And he sygthed in his sprete and sayde: why doth this generacion seke a signe? Verely I saye vnto you ther shall no signe be geven vnto this generacion.
13 Pea ʻalu ia ʻiate kinautolu, ʻo toe heka vaka, mo ʻalu ki he kauvai ʻe taha.
And he lefte the and went into the ship agayne and departed over the water.
14 Pea kuo ngalo[ʻi he kau ākonga ]ke ʻave ha mā, pea ko e foʻi mā pe taha naʻe ʻi he vaka mo kinautolu.
And they had forgotte to take breed wt the nether had they in the ship with them more then one loofe.

And he charged the sayinge. Take hede and beware of ye leven of ye pharises and of ye leve of Herode.

And they reasoned amonge the selves sayinge: we have no breed
17 Pea kuo ʻilo ia ʻe Sisu, pea pehē ʻe [ia ]kiate kinautolu, “Ko e hā ʻoku mou alea ai, ʻi he ʻikai haʻamou mā? ʻOku teʻeki ai te mou mamata, pe ʻilo? ʻOku kei fefeka homou loto?
And whe Iesus knewe yt he sayde vnto the: why take ye thought because ye have no bread? perceave ye not yet nether vnderstonde? Have ye youre hertes yet blynded?
18 ‌ʻOku mou mata, kae ʻikai te mou mamata? Pea telinga, kae ʻikai ongoʻi? Pea ʻoku ʻikai te mou manatu?
Have ye eyes and se not? and have ye eares and heare not? Do ye not remember?
19 ‌ʻI heʻeku tofitofi ʻae foʻi mā ʻe nima ki he toko nima afe, naʻe fiha ʻae kato naʻe pito ʻi he toenga ne mou ʻave?” Pea nau pehē kiate ia, “E hongofulu ma ua.”

When I brake. vii. amonge. iiii. M. How many basketes of the levinges of broken meate toke ye vp? they sayde. vii.
21 Pea pehē ʻe ia kiate kinautolu, “Ko e hā nai ʻoku ʻikai ai te mou ʻilo?”
And he sayde vnto the: how is it yt ye vnderstonde not?
22 Pea haʻu ia ki Petesaita: pea naʻa nau ʻomi kiate ia ʻae tangata kui, ʻonau kole kiate ia ke ne ala ki ai.
And he came to Bethsaida and they brought a blynde man vnto him and desyred him to touche him.
23 Pea puke ʻe ia ʻae nima ʻoe tangata kui, ʻo tataki ia kituʻa mei he potu kakai; pea kuo ne ʻaʻanu ki hono mata, mo ʻai hono nima kiate ia, pea ne fehuʻi kiate ia, pe ʻoku ne mamata ki ha meʻa.
And he caught the blynde by the honde and leade him out of the toune and spat in his eyes and put his hondes apon him and axed him whether he saw ought.
24 Pea hanga hake ia, ʻo ne pehē, “ʻOku ou mamata ki he kakai ʻoku hangē ko e ngaahi ʻakau, ʻoku ʻeveʻeva.”
And he loked vp and sayde: I se ye men: For I se the walke as they were trees.
25 Pea hili ia, pea ne toe ʻai hono nima ki hono mata, pea fekau kiate ia ke ne hanga hake: pea naʻe moʻui ia, ʻo ne mamata totonu ki he kakai kotoa pē.
After that he put his hondes agayne apon his eyes and made him see. And he was restored to his sight and sawe every ma clerly.
26 Pea ne fekau ia ki hono fale, mo ne pehē, “ʻOua naʻa ke ʻalu ki he potu kakai, pe tala [ia ]ki ha taha ʻi he potu kakai.”
And he sent him home to his housse sayinge: nether goo into the toune nor tell it to eny in the toune.
27 Pea ʻalu atu ʻa Sisu, mo ʻene kau ākonga, ki he ngaahi potu kakai ʻo Sesalia ʻi Filipai: pea fehuʻi ʻe ia ki heʻene kau ākonga ʻi he hala, ʻo ne pehē kiate kinautolu, “ʻOku pehē ʻe he kakai pe ko hai au?”
And Iesus went out and his disciples into the tounes that longe to the cite called Cesarea Philippi. Aud by the waye he axed his disciples sayinge: whom do men saye yt I am?
28 Pea nau pehēange, “Ko Sione ko e Papitaiso: kae[pehē ]ʻe he niʻihi, ko ʻIlaisiā; pea [pehē ]ʻe he niʻihi, ko e taha ʻoe kau palōfita.”
And they answered: some saye that thou arte Iohn Baptiste: some saye Helyas: and some one of the Prophetes.
29 Pea pehē ʻe ia kiate kinautolu, “Ka ʻoku pehē ʻekimoutolu ko hai au?” Pea lea ʻa Pita, ʻo pehēange kiate ia, “Ko koe, ko e Kalaisi.”
And he sayde vnto the: But whom saye ye that I am? Peter answered and sayd vnto him: Thou arte very Christe.
30 Pea fekau ʻe ia kiate kinautolu ke ʻoua naʻa nau fakahā ia ki ha taha.
And he charged them that they shuld tell no man of it.
31 Pea kamata fakahā ʻe ia kiate kinautolu, “ʻAe kātaki ʻe he Foha ʻoe tangata ʻae ngaahi meʻa lahi, pea siʻaki ia ʻe he mātuʻa, mo e kau taulaʻeiki lahi, mo e kau tangata tohi, pea ʻe tāmateʻi ia, pea hili ʻae ʻaho ʻe tolu ʻe toe tuʻu.”
And he beganne to teache them how that the sonne of man must suffre many thinges and shuld be reproved of the elders and of the hye prestes and scribes and be kylled and after thre dayes aryse agayne.
32 Pea naʻa ne lea ʻilongofua ʻaki ʻae lea ko ia. Pea ʻave ia ʻe Pita, ʻo ne kamata valokiʻi ia.
And he spake that sayinge openly. And Peter toke him asyde and began to chyde him.

