Yosua 11
1 Bere a Hasorhene Yabin tee asɛm a asi no, ɔtoo ahemfo a wodidi so yi nkra denneennen: Madonhene Yobab, Simronhene ne Aksafhene;
And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,
2 ahemfo a wɔwɔ atifi fam mmepɔw so, ahemfo a wɔwɔ Yordan Bon a ɛda Galilea anafo fam; ahemfo a wɔwɔ atɔe fam nkoko so; ahemfo a wɔwɔ Nafɔt Dor atɔe fam;
And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,
3 Kanaan ahemfo a wɔwɔ apuei ne atɔe; Amorifo ahemfo ne Hetifo ahemfo ne Perisifo ahemfo ne ahemfo a wɔwɔ Yebusifo mmepɔw asase so; ne Hewifo a wɔwɔ nkurow a ɛwɔ Hermon bepɔw ase wɔ Mispa asase so.
And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is on the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.
5 Wɔbɔɔ wɔn atenae wɔ asu a ɛbɛn Merom ho sɛ wɔrebɛko atia Israel.
And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.
6 Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Yosua se, “Nsuro wɔn. Ɔkyena sesɛɛ bere mu na wɔn nyinaa atotɔ. Bubu wɔn apɔnkɔ no nan na hyew wɔn nteaseɛnam no.”
And the LORD said to Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: you shall hamstring their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
7 Na Yosua ne nʼakofo kɔɔ Merom asu no ho kɔtow hyɛɛ wɔn so mpofirim.
So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell on them.
8 Na Awurade ma wodii wɔn atamfo no so nkonim. Israelfo no taa wɔn ara kosii Sidon Kɛse ne Misrefot-Maim ho ne Mispa Bon no mu wɔ apuei fam, kosii sɛ atamfo no akofo baako mpo anka.
And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them to great Zidon, and to Misrephothmaim, and to the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.
9 Ɛnna Yosua bubuu apɔnkɔ no anan, san hyew nteaseɛnam no sɛnea Awurade hyɛɛ wɔn no.
And Joshua did to them as the LORD bade him: he hamstrung their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.
10 Yosua san nʼakyi begyee Hasor kurow no fae, kum ɛhɔ hene. (Na anka Hasor yɛ saa ahemman nkabom no nyinaa kuropɔn.)
And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.
11 Israelfo no sɛee biribiara a nkwa wɔ mu wɔ kuropɔn no so. Wɔannya ɔkra fua mpo. Na Yosua too Hasor kuropɔn no mu gya.
And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.
12 Yosua kunkum ahemfo a wɔaka no nyinaa ne wɔn manfo sɛee wɔn pasaa sɛnea Mose, Awurade somfo, hyɛe no pɛpɛɛpɛ.
And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.
13 Mmom, Yosua anhyew kuropɔn biara a esi siw so gye Hasor.
But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.
14 Na Israelfo no faa asade ne anantwi a wɔwɔ nkurow mmubui no mu nanso wokum emu nnipa no nyinaa.
And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey to themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.
15 Sɛnea Awurade hyɛɛ ne somfo Mose no, saa ara na Mose nso hyɛɛ Yosua. Na Yosua nso yɛɛ sɛnea wɔka kyerɛɛ no no, dii nea Awurade hyɛɛ Mose no nyinaa so.
As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses.
16 Enti Yosua ko gyee ɔmantam no nyinaa a ɛyɛ mmepɔw man, Negeb, Gosen asase, atɔe fam nkoko, Yordan Bon, Israel mmepɔw ne nsase tataw fae.
So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same;
17 Enti afei, Israel nsase bɛyɛɛ nea efi Halak bepɔw a ekosi Seir wɔ atifi fam toa so kɔ Baal-Gad a ɛwɔ Bepɔw Hermon ase wɔ Lebanon bon mu. Yosua kunkum nsase no so ahemfo nyinaa,
Even from the mount Halak, that goes up to Seir, even to Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.
18 wɔ mmere tenten akokoakoko mu.
Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.
19 Kurow biara nni ɔmantam yi mu a ɔne Israelfo yɛɛ asomdwoe apam gye sɛ Hewifo a wɔte Gibeon no. Wodii wɔn a aka no nyinaa so nkonim.
There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle.
20 Awurade pirim wɔn koma ma wɔko tiaa Israelfo wɔ bere a anka ɛsɛ sɛ wɔ ne wɔn yɛ asomdwoe nhyehyɛe. Enti wɔsɛee wɔn pasaa a ahummɔbɔ biara nni mu sɛnea Awurade hyɛɛ Mose no.
For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
21 Saa bere no mu, Yosua tɔree Anak asefo a na wɔte bepɔw nkurow Hebron, Debir, Anab ne bepɔw man Yuda ne Israel nyinaa ase. Okum wɔn nyinaa na ɔsɛee wɔn nkurow no pasaa.
And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.
22 Wɔn mu ɔbaako koraa anka wɔ Israel asase so, mmom, wɔn mu bi kaa Gasa, Gat ne Asdod.
There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, there remained.
23 Enti Yosua faa asase no nyinaa sɛnea Awurade hyɛɛ Mose no. Ɔde maa Israelfo sɛ wɔn agyapade sononko kyekyɛɛ mu maa mmusuakuw no. Enti awiei no asase no so dwoe.
So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said to Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.
