< Mateo 25 >

1 “Ɔsoro Ahenni te sɛ mmabaa du bi a wɔfaa wɔn akanea se wɔrekohyia ayeforokunu.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride.
2 Na mmabaa no mu baanum yɛ anyansafo na baanum nso yɛ nkwaseafo.
And five of them were foolish, and five wise.
3 Wɔn mu nkwaseafo no rekɔ no, wɔfaa wɔn akanea nanso wɔamfa ngo anka ho.
But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them:
4 Nanso wɔn mu anyansafo no de, wɔrekɔ no wɔfaa ngo kaa wɔn akanea ho kɔe.
But the wise took oil in their vessels with the lamps.
5 Ayeforokunu no amma ntɛm, enti wofii ase totɔɔ nko dedae.
And the bridegroom tarrying, they all slumbered and slept.
6 “Ɔdasu mu na wɔtee nteɛteɛmu se, ‘Ayeforokunu no reba! Mumfi adi nkohyia no!’
And at midnight there was a cry made: Behold the bridegroom cometh, go ye forth to meet him.
7 “Mmabaa yi nyinaa sɔre buebuee wɔn akanea no.
Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
8 Nkwaseafo no srɛɛ anyansafo no se, ‘Momma yɛn mo ngo no bi ngu yɛn akanea no mu na ɛredunnum.’
And the foolish said to the wise: Give us of your oil, for our lamps are gone out.
9 “Anyansafo no ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, ‘Ngo a yɛwɔ no sua. Monkɔ kurom nkɔtɔ bi.’
The wise answered, saying: Lest perhaps there be not enough for us and for you, go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 “Wɔrekɔ akɔtɔ ngo no pɛ, na ayeforokunu no bae. Enti wɔn a wɔasiesie wɔn ho no ne ayeforokunu no kɔɔ nʼaponto no ase, na wɔtoo ɔpon no mu.
Now whilst they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready, went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut.
11 “Akyiri no a baanum no san bae no, wogyinaa ɔpon no akyi frɛe se, ‘Owura, hiɛ yɛn!’
But at last come also the other virgins, saying: Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 “Nanso ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, ‘Mumfi hɔ nkɔ. Minnim mo!’
But he answering said: Amen I say to you, I know you not.
13 “Enti monwɛn na munnim da anaa dɔn ko no.
Watch ye therefore, because you know not the day nor the hour.
For even as a man going into a far country, called his servants, and delivered to them his goods;
15 Ɔmaa ɔbaako sika nkotoku anum. Ɔmaa ɔfoforo nkotoku abien na ɔfoforo, kotoku baako, sɛnea obiara ahoɔden te.
And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to every one according to his proper ability: and immediately he took his journey.
16 Nea ɔmaa no nkotoku anum no de sika no kɔyɛɛ adwuma, nyaa mfaso nkotoku anum kaa ho.
And he that had received the five talents, went his way, and traded with the same, and gained other five.
17 Saa ara na nea onyaa sika nkotoku abien no nso nyaa abien kaa ho,
And in like manner he that had received the two, gained other two.
18 Nanso nea onyaa kotoku baako no de, okotuu fam de ne wura sika no siee hɔ.
But he that had received the one, going his way digged into the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
19 “Mmere bi akyi na wɔn wura no fi akwantu mu bae ne wɔn bebuu akontaa.
But after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reckoned with them.
20 Nea onyaa sika nkotoku anum no de anum kaa ho bae. Ɔkae se, ‘Me wura, womaa me sika nkotoku anum. Hwɛ, manya anum aka ho.’
And he that had received the five talents coming, brought other five talents, saying: Lord, thou didst deliver to me five talents, behold I have gained other five over and above.
21 “Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no se, ‘Mo, akoa pa ne ɔnokwafo, woadi kakra yi ho nokware, mede wo besi nneɛma pii so panyin. Bra, na me ne wo nni dɛw!’
His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 “Akoa a ɔmaa no sika nkotoku abien no nso bae. Ɔka kyerɛɛ ne wura no se, ‘Worekɔ no, womaa me sika nkotoku abien, hwɛ, manya abien aka ho.’
And he also that had received the two talents came and said: Lord, thou deliveredst two talents to me: behold I have gained other two.
23 “Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no se, ‘Mo, akoa pa ne ɔnokwafo, woadi kakra yi ho nokware, mede wo besi nneɛma pii so panyin. Bra, wo wura anigye mu!’
His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 “Akoa a onyaa sika kotoku baako no nso bae. Ɔka kyerɛɛ ne wura no se, ‘Owura, minim sɛ woyɛ onipa a wo ho yɛ nwonwa. Wutumi twa wɔ nea wunnuae ɛ, na wutumi boaboa ano wɔ nea wompetee ɛ;
But he that had received the one talent, came and said: Lord, I know that thou art a hard man; thou reapest where thou hast not sown, and gatherest where thou hast not strewed.
