యోహాను 7
1 ౧ ఆ తరువాత యేసు గలిలయకు వెళ్ళి అక్కడే సంచరిస్తూ ఉన్నాడు. ఎందుకంటే యూదయలో యూదులు ఆయనను చంపాలని వెతుకుతూ ఉండటంతో అక్కడ సంచరించడానికి ఆయన ఇష్టపడలేదు.
After these things, Yeshua was walking in Galil, for he would not walk in Judea, because the Jewish leaders sought to kill him.
Now the Jewish festival, the Feast of Tabernacles, was near.
3 ౩ అప్పుడు ఆయన తమ్ముళ్ళు ఆయనతో, “నువ్వు చేసే కార్యాలు నీ శిష్యులు చూడాలి కదా. అందుకే ఈ స్థలం వదిలి యూదయకు వెళ్ళు.
So his brothers said to him, "Depart from here, and go into Judea, that your talmidim also may see your works that you are doing.
4 ౪ అందరూ మెచ్చుకోవాలని చూసేవాడు తన పనులు రహస్యంగా చేయడు. నువ్వు నిజంగా ఈ కార్యాలు చేస్తున్నట్టయితే లోకమంతటికీ తెలిసేలా చెయ్యి. నిన్ను నువ్వే చూపించుకో” అన్నారు.
For no one does anything in secret when he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world."
For even his brothers did not believe in him.
Yeshua therefore said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.
7 ౭ లోకం మిమ్మల్ని ద్వేషించదు. కానీ దాని పనులన్నీ చెడ్డవని నేను సాక్ష్యం చెబుతున్నాను కాబట్టి అది నన్ను ద్వేషిస్తూ ఉంది.
The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.
8 ౮ మీరు పండక్కి వెళ్ళండి. నా సమయం ఇంకా సంపూర్ణం కాలేదు. కాబట్టి నేను ఈ పండక్కి ఇప్పుడే వెళ్ళను” అని వారితో చెప్పాడు.
You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled."
After he had said this, he stayed in Galil.
But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.
The Jewish leaders therefore sought him at the feast, and said, "Where is he?"
12 ౧౨ ప్రజల మధ్య ఆయనను గురించి పెద్ద వాదం ప్రారంభమైంది. కొందరేమో, “ఆయన మంచివాడు” అన్నారు. మరికొందరు, “కాదు. ఆయన మోసగాడు” అన్నారు.
There was much murmuring among the crowds concerning him. Some said, "He is a good man." But others said, "Not so, but he leads the crowd astray."
Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Jewish leaders.
But when it was now the midst of the feast, Yeshua went up into the temple and taught.
15 ౧౫ ఆయన ఉపదేశానికి యూదులు ఆశ్చర్యపడి, “చదువూ సంధ్యా లేని వాడికి ఇంత పాండిత్యం ఎలా కలిగింది” అని చెప్పుకున్నారు.
Then the Jewish leaders were astonished, saying, "How does this man know such writings, having never been educated?"
Yeshua therefore answered them, "My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.
17 ౧౭ దేవుని ఇష్టప్రకారం చేయాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నవాడు నేను చేసే ఉపదేశం దేవుని వలన కలిగిందో లేక నా స్వంత ఉపదేశమో తెలుసుకుంటాడు.
If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself.
18 ౧౮ తనంతట తానే బోధించేవాడు సొంత గౌరవం కోసం పాకులాడతాడు. తనను పంపిన వాని గౌరవం కోసం తాపత్రయ పడేవాడు సత్యవంతుడు. ఆయనలో ఎలాంటి దుర్నీతీ ఉండదు.
He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
19 ౧౯ మోషే మీకు ధర్మశాస్త్రం ఇచ్చాడు కదా! కానీ మీలో ఎవరూ ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని అనుసరించి జీవించరు. మీరు నన్ను చంపాలని ఎందుకు చూస్తున్నారు?” అన్నాడు.
Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you keeps the Law? Why do you seek to kill me?"
The crowd answered, "You have a demon. Who seeks to kill you?"
Yeshua answered them, "I did one work, and you are all amazed.
22 ౨౨ మోషే మీకు సున్నతి అనే ఆచారాన్ని నియమించాడు. ఈ ఆచారం మోషే వల్ల కలిగింది కాదు. ఇది పూర్వీకుల వల్ల కలిగింది. అయినా విశ్రాంతి దినాన మీరు సున్నతి కార్యక్రమం చేస్తున్నారు.
Moses has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a boy.
23 ౨౩ విశ్రాంతి దినాన సున్నతి పొందినా మోషే ధర్మ శాస్త్రాన్ని అతిక్రమించినట్టు కాదు గదా! అలాంటప్పుడు నేను విశ్రాంతి దినాన ఒక వ్యక్తిని బాగు చేస్తే నా మీద ఎందుకు కోపం చూపుతున్నారు?
If a boy receives circumcision on the Sabbath, that the Law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me, because I made a man completely healthy on the Sabbath?
Do not judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
Therefore some of them of Jerusalem said, "Is not this he whom they seek to kill?
26 ౨౬ చూడండి, ఈయన బహిరంగంగా మాట్లాడుతున్నా ఈయనను ఏమీ అనరు. ఈయనే క్రీస్తని అధికారులకి తెలిసి పోయిందా ఏమిటి?
Look, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is the Messiah?
27 ౨౭ అయినా ఈయన ఎక్కడి వాడో మనకు తెలుసు. క్రీస్తు వచ్చినప్పుడైతే ఆయన ఎక్కడి వాడో ఎవరికీ తెలియదు” అని చెప్పుకున్నారు.
However we know where this man comes from, but when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he comes from."
28 ౨౮ కాబట్టి యేసు దేవాలయంలో ఉపదేశిస్తూ, “మీకు నేను తెలుసు. నేను ఎక్కడ నుండి వచ్చానో కూడా మీకు తెలుసు. నేను నా స్వంతంగా ఏమీ రాలేదు. నన్ను పంపినవాడు సత్యవంతుడు. ఆయన మీకు తెలియదు.
Yeshua therefore called out in the temple, teaching and saying, "You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you do not know.
29 ౨౯ నేను ఆయన దగ్గర నుండి వచ్చాను. ఆయనే నన్ను పంపాడు కాబట్టి నాకు ఆయన తెలుసు” అని గొంతెత్తి చెప్పాడు.
I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me."
30 ౩౦ దానికి వారు ఆయనను పట్టుకోడానికి ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. కానీ ఆయన సమయం ఇంకా రాలేదు. కాబట్టి ఎవరూ ఆయనను పట్టుకోలేకపోయారు.
They sought therefore to take him; but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.
31 ౩౧ ప్రజల్లో అనేక మంది ఆయనలో విశ్వాసముంచారు. “క్రీస్తు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఇంతకంటే గొప్ప కార్యాలు చేస్తాడా ఏమిటి” అని వారు చెప్పుకున్నారు.
But many in the crowd believed in him. They said, "When the Messiah comes, he won't do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?"
32 ౩౨ ప్రజలు ఆయనను గురించి ఇలా మాట్లాడుకోవడం పరిసయ్యుల దృష్టికి వెళ్ళింది. అప్పుడు ప్రధాన యాజకులూ, పరిసయ్యులూ ఆయనను పట్టుకోడానికి సైనికులను పంపించారు.
The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning him, and the chief cohanim and the Pharisees sent officers to arrest him.
33 ౩౩ యేసు మాట్లాడుతూ, “నేను ఇంకా కొంత కాలం మాత్రమే మీతో ఉంటాను. ఆ తరువాత నన్ను పంపినవాడి దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళిపోతాను.
Then Yeshua said, "I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.
