1 Yeinom ne apono ano ahwɛfoɔ no akuakuo: Korafoɔ mu no: yɛwɔ Kore babarima Meselemia a ɔfiri Asaf abusua mu.
To the courses of the door-keepers, pertained, —of the Korahites, Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;
2 Meselemia mmammarima yɛ: Sakaria a ɔyɛ abakan, Yediael a ɔtɔ so mmienu, Sebadia a ɔtɔ so mmiɛnsa, Yatniel a ɔtɔ so ɛnan.
and, Meshelemiah, had sons, —Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth;
3 Elam a ɔtɔ so enum, Yehohanan a ɔtɔ so nsia, ne Eliehoenai a ɔtɔ so nson.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
4 Na Obed-Edom mmammarima nso a wɔyɛ apono ano ahwɛfoɔ yɛ: Semaia a ɔyɛ abakan, Yehosabad a ɔtɔ so mmienu, Yoa a ɔtɔ so mmiɛnsa, Sakar a ɔtɔ so ɛnan, Netanel a ɔtɔ so enum,
And, Obed-edom, had sons, —Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Josh the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;
5 Amiel a ɔtɔ so nsia, Isakar a ɔtɔ so nson, ne Peuletai a ɔtɔ so nwɔtwe. Onyankopɔn hyiraa Obed-Edom bebree.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, —for God had blessed him.
6 Na Obed-Edom babarima Semaia wɔ mmammarima a wɔtumi adeɛ yɛ yie enti, wɔnyaa dibea a ɛkura tumi wɔ abusua no mu.
And, to Shemaiah his son, were born sons, who bare rule to their ancestral house, —for, heroes of valour, were they.
7 Na wɔn edin ne: Otni, Refael, Obed ne Elsabad; na wɔn abusuafoɔ Elihu ne Semakia nso yɛ mmɔdemmɔfoɔ.
the sons of Shemaiah, were Othni and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were sons of valour, —Elihu, and Semachiah.
8 Obed-Edom asefoɔ yi nyinaa a wɔn mmammarima ne wɔn nananom a na wɔn nyinaa dodoɔ yɛ aduosia mmienu no yɛ nnipa a, na wɔbɔ wɔn ho mmɔden yie na wɔfata wɔn nnwuma.
All these, were of the sons of Obed-edom, they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, —sixty-two, pertaining to Obed-edom.
9 Saa ara nso na na Meselemia mmammarima dunwɔtwe no ne wɔn abusuafoɔ nso bɔ wɔn ho mmɔden yie.
And, Meshelemiah, had sons, and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen.
10 Hosa a ɔfiri Merari abusua mu yii Simri a na ɔnyɛ abakan no sɛ ntuanoni, wɔ ne mmammarima mu.
And, Hosah of the sons of Merari, had sons, —Shimri the chief, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father, made him, chief.
11 Na ne mmammarima no bi ne: Hilkia a ɔtɔ so mmienu, Tebalia a ɔtɔ so mmiɛnsa ne Sakaria tɔ so ɛnan. Na Hosa mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ a wɔsom sɛ apono ano ahwɛfoɔ no nyinaa dodoɔ yɛ dumiɛnsa.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth, —all the sons and brethren of Hosah, were thirteen.
12 Saa apono ano ahwɛfoɔ akuo yi nam wɔn mmusua ntuanofoɔ so somm wɔ Awurade fie, sɛdeɛ wɔn abusuafoɔ yɛeɛ no.
To these, belonged the courses of door-keepers, to the chiefs of the strong men, belonged charges, equally with their brethren, —to be in attendance in the house of Yahweh.
13 Wɔnam ntontobɔ kronkron so, de ɔwɛn adwuma wɔ apono ahodoɔ ano hyɛɛ mmusua no nsa a wɔnhwɛ mfirinhyia a obi adi, anaa nteteeɛ a wanya soɔ.
Yea they cast lots, as the small so the great, by their ancestral house, for every several gate.
14 Wɔde apueeɛ ɛpono ho dwumadie no hyɛɛ Selemia ne ne ekuo nsa. Atifi ɛpono ho dwumadie nso, wɔde hyɛɛ ne babarima onyansafoɔ Sakaria nsa.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. And, for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out, northward.
15 Anafoɔ ɛpono no, wɔde hyɛɛ Obed-Edom nsa, na wɔmaa ne mmammarima no hwɛɛ adekoradan no so.
To Obed-edom, southward, —and, to his sons, the storehouse.
16 Wɔmaa Supim ne Hosa hwɛɛ atɔeɛ ɛpono no ne ɛkwan a ɛkɔ asɔredan no mu no so. Wɔkyekyɛɛ ɔwɛn nnwuma no pɛpɛɛpɛ maa wɔn.
To Shuppim and to Hosah, westward, near the refuse-gate, in the causeway that goeth up, —one ward as well as another.
17 Ɛda biara, na wɔma Lewifoɔ baasia kɔ apueeɛ ɛpono no ho, baanan kɔ atifi ɛpono no ho, baanan nso akɔ anafoɔ ɛpono no ho, na baanu baanu akokɔ adekoradan ahodoɔ no biara ho.
Eastward—daily, were six, —northward—daily, four, southward—daily, four, and, for the stores, two and two.
