1 Na wɔde Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no kosii ntamadan sononko bi a Dawid asiesie mu, na wɔbɔɔ ɔhyew afɔre ne asomdwoe afɔre wɔ Onyankopɔn anim.
They brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had set up for it: and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.
2 Dawid wiee no, ohyiraa nkurɔfo no wɔ Awurade din mu.
When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
3 Na ɔkyɛɛ Israelfo mmea ne mmarima nyinaa aduan. Obiara nyaa brodo mua, namkum ne bobe aba ɔfam.
He dealt to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.
4 Dawid yii saa Lewifo yi sɛ wonni nnipa no anim wɔ ɔsom mu, wɔ Awurade Apam Adaka no anim, na wɔmfa so nsrɛ ne nhyira, na wɔnna Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn ase na wɔnkamfo no.
He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Israel:
5 Asaf a na ɔda kuw yi ano no bɔɔ kyɛnkyɛn no. Na nʼabediakyirifo yɛ Sakaria a ɔto so abien, afei Yeiel, Semiramot, Yehiel, Matitia, Eliab, Benaia, Obed-Edom ne Yahasiel. Wɔn na wɔbɔɔ mmɛnta ne asankuten.
Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
6 Na Asɔfo Benaia ne Yahasiel taa bɔ ntorobɛnto wɔ Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no anim.
and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Saa da no, Dawid de saa aseda dwom a ɔde ma Awurade yi maa Asaf ne ne mfɛfo Lewifo:
Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to the LORD, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.
8 Da Awurade ase na da ne kɛseyɛ adi. Ma wiase nyinaa nhu nea wayɛ.
Oh give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples.
9 Monto dwom mma no, monto ayeyi dwom mma no; monka nʼanwonwade no nyinaa.
Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.
10 Monhoahoa mo ho wɔ ne din kronkron mu; momma wɔn a wɔhwehwɛ Awurade no nnya koma mu anigye.
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
11 Momma mo ani nna Awurade ne nʼahoɔden so; na monhwehwɛ nʼanim bere biara.
Seek the LORD and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
12 Monkae anwonwade a wayɛ, ne nsɛnkyerɛnne ne atɛn a obui.
Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
13 Mo Israelmma, Onyankopɔn somfo, Yakob mma a wapaw wɔn.
you offspring of Israel his servant, you descendants of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 Ɔyɛ Awurade, yɛn Nyankopɔn; nʼahenni da adi wɔ asase so nyinaa.
He is the LORD our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
15 Ɔkae nʼapam daa nyinaa, asɛm a ɔhyɛ maa awo ntoantoaso apem no.
Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
16 Eyi ne apam a ɔne Abraham yɛe ne ntam a ɔka kyerɛɛ Isak.
the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.
17 Ɔhyɛɛ mu den maa Yakob sɛ mmara, de maa Israel sɛ apam a ɛbɛtena hɔ afebɔɔ;
He confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 “Mede Kanaan asase no bɛma wo sɛ kyɛfa a ɛbɛyɛ wʼagyapade.”
saying, "I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,"
19 Ɔkaa eyi bere a na wɔnnɔɔso, ahɔhokuw ketewa bi a wɔwɔ Kanaan.
when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners were in it.
20 Wofii aman so kɔɔ aman so, fii ahemman mu kɔɔ ahemman mu.
They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
21 Nanso wamma obi anhyɛ wɔn so; wɔn nti, ɔkaa ahene anim se;
He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22 “Mommfa mo nsa nka wɔn a masra wɔn ngo, na monnyɛ mʼadiyifo bɔne bi.”
"Do not touch my anointed ones. Do my prophets no harm."
23 Momma asase nyinaa nto dwom mma Awurade! Da biara, mompae mu nka asɛmpa no sɛ ogye nkwa.
Sing to the LORD, all the earth. Display his salvation from day to day.