34 ౩౪ అప్పుడు మీరు నన్ను వెతుకుతారు. కానీ నేను మీకు కనిపించను. నేను ఉండే చోటికి మీరు రాలేరు” అన్నాడు.
You will seek me, but won't find; and where I am, you cannot come."
35 ౩౫ దానికి యూదులు, “మనకు కనిపించకుండా ఈయన ఎక్కడికి వెళ్తాడు? గ్రీసు దేశం వెళ్ళి అక్కడ చెదరి ఉన్న యూదులకు, గ్రీకు వారికి ఉపదేశం చేస్తాడా?
The Jewish leaders therefore said among themselves, "Where will this man go that we won't find him? Will he go to the Diaspora among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?
36 ౩౬ ‘నన్ను వెతుకుతారు. కానీ నేను మీకు కనిపించను. నేను ఉండే చోటికి మీరు రాలేరు’ అన్న మాటలకి అర్థం ఏమిటో” అంటూ తమలో తాము చెప్పుకుంటూ ఉన్నారు.
What is this word that he said, 'You will seek me, but won't find; and where I am, you cannot come'?"
37 ౩౭ ఆ పండగలో మహాదినమైన చివరి దినాన యేసు నిలబడి, “ఎవరికైనా దాహం వేస్తే నా దగ్గరికి వచ్చి దాహం తీర్చుకోవాలి.
Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Yeshua stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.
38 ౩౮ లేఖనాలు చెబుతున్నాయి, నాపై విశ్వాసముంచే వాడి కడుపులో నుండి జీవజల నదులు ప్రవహిస్తాయి” అని బిగ్గరగా చెప్పాడు.
He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water."
39 ౩౯ తనపై నమ్మకం ఉంచేవారు పొందబోయే దేవుని ఆత్మను గురించి ఆయన ఈ మాట చెప్పాడు. యేసు అప్పటికి తన మహిమా స్థితి పొందలేదు కనుక దేవుని ఆత్మ దిగి రావడం జరగలేదు.
But he said this about the Ruach, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Ruach was not yet given, because Yeshua was not yet glorified.
Some of the crowd therefore, when they heard these words, said, "This is truly the Prophet."
41 ౪౧ మరికొందరు, “ఈయన క్రీస్తే” అన్నారు. దానికి జవాబుగా ఇంకా కొందరు, “ఏమిటీ, క్రీస్తు గలిలయ నుండి వస్తాడా?
Others said, "This is the Messiah." But some said, "What, does the Messiah come out of Galil?
42 ౪౨ క్రీస్తు దావీదు వంశంలో పుడతాడనీ, దావీదు ఊరు బేత్లెహేము అనే గ్రామంలో నుండి వస్తాడనీ లేఖనాల్లో రాసి లేదా?” అన్నారు.
Hasn't the Scripture said that the Messiah comes of the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?"
So there arose a division in the crowd because of him.
Some of them would have arrested him, but no one laid hands on him.
45 ౪౫ పరిసయ్యులు పంపిన సైనికులు తిరిగి వచ్చారు. ప్రధాన యాజకులూ, పరిసయ్యులూ, “మీరు ఆయనను ఎందుకు తీసుకురాలేదు?” అని అడిగారు.
The officers therefore came to the chief cohanim and Pharisees, and they said to them, "Why did you not bring him?"
The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this man."
The Pharisees therefore answered them, "You are not also led astray, are you?
Have any of the rulers believed in him, or of the Pharisees?
But this crowd that does not know the Law is accursed."
Nicodemus (he who came to him before, being one of them) said to them,
51 ౫౧ “ఒక వ్యక్తి చెప్పే మాట వినకుండా అతడేం చేశాడో తెలుసుకోకుండా మన ధర్మశాస్త్రం అతడికి తీర్పు తీరుస్తుందా?” అన్నాడు.
"Does our Law judge a man, unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?"
They answered him, "Are you also from Galil? Search, and see that no prophet comes from Galil."
Then everyone went to his own house,
