1 Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Koramma dwom. Wɔto no “alamot” sanku nne so. Onyankopɔn ne yɛn guankɔbea ne yɛn ahoɔden, amanehunu mu boafo a ɔwɔ hɔ bere biara.
“For the leader of the music. Of, or for, the sons of Korah. To be sung in the manner, or with the voice, of virgins.” God is our refuge and strength; An ever present help in trouble.
2 Enti sɛ asase ani dan butuw, na mmepɔw tutu kogu po ase a, yɛrensuro,
Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be changed; Though the mountains tremble in the heart of the sea;
3 sɛ po bɔ asorɔkye na ehuru na ɛma nkoko wosow mpo a, yɛrensuro.
Though its waters roar and be troubled, And the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. (Pause)
4 Asuten bi wɔ hɔ a ne nsuwansuwa de anigye ba Onyankopɔn kuropɔn mu, beae kronkron a Ɔsorosoroni no te.
A river with its streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling-place of the Most High.
5 Onyankopɔn te kuropɔn no mu, na ɔrenhwe ase; Onyankopɔn bɛboa no anɔpahema.
God is the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her, and that full early.
6 Amanaman yɛ hoo, na ahenni hwehwe ase; ɔma ne nne so ma asase nan.
The nations raged; kingdoms were moved; He uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 Asafo Awurade ka yɛn ho. Yakob Nyankopɔn yɛ yɛn aban.
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Pause)
8 Bra bɛhwɛ Awurade nnwuma, ɔsɛe a ɔde aba asase no so.
Come, behold the doings of the LORD; What desolations he hath made in the earth!
9 Ɔma akodi gyae kosi asase ano. Obubu agyan mu na ɔsɛe peaw; ɔde ogya hyew nkatabo.
He causeth wars to cease to the end of the earth; He hath broken the bow, and snapped the spear asunder, And burned the chariots in fire.
10 Monyɛ komm na munhu sɛ me ne Onyankopɔn; wɔbɛma me so wɔ amanaman no mu, wɔbɛma me so wɔ asase so.
“Desist, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted throughout the earth!”
11 Asafo Awurade ka yɛn ho; Yakob Nyankopɔn yɛ yɛn aban.
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.