18 Ɛda biara, na wɔma baasia kɔ atɔeɛ ɛpono no ho. Baanan kɔ ɛkwan a ɛkɔ asɔredan no mu no so, na baanu nso akɔ adihɔ hɔ.
For the precinct—westward, four, at the causeway, two—by the precinct.
19 Yeinom ne apono ano ahwɛfoɔ a wɔfiri Kora ne Merari mmusua mu no nkyekyɛmu.
These, were the courses of the door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.
20 Lewifoɔ a wɔaka a na Ahiya da wɔn ano no na na wɔhwɛ Onyankopɔn fie sikakorabea ne adekoradan so.
And, the Levites, their brethren, were over the treasuries of the house of God, even to the treasuries of hallowed things.
21 Libni fie a na ɛwɔ Gerson abusua mu no, na Yehieli na na ɔtua wɔn ano.
The sons of Ladan—the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan—the ancestral chiefs belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli;
22 Yehieli mmammarima Setam ne ne nuabarima Yoɛl na na wɔhwɛ Awurade fie sikakorabea so.
the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother who were over the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.
23 Yeinom ne ntuanofoɔ a wɔyɛ Amram, Yishar, Hebron ne Usiel asefoɔ.
Then came certain of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites.
24 Amram abusua mu, Sebuel yɛ Mose babarima Gersom aseni. Ɔno na na ɔyɛ ɔpanin a ɔhwɛ sikakorabea no so.
And, Shebuel, son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief ruler over the treasuries.
25 Wɔn a wɔnam Elieser so yɛ nʼabusuafoɔ ne Rehabia, Yesaia, Yoram, Sikri ne Selomot.
And, his brethren pertaining to Eliezer, were Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 Selomot ne nʼabusuafoɔ na na wɔhwɛ sikakorabea a na wɔkora agyapadeɛ a wɔde ama Awurade no so. Agyapadeɛ no bi ne deɛ Dawid ne mmusua ntuanofoɔ ne asahene ne asraafoɔ mpanimfoɔ de maa Awurade no.
The same Shelomoth and his brethren, were over all the treasuries of the hallowed things, which David the king and the ancestral chiefs, with the captains of thousands and hundreds and the captains of the army, had hallowed:
27 Na saa mmarima yi de wɔn asadeɛ a wɔnyaa no akodie mu no bi baeɛ sɛ wɔmfa nsiesie Awurade fie.
out of the battles and out of the spoil, had they hallowed [them], —to strengthen [the provision] for the house of Yahweh.
28 Afei, na Selomot ne nʼabusuafoɔ na wɔhwɛ nneɛma a Samuel a ɔyɛ nkɔmhyɛni, Kis babarima Saulo, Ner babarima Abner ne Seruia babarima Yoab de maa Awurade no so. Nneɛma nkaeɛ a wɔde maa Awurade no nyinaa, na ɛhyɛ wɔn nsa.
And, all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, had hallowed, whosoever had hallowed anything, it was under the direction of Shelomoth, and his brethren.
29 Yishar abusua mu na Kenania firi. Ɔne ne mmammarima na wɔyii wɔn sɛ ɔman sohwɛfoɔ ne atemmufoɔ wɔ Israelman mu nyinaa.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons, were for the outward business over Israel, —as officers, and as judges.
30 Hebron abusua mu na Hasabia firi. Ɔne nʼabusuafoɔ a wɔyɛ mmɔdemmɔfoɔ a wɔn dodoɔ yɛ apem ahanson na wɔma wɔhwɛɛ Israel nsase a ɛdeda Asubɔnten Yordan atɔeɛ fam no so. Nsɛm a ɛfa Awurade ho, ne ɔhene a ɔwɔ mpasua no so som ho nyinaa yɛ wɔn asɛdeɛ.
Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel, across the Jordan westward, —for all the business of Yahweh, and for the service of the king.
31 Bio, Hebron abusua mu na Yeria firi. Sɛdeɛ awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ nkrataa kyerɛ no, ɔno na na ɔyɛ Hebronfoɔ no ntuanoni. (Dawid dii ɔhene no, ne mfeɛ aduanan so, wɔhwehwɛɛ nkrataa mu na wɔhunuu mmarima a wɔbɔ wɔn ho mmɔden wɔ Hebron abusua no mu din wɔ kuro Yaser a ɛwɔ Gilead mu.
Of the Hebronites, Jerijah, was chief, [he was] of the Hebronites by his generations, by his fathers, —in the fortieth year of the reign of David, were they sought out, and there were found among them heroes of valour, in Jazer of Gilead;
32 Na mmarima a wɔbɔ wɔn ho mmɔden mpem mmienu ne ahanson na na wɔwɔ Yeria abusua mu. Ɔhene Dawid ma wɔkɔɔ Asubɔnten Yordan apueeɛ fam, ma wɔkɔhwɛɛ Ruben ne Gad mmusuakuo ne Manase abusuakuo fa no so. Nsɛm a ɛfa Onyankopɔn ho, ne ɔhene som ho nyinaa yɛ wɔn asɛdeɛ.)
and, his brethren that were heroes of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred, ancestral chiefs, —so David the king gave them oversight, over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manassites, in all the affairs of God, and the affairs of the king.