Then he tourned aboute and looked on his disciples and rebuked Peter sayinge: Goo after me Satan. For thou saverest not ye thinges of God but the thinges of men.
34 Pea kuo ui ʻe ia ʻae kakai mo ʻene kau ākonga foki, pea ne pehē kiate kinautolu, “Ko ia ia ʻoku loto ke muimui ʻiate au, ke ne siʻaki ʻe ia ia, kae toʻo ʻene kavenga, ʻo muimui ʻiate au.
And he called the people vnto him with his disciples also and sayd vnto them: Whosoever will folowe me let him forsake him sylfe and take vp his crosse and folowe me.
35 He ko ia ia ʻoku loto ke kalofaki ʻene moʻui, ʻe mole ia: ka ko ia ia ʻe mole ʻene moʻui koeʻuhi ko au mo e ongoongolelei, ʻe maʻu ʻe ia ia.
For whosoever will save his lyfe shall lose it But whosoever shall lose his lyfe for my sake and ye gospels ye same shall save it.
36 He ko e hā hono ʻaonga ki ha tangata, ʻo kapau ʻe maʻu ʻe ia ʻa māmani kotoa pē, kae mole hono laumālie ʻoʻona?
What shall it profet a ma yf he shuld wynne all ye worlde and loose his awne soule?
37 Pe ko e hā ʻe foaki ʻe ha tangata ke fetongi ʻaki hono laumālie?
or els what shall a ma geve to redeme his soule agayne?
38 Ko ia ia ʻe mā kiate au, mo ʻeku ngaahi lea, ʻi he toʻutangata feʻauaki mo angahala ni, ʻe ma foki ʻae Foha ʻoe tangata ʻiate ia, ʻoka haʻu ia ʻi he nāunau ʻo ʻene Tamai, mo e kau ʻāngelo māʻoniʻoni.”
Whosoever therfore shall be asshamed of me and of my wordes amonge this advoutrous and sinfull generacion: of him shall the sonne of man be ashamed when he cometh in the glory of his father wt the holy angels.
