< Nnwom 45 >
1 Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Wɔde “lilie” sanku dwontobea na ɛtoe. Koramma dwom. Ayeforohyia dwom. Botae bi a edi mu akanyan me koma bere a merebɔ ɔhene mmran no; me tɛkrɛma yɛ ɔkyerɛwfo kunini bi kyerɛwdua.
To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue [is] the pen of a ready writer.
2 Wudi mu koraa wɔ mmarima mu na wɔde adom bi asra wʼano, esiane sɛ Onyankopɔn ahyira wo afebɔɔ no nti.
Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3 Fa wʼafoa bɔ wo nkyɛn mu, okokuroko; fa anuonyam ne kɛseyɛ fura.
Gird thy sword upon [thy] thigh, O [most] mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
4 Fa wo kɛseyɛ mu kɔ wʼanim nkonimdi so wɔ nokware, ahobrɛase ne trenee mu; ma wo nsa nifa nna wo nnwuma a ɛyɛ nwonwa no adi.
And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
5 Ma wo bɛmma nnamnam no nhwirew ɔhene atamfo koma mu; na ma amanaman nhwe wʼanan ase.
Thine arrows [are] sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; [whereby] the people fall under thee.
6 Ao Onyankopɔn, wʼahengua no bɛtena hɔ daa daa; trenee ahempema bɛyɛ wʼahenni no ahempema.
Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom [is] a right sceptre.
7 Wodɔ trenee na wukyi bɔne. Ɛno nti Onyankopɔn, wo Nyankopɔn de wo asi wo mfɛfo so, na ɔde anigye ngo asra wo.
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
8 Kurobow, pɛprɛ ne bɛwewonua hua agye wo batakari mu nyinaa; sanku so nnwom a efi ahemfi a wɔde asonse asiesie ho mu ma wʼani gye.
All thy garments [smell] of myrrh, and aloes, [and] cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
9 Ahemfo mmabea ka wo mmea atitiriw ho; wo nsa nifa so na ayeforo dehye a ɔhyɛ Ofir sikakɔkɔɔ gyina.
Kings’ daughters [were] among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
10 Ɔbabea tie, dwene ho, na yɛ osetie; ma wo werɛ mfi wo nkurɔfo ne wo papa fi.
Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;
11 Wʼahoɔfɛ asɔ ɔhene no ani; di no ni, efisɛ ɔno ne wo wura.
So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he [is] thy Lord; and worship thou him.
12 Tiro Babea de ayɛyɛde bɛba; mmarima adefo bɛdɛfɛdɛfɛ wo.
And the daughter of Tyre [shall be there] with a gift; [even] the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
13 Ɔhene babea a ɔwɔ ne pia mu no yɛ onuonyamfo wɔde sikakɔkɔɔ abobɔ nʼatade yuu mu.
The king’s daughter [is] all glorious within: her clothing [is] of wrought gold.
14 Ɔhyɛ ntade a wɔadi mu adwinni na wɔde no kɔma ɔhene; ne mfɛfo mmabun di nʼakyi na wɔde wɔn nyinaa brɛ wo.
She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
15 Wɔde ahosɛpɛw ne anigye kɔ mu; wɔhyɛn ɔhempɔn no ahemfi.
With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.
16 Wo mmabarima besi wʼagyanom anan mu wobɛyɛ wɔn mmapɔmma wɔ asase no so nyinaa.
Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
17 Mɛma wɔakae wo wɔ awo ntoatoaso nyinaa mu; ɛno nti amanaman bɛkamfo wo daa nyinaa.
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