25 enti misuroi, na mede wo sika no kɔhyɛɛ fam, enti wʼade ni!’
And being afraid I went and hid thy talent in the earth: behold here thou hast that which is thine.
26 “Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no se, ‘Akoa bɔne ne onihawfo! So wunim sɛ mitumi twa wɔ nea minnuae, na mitumi boaboa ano wɔ nea mempetee?
And his lord answering, said to him: Wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sow not, and gather where I have not strewed:
27 Saa de a anka ɛsɛ sɛ wode sika no kɔto sikakorabea nya nsiho to hɔ ma me.
Thou oughtest therefore to have committed my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received my own with usury.
28 “‘Munnye sika kotoku no mfi ne nsam, na momfa nkɔma nea onyaa nkotoku du no.
Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it to him that hath ten talents.
29 Obiara a ɔwɔ no, wɔde bi bɛka ho ama no anya aboro so. Na obiara a onni no, nea ɔwɔ no mpo, wobegye afi ne nsam.
For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: but from him that hath not, that also which he seemeth to have shall be taken away.
30 Na wɔatow saa akoa a ne so nni mfaso no akyene sum kabii mu; ɛhɔ na osu ne setwɛre wɔ.’”
And the unprofitable servant cast ye out into the exterior darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31 “Na sɛ Onipa Ba no ba nʼanuonyam mu a abɔfo nyinaa ka ne ho a, saa bere no na ɔbɛtena nʼanuonyam ahengua no so.
And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty.
32 Na wɔbɛboaboa aman nyinaa ano wɔ nʼanim. Na ɔbɛpaw nnipa no mu sɛnea oguanhwɛfo paw nguan fi mmirekyi mu;
And all nations shall be gathered together before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats:
33 na ɔde nguan no begyina ne nifa so, na ɔde mmirekyi no agyina ne benkum so.
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.
34 “Ɛno na Ɔhene no bɛka akyerɛ wɔn a wogyina ne nifa so no se, ‘Mo a mʼagya ahyira mo, mommra mmɛfa ahenni a wɔasiesie ama mo fi abɔde mfiase no nni!
Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 Ɔkɔm dee me, na momaa me aduan dii. Osukɔm dee me, na momaa me nsu nomee. Meyɛɛ ɔhɔho, na mode me kɔɔ mo fi.
For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in:
36 Medaa adagyaw na mufuraa me ntama. Meyaree, na mobɛsraa me. Medaa afiase, na mobɛhwɛɛ me.’
Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me.
37 “Saa bere no mu na atreneefo bebisa se, ‘Owura, da bɛn na yehuu wo sɛ ɔkɔm de wo a, yɛmaa wo aduan, na osukɔm de wo a yɛmaa wo nsu nomee?
Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 Afei da bɛn na yehuu sɛ woyɛɛ ɔhɔho, a yɛde wo kɔɔ yɛn fi, anaasɛ wodaa adagyaw a, yefuraa wo ntama?
And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and covered thee?
39 Afei da bɛn na yehuu sɛ woyaree a, yɛbɛsraa wo, anaasɛ wodaa afiase a, yɛbɛhwɛɛ wo?’
Or when did we see thee sick or in prison, and came to thee?
40 “Na Ɔhene no, bebua wɔn se, ‘Sɛ moayɛ ama me nuanom nkumaa yi mu baako yi, moayɛ ama me!’
And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.
41 “Afei mɛka akyerɛ wɔn a wogyina me benkum so no se, ‘Mo a wɔadome mo, mumfi me so nkɔ ogyatannaa a ennum da a wɔasɔ ama ɔbonsam ne nʼabɔfo no mu. (aiōnios g166)
Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels. (aiōnios g166)
42 Na ɔkɔm dee me, moamma me aduan anni, osukɔm dee me, moamma me nsu annom.
For I was hungry, and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me not to drink.
43 Meyɛɛ ɔhɔho, moamfa me ankɔ mo fi. Medaa adagyaw, moamfura me ntama. Meyaree, moammɛsra me. Medaa afiase, moammɛhwɛ me.’
I was a stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you covered me not: sick and in prison, and you did not visit me.
44 “Wɔn nso bebua no se, ‘Awurade, da bɛn na yehuu wo sɛ ɔkɔm dee wo, anaasɛ osukɔm dee wo, anaasɛ woyɛɛ ɔhɔho, anaasɛ wodaa adagyaw, anaasɛ woyaree, anaasɛ wodaa afiase, na yɛammoa wo?’
Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee?
45 “Na obebua wɔn se, ‘Sɛ moanyɛ amma nkumaa yi mu baako nti, moanyɛ amma me.’
Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me.
46 “Na wɔbɛkɔ asotwe a ɛto ntwa da mu, na atreneefo akɔ nkwa a enni awiei mu.” (aiōnios g166)
And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting. (aiōnios g166)
