< 1 Mose 6 >

1 Bere a nnipa dɔɔso wɔ asase so na wɔwoo mmabea no,
When men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and daughters were born to them,
2 Onyankopɔn mmabarima no huu sɛ nnipa mmabea no ho yɛ fɛ, nti nea obiara pɛ no no, ɔfaa no waree.
God’s sons saw that men’s daughters were beautiful, and they took any that they wanted for themselves as wives.
3 Na Awurade kae se, “Me honhom rentena nnipa mu nkosi daa, efisɛ wɔyɛ ɔhonam; na wɔn nkwa nna bɛyɛ mfe ɔha aduonu.”
The LORD said, “My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years.”
4 Saa bere no, na nnipa abran wɔ asase no so. Bere a Onyankopɔn mmabarima yi kɔɔ nnipa mmabea yi ho no, wɔne wɔn wowoe. Saa nnipa yi ne kan tete nnipa atitiriw a wogyee din no.
The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when God’s sons came in to men’s daughters and had children with them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
5 Awurade Nyankopɔn huu sɛ adesamma amumɔyɛ adɔɔso wɔ asase so, na nnipa nsusuwii nyinaa yɛ bɔne nko ara.
The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.
6 Awurade Nyankopɔn nuu ne ho sɛ ɔbɔɔ wɔn bɛtenaa asase so. Saa bɔne no yɛɛ Awurade Nyankopɔn awerɛhow.
The LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.
7 Awurade kae se, “Mɛpepa nnipa a mabɔ wɔn no afi asase so; mmoa ne mmoa a wɔwea asase so ne wim nnomaa, efisɛ manu me ho sɛ mebɔɔ wɔn.”
The LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the surface of the ground—man, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky—for I am sorry that I have made them.”
8 Nanso Noa de, onyaa adom Awurade anim.
But Noah found favor in the LORD’s eyes.
9 Noa awo ntoatoaso ni. Na Noa yɛ onipa ɔtreneeni a ne ho nni asɛm wɔ ne bere sofo no mu. Ɔyɛɛ Onyankopɔn apɛde.
This is the history of the generations of Noah: Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah walked with God.
10 Noa woo mmabarima baasa na wɔn din de Sem, Ham ne Yafet.
Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11 Na bɔne ahyɛ asase so ma a, amumɔyɛsɛm adɔɔso.
The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 Onyankopɔn huu saa bɔne yi nyinaa wɔ asase so, huu awurukasɛm ne amumɔyɛsɛm wɔ mmaa nyinaa nso.
God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.
13 Enti Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ Noa se, “Esiane sɛ nnipa ama basabasa aba asase so nti, mɛsɛe nnipa ne asase a wɔte so no nyinaa.
God said to Noah, “I will bring an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them and the earth.
14 Fa ɔwawa dua yɛ adaka. Yɛ adan wɔ Adaka no mu, na fa ama ka mu ne akyi nyinaa.
Make a ship of gopher wood. You shall make rooms in the ship, and shall seal it inside and outside with pitch.
This is how you shall make it. The length of the ship shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.
16 Bɔ adaka no so. Ma ne sorokɔ nyɛ bɛyɛ sɛ nsateaa dunwɔtwe. Fa ɔpon to adaka no nkyɛn, na yɛ nsɛmso abiɛsa; nea edi kan, nea ɛda ntam ne nea ɛwɔ soro.
You shall make a roof in the ship, and you shall finish it to a cubit upward. You shall set the door of the ship in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third levels.
17 Tie! Mede nsuyiri rebɛkata asase so nyinaa, na mede asɛe abɔde a nkwa wɔ mu; biribiara a nkwa wɔ mu no, ne nyinaa bewuwu.
I, even I, will bring the flood of waters on this earth, to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.
18 Na wo de, me ne wo bɛyɛ apam; na wo, wo mmabarima, wo yere ne wo mmabarima yerenom nyinaa ne wo bɛba Adaka no mu.
But I will establish my covenant with you. You shall come into the ship, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.
19 Ɛsɛ sɛ wode abɔde a nkwa wɔ mu nyinaa, abien abien a ɛyɛ onini ne ɔbere, a wo ne wɔn bɛtena adaka no mu nsuyiri bere no a wonnwuwu.
Of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ship, to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.
20 Nnomaa ahorow biara abien, mmoa biara abien, ne abɔde biara a ɛwea asase so abien bɛba wo nkyɛn, na woahwɛ wɔn, na wɔanwuwu.
Of the birds after their kind, of the livestock after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every sort will come to you, to keep them alive.
21 Afei, fa nnuan ahorow a wodi na kora. Ɛno na ɛbɛyɛ wo ne wɔn nnuan a mubedi.”
Take with you some of all food that is eaten, and gather it to yourself; and it will be for food for you, and for them.”
22 Noa yɛɛ biribiara pɛpɛɛpɛ, sɛnea Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ ɔnyɛ no.
Thus Noah did. He did all that God commanded him.