24 Mommɔ nʼanuonyam nneyɛe ho dawuru wɔ amanaman mu. Monka anwonwade a ɔyɛ nkyerɛ obiara.
Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.
25 Awurade yɛ ɔkɛse! Na nkamfo fata no! Ɛsɛ sɛ wosuro no sen anyame nyinaa.
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.
26 Aman so anyame nyinaa yɛ ahoni bi kwa, nanso Awurade na ɔbɔɔ ɔsoro!
For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
27 Anuonyam ne tumi atwa ne ho ahyia, ahoɔden ne ahoɔfɛ wɔ nʼatenae.
Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Momfa mma Awurade, Amanaman mmusuakuw, momfa anuonyam ne tumi mma Awurade.
Ascribe to the LORD, you relatives of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
29 Momfa anuonyam a ɛfata mma Awurade! Momfa mo afɔrebɔde mmra mmɛsom no. Monsɔre Awurade wɔ ne hyerɛn kronkron nyinaa mu.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship the LORD in holy array.
30 Momma asase nyinaa mpopo wɔ nʼanim. Wɔatim wiase dennen a entumi nhinhim.
Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can't be moved.
31 Momma ɔsoro ani nnye na asase nsɛpɛw ne ho! Momma aman nyinaa nte sɛ, Awurade yɛ ɔhene.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns."
32 Momma ɛpo ne nea ɛwɔ mu nyinaa nteɛ mu nkamfo no. Momma mfuw ne wɔn nnɔbae mfa ahosɛpɛw mpue.
Let the sea roar, and its fullness. Let the field exult, and all that is in it.
33 Momma kwae nnua nnyigyei nyɛ ayeyi Awurade anim! Efisɛ ɔrebebu asase atɛn.
Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth.
34 Monna Awurade ase, efisɛ oye na nʼadɔe wɔ hɔ daa.
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
Say, "Save us, God of our salvation. Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise."
36 Ayeyi nka Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn, emfi mmeresanten nkosi nnasanten. Na nnipa no nyinaa gyee so se, “Amen!” Na wɔkamfoo Awurade.
Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. And all the people said, "Amen," and praised the LORD.
37 Dawid hyehyɛ maa Asaf ne ne mfɛfo Lewifo no sɛ wɔnsom daa wɔ Awurade Apam Adaka no anim, na wɔnyɛ nea ehia sɛ wɔyɛ no da biara.
So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;
38 Saa kuw yi mu nnipa ne Obed-Edom (a ɔyɛ Yedutun babarima no), Hosa ne Lewifo aduosia awotwe a wɔyɛ apon ano hwɛfo.
and Obed-Edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
39 Dawid de ɔsɔfo Sadok ne ne mfɛfo asɔfo tenaa Awurade Ahyiae Ntamadan a ɛwɔ bepɔw Gibeon no, sɛ wɔnsom wɔ Awurade anim wɔ hɔ.
and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40 Anɔpa ne anwummere biara, wɔbɔ ɔhyew afɔre wɔ afɔremuka a wɔayi asi hɔ ama saa dwumadi no so. Na wodii biribiara a wɔakyerɛw sɛ Awurade mmara a ɔde ama Israel no so.
to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded to Israel;
41 Dawid san yii Heman, Yedutun ne afoforo bi a wɔbobɔɔ wɔn din, yiyii wɔn no sɛ wɔnna Awurade ase “Na nʼadɔe no tim hɔ daa.”
and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his loving kindness endures forever;
42 Heman ne Yedutun bɔɔ wɔn ntorobɛnto, kyɛnkyɛn ne nnwontode ahorow de gyigyee ayeyi nnwom a wɔto maa Onyankopɔn no ho. Na woyii Yedutun mmabarima ma wɔyɛɛ apon ano hwɛfo.
and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
43 Na nnipa no nyinaa san kɔɔ wɔn afi mu. Dawid nso san kɔɔ ne fi, kohyiraa ne fifo.
All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
