Ninalowaambieni ninyi katika giza, lisemeni katika mwanga; na jambo mlilosikia likinong'onezwa, litangazeni hadharani.
28 Pea ʻoua naʻa manavahē kiate kinautolu ʻoku tāmateʻi ʻae sino, ka ʻoku ʻikai faʻa tāmateʻi ʻae laumālie: kae manavahē muʻa kiate ia ʻoku mafai ke fakaʻauha ʻae laumālie mo e sino ʻi heli. (Geenna g1067)

29 ‌ʻIkai ʻoku fakatau ʻae hikiʻi manupuna ʻe ua ʻaki ʻae paʻanga siʻi ʻe taha? Ka ʻe ʻikai haʻana taha ʻe tō ki he kelekele ka ʻi [he loto ʻo ]hoʻomou Tamai.
Shomoro wawili huuzwa kwa senti tano. Lakini hata mmoja wao haanguki chini bila kibali cha Baba yenu.

32 “Pea ko ia ia ʻe fakahā au ʻi he ʻao ʻoe kakai, te u fakahā foki ia ʻi he ʻao ʻo ʻeku Tamai ʻoku ʻi he langi.
“Kila mtu anayekiri hadharani kwamba yeye ni wangu, mimi pia nitamkiri mbele ya Baba yangu aliye mbinguni.
33 Ka ko ia te ne liʻaki au ʻi he ʻao ʻoe kakai, te u liʻaki foki ia ʻi he ʻao ʻo ʻeku Tamai ʻoku ʻi he langi.
Lakini yeyote atakayenikana hadharani, nami nitamkana mbele ya Baba yangu aliye mbinguni.
34 “ʻOua naʻa mou mahalo kuo u haʻu ke ʻomi ʻae melino ki māmani: naʻe ʻikai te u haʻu ke ʻomi ʻae melino, ka ko e heletā.
“Msidhani kwamba nimekuja kuleta amani duniani. Sikuja kuleta amani bali upanga.
35 He kuo u haʻu ke ‘fakafehiʻa ʻae tangata ki heʻene tamai, mo e taʻahine ki heʻene faʻē, mo e taʻahine ʻi he fono ki heʻene faʻē ʻi he fono.’
Maana nimekuja kuleta mafarakano kati ya mtu na baba yake, kati ya binti na mama yake, kati ya mkwe na mkwe wake.
36 Pea ‘ko e fili ʻoe tangata ʻakinautolu ʻoku nofo mo ia ʻi hono fale.’
Na maadui wa mtu ni watu wa nyumbani mwake.
37 Ko ia ʻoku ʻofa lahi hake ki he tamai pe ko e faʻē ʻiate au, ʻoku ʻikai taau mo ia ke ne maʻu au: pea ko ia ʻoku ʻofa lahi hake ki [hono ]foha pe ʻofefine ʻiate au, ʻoku ʻikai taau mo ia ke ne maʻu au.
“Ampendaye baba au mama yake kuliko anipendavyo mimi, hanistahili. Ampendaye mwana au binti kuliko mimi, hanistahili.
38 Pea ko ia ʻoku ʻikai toʻo hake ʻene ʻakau māfasia ʻo muimui ʻiate au, ʻoku ʻikai taau mo ia ke ne maʻu au.
Mtu asiyechukua msalaba wake na kunifuata, hanistahili.
39 Ko ia ʻoku kalofaki ʻene moʻui, ʻe mole ia ʻiate ia: ka ko ia ʻoku mole ʻene moʻui koeʻuhi ko au, ʻe maʻu ʻe ia ia.
Anayeyashikilia maisha yake, atayapoteza; lakini anayeyapoteza maisha yake kwa ajili yangu, atayapata.
40 “Ko ia ʻoku ne maʻu ʻakimoutolu ʻoku ne maʻu au, pea ko ia ʻoku ne maʻu au ʻoku ne maʻu ʻaia naʻa ne fekau au.
“Anayewakaribisha ninyi, ananikaribisha mimi; na anayenikaribisha mimi, anamkaribisha yule aliyenituma.
41 Ko ia ʻoku ne maʻu ha palōfita ʻi he hingoa ʻoe palōfita, ʻe maʻu ʻe ia ʻae totongi ʻoe palōfita; pea ko ia ʻoku ne maʻu ʻae tangata māʻoniʻoni ʻi he hingoa ʻoe tangata māʻoniʻoni, ʻe maʻu ʻe ia ʻae totongi ʻoe tangata māʻoniʻoni.
Anayemkaribisha nabii kwa sababu ni nabii, atapokea tuzo la nabii. Anayemkaribisha mtu mwema kwa sababu ni mtu mwema, atapokea tuzo la mtu mwema.
42 Pea ko ia te ne foaki ki ha taha ʻiate kinautolu ni ʻoku siʻi ha ipu vai momoko ke inu ai, ʻi he hingoa pe ʻoe ākonga, ko ʻeku tala moʻoni atu kiate kimoutolu, ʻe ʻikai ʻaupito mole ʻiate ia hono totongi.”
Kweli nawaambieni, yeyote atakayempa mmojawapo wa wadogo hawa kikombe cha maji baridi kwa sababu ni mfuasi wangu, hatakosa kamwe kupata tuzo lake.”
