra nyinaa dane ba wo nkyɛn, na wɔbɔ mpaeɛ ma asase a wode maa wɔn agyanom no ho, saa kuro a woayi ne saa Asɔredan a masi de ahyɛ wo din animuonyam yi a,
and so they turn unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, who have carried them away captive, —and pray unto thee in the direction of their own land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy Name,
49 ɛnneɛ, tie wɔn mpaeɛbɔ firi soro baabi a wote hɔ. Yɛ wɔn apɛdeɛ ma wɔn,
then wilt thou hearken in the heavens, the settled place of thine abode, unto their prayer, and unto their supplication, —and maintain their cause;
50 na fa wo nkurɔfoɔ a wɔayɛ bɔne atia wo no bɔne kyɛ wɔn. Ma wɔn nnommumfafoɔ nhunu wɔn mmɔbɔ,
and grant forgiveness to thy people, who have sinned against thee, even as to all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, —and grant them compassion before their captors, so that they may have compassion upon them;
51 ɛfiri sɛ, wɔyɛ wo nkurɔfoɔ, wʼagyapadeɛ sononko a woyii wɔn firii Misraim dadenane fononoo mu.
because, thy people and thine inheritance, they are, —whom thou didst bring forth out of Egypt, out of the midst of the smelting-pot of iron;
52 “Bue wʼani ma mʼabisadeɛ ne wo nkurɔfoɔ Israelfoɔ abisadeɛ. Ɛberɛ biara a wɔbɛsu afrɛ wo no, tie wɔn, na gye wɔn so.
that thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, —to hearken unto them, in all their crying unto thee;
53 Ɛfiri sɛ, ɛberɛ a woyii yɛn agyanom firii Misraim no, Ao, Otumfoɔ Awurade, woka kyerɛɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ Mose sɛ, woate Israel afiri aman a aka nyinaa a ɛwɔ asase yi so ho sɛ, wɔnyɛ wʼagyapadeɛ sononko.”
because, thou thyself, didst separate them unto thee, for an inheritance, out of all the peoples of the earth, —as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest forth our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord Yahweh.
54 Ɛberɛ a Salomo wiee saa mpaeɛbɔ ne nʼabisadeɛ a ɔde danee Awurade yi no, ɔgyinaa Awurade afɔrebukyia anim, baabi a na ɔtaa bu nkotodwe, na ɔpagya ne nsa kyerɛ soro.
And it came to pass, when Solomon had made an end of praying unto Yahweh all this prayer and supplication, that he arose from before the altar of Yahweh, from kneeling on his knees, with his hands outspread to the heavens;
55 Ɔgyinaa hɔ teaam, hyiraa Israelfoɔ no so sɛ,
and stood and blessed all the convocation of Israel, —with a loud voice, saying:
56 “Ayɛyie nka Awurade a wama ne nkurɔfoɔ Israelfoɔ ɔhome, sɛdeɛ ɔhyɛɛ ho bɔ no. Ɛbɔ nwanwa a ɔnam Mose so daa no adi no mu baako koraa nni hɔ a amma mu.
Blessed, be Yahweh, who hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised, —there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
57 Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn, nka yɛn ho sɛdeɛ ɔkaa yɛn agyanom ho no; ɔrennya yɛn da biara da.
Yahweh our God be with us, as he was with our fathers, —let him not leave us, nor forsake us;
58 Ɔmma yɛnya ɔpɛ a yɛde bɛyɛ nʼapɛdeɛ wɔ biribiara mu, na yɛnni mmara ne ahyɛdeɛ a ɔhyɛ de maa yɛn agyanom no nyinaa so.
but bow our heart unto himself, —to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his regulations, which he commanded our fathers.
59 Na ma ɔnkae saa nsɛm a magyina so de abɔ saa mpaeɛ wɔ Awurade anim yi daa awia ne anadwo, sɛdeɛ Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn, bɛtie me ne Israelfoɔ, na wayɛ deɛ ɛhia yɛn daa ama yɛn.
And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before Yahweh, be near unto Yahweh our God, day and night, —that he may maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel, as any need ariseth:
60 Ma nnipa a wɔwɔ asase so nyinaa nhunu sɛ Awurade yɛ Onyankopɔn, na onyame foforɔ biara nni hɔ.
To the end that all the peoples of the earth may know, that, Yahweh, is God, —there is none else.
61 Na mo a moyɛ ne nkurɔfoɔ no, nni Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn, no nokorɛ daa. Monni ne mmara ne nʼahyɛdeɛ so daa, sɛdeɛ moyɛ no ɛnnɛ yi.”
So shall your heart be sound with Yahweh our God, —to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
62 Na ɔhene no ne Israelfoɔ a wɔka ne ho no bɔɔ afɔdeɛ maa Awurade.
And, the king, and all Israel with him, were offering sacrifice before Yahweh.
63 Salomo bɔɔ asomdwoeɛ afɔdeɛ maa Awurade. Nʼafɔrebɔdeɛ no yɛ anantwie ɔpeduonu mmienu ne nnwan ɔpeha aduonu. Na ɔhene no ne Israel nyinaa daa Asɔredan no adi, de maa Awurade.
So Solomon offered as a sacrifice of peace-offerings, which he offered unto Yahweh—Oxen, two and twenty thousand, and Sheep, a hundred and twenty thousand, —Thus did, the king and all the sons of Israel, dedicate the house of Yahweh.
64 Saa ɛda no ara, ɔhene no daa Asɔredan no adihɔ no mfimfini a ɛka Awurade Asɔredan ho no adi. Ɔbɔɔ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ, atokoɔ afɔdeɛ ne asomdwoeɛ afɔdeɛ ho sradeɛ no wɔ hɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, na kɔbere mfrafraeɛ afɔrebukyia a ɛwɔ Awurade anim no sua dodo sɛ ɛbɛtumi akora afɔrebɔdeɛ bebree.
On that day, did the king hallow the middle of the court, that was before the house of Yahweh, —for he offered there the ascending-sacrifice, and the meal-offering, and the fat portions of the peace-offerings, because, the altar of bronze that was before Yahweh, was too small to receive the ascending-sacrifice and the meal-offering, and the fat portions of the peace-offerings.
65 Na Salomo ne Israel nyinaa boom, dii Dwanekɔbea Afahyɛ wɔ Awurade, wɔn Onyankopɔn, anim. Nnipadɔm no firi Lebo Hamat wɔ atifi fam kɔsi Misraim asuwa wɔ anafoɔ fam, na wɔbaeɛ. Afahyɛ yi kɔɔ so ara nnafua dunan. Emu nnanson na wɔde daa afɔrebukyia no adi, ɛnna wɔde mu nnanson nso dii Dwanekɔbea Afahyɛ no.
And Solomon made, at that time, a festival—and all Israel with him—a great convocation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the ravine of Egypt, before Yahweh our God, seven days, and seven days, —fourteen days.
66 Afahyɛ no twaam no, Salomo maa ɔmanfoɔ no kɔɔ wɔn kurom. Wɔrekɔ no nyinaa na wɔrehyira ɔhene no. Na wɔn nyinaa nyaa ahosɛpɛ ne ahotɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade ne ne ɔsomfoɔ Dawid ne Israelfoɔ adi no yie.
And on the eighth day, he sent the people away, and they blessed the king, —and departed to their homes, rejoicing and glad of heart, over all the goodness which Yahweh had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
