லூக்கா 10
1 ௧ இவைகளுக்குப் பின்பு கர்த்தர் வேறு எழுபதுபேரை நியமித்து, தாம் போகும் எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களுக்கும் இடங்களுக்கும் அவர்களைத் தமக்குமுன்பாக இரண்டு இரண்டுபேராக அனுப்பினார்.
And after these things the Lord appointed also other seventy-two: and he sent them two and two before his face into every city and place whither he himself was to come.
2 ௨ அப்பொழுது அவர் அவர்களை நோக்கி: அறுப்பு மிகுதி, வேலையாட்களோ குறைவு; ஆகவே, அறுப்புக்கு எஜமான் தமது வேலையாட்களை அனுப்பும்படி அவரை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
And he said to them: The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send labourers into his harvest.
3 ௩ புறப்பட்டுப்போங்கள்; ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளை ஓநாய்களுக்குள்ளே அனுப்புகிறதுபோல, இதோ, நான் உங்களை அனுப்புகிறேன்.
Go: Behold I send you as lambs among wolves.
4 ௪ பணப்பையையும் பயணப்பையையும் காலணிகளையும் கொண்டுபோக வேண்டாம்; வழியிலே ஒருவரையும் வாழ்த்திப் பேசவும் வேண்டாம்.
Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes; and salute no man by the way.
5 ௫ ஒரு வீட்டில் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது: இந்த வீட்டிற்குச் சமாதானம் உண்டாவதாக என்று முதலாவது சொல்லுங்கள்.
Into whatsoever house you enter, first say: Peace be to this house.
6 ௬ சமாதானத்திற்கு தகுதியானவன் அங்கே இருந்தால், நீங்கள் கூறின சமாதானம் அவனிடத்தில் தங்கும், இல்லாதிருந்தால் அது உங்களிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிவரும்.
And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you.
7 ௭ அந்த வீட்டிலேதானே நீங்கள் தங்கியிருந்து, அவர்கள் கொடுக்கிறவைகளைச் சாப்பிட்டுக் குடியுங்கள்; வேலையாள் தன் கூலிக்கு தகுதியுடையவனாக இருக்கிறான். வீட்டிற்குவீடு போகாதீர்கள்.
And in the same house, remain, eating and drinking such things as they have: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Remove not from house to house.
8 ௮ பட்டணத்தில் நீங்கள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, மக்கள் உங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டால் அவர்கள் உங்கள்முன் வைக்கிறவைகளை நீங்கள் சாப்பிட்டு,
And into what city soever you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.
9 ௯ அந்த இடத்திலுள்ள நோயாளிகளைச் சுகமாக்கி: தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் உங்களுக்கு அருகில் வந்திருக்கிறது என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
And heal the sick that are therein, and say to them: The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 ௧0 எந்தவொரு பட்டணத்திலும் நீங்கள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, மக்கள் உங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாவிட்டால் அதின் வீதிகளிலே நீங்கள் போய்:
But into whatsoever city you enter, and they receive you not, going forth into the streets thereof, say:
11 ௧௧ எங்களின் பாதத்தில் ஒட்டியுள்ள உங்களுடைய பட்டணத்தின் தூசியையும் உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் துடைத்துப்போடுகிறோம்; ஆனாலும் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் உங்களுக்கு அருகில் வந்திருக்கிறதென்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வீர்களாக என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
Even the very dust of your city that cleaveth to us, we wipe off against you. Yet know this, that the kingdom of God is at hand.
12 ௧௨ அந்தப் பட்டணத்திற்கு சம்பவிப்பதைவிட அந்த நாளிலே சோதோம் பட்டணத்திற்கு சம்பவிப்பது இலகுவாக இருக்கும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
I say to you, it shall be more tolerable at that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 ௧௩ கோராசீன் பட்டணமே, உனக்கு ஐயோ, பெத்சாயிதா பட்டணமே, உனக்கு ஐயோ, உங்களில் செய்யப்பட்ட பலத்த செய்கைகள் தீருவிலும் சீதோனிலும் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தால், அப்பொழுதே சணல் ஆடைகளை அணிந்து, சாம்பலில் உட்கார்ந்து, மனந்திரும்பியிருப்பார்கள்.
Woe to thee, Corozain, woe to thee, Bethsaida. For if in Tyre and Sidon had been wrought the mighty works that have been wrought in you, they would have done penance long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 ௧௪ நியாயத்தீர்ப்புநாளில் உங்களுக்கு சம்பவிப்பதைவிட, தீருவிற்கும் சீதோனுக்கும் சம்பவிப்பது இலகுவாக இருக்கும்.
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgement, than for you.
And thou, Capharnaum, which art exalted unto heaven, thou shalt be thrust down to hell. (Hadēs g86)
16 ௧௬ சீடர்களை நோக்கி: உங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறவன் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறான், உங்களை அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவன் என்னை அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறான், என்னை அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவன் என்னை அனுப்பினவரை அசட்டைப்பண்ணுகிறான் என்றார்.
He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth me; and he that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me.
17 ௧௭ பின்பு அந்த எழுபதுபேரும் சந்தோஷத்தோடு திரும்பிவந்து: ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய நாமத்தினாலே பிசாசுகளும் எங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறது என்றார்கள்.
And the seventy-two returned with joy, saying: Lord, the devils also are subject to us in thy name.
And he said to them: I saw Satan like lightening falling from heaven.
19 ௧௯ இதோ, பாம்புகளையும், தேள்களையும் மிதிக்கவும், சத்துருவினுடைய எல்லா வல்லமையையும் மேற்கொள்ளவும் உங்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுக்கிறேன்; ஒன்றும் உங்களைச் சேதப்படுத்தாது.
Behold, I have given you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall hurt you.
20 ௨0 ஆனாலும் ஆவிகள் உங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதற்காக நீங்கள் சந்தோஷப்படாமல், உங்களுடைய பெயர்கள் பரலோகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறதற்காகச் சந்தோஷப்படுங்கள் என்றார்.
But yet rejoice not in this, that spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice in this, that your names are written in heaven.
21 ௨௧ அந்தநேரத்தில் இயேசு ஆவியிலே களிகூர்ந்து: பிதாவே! வானத்திற்கும் பூமிக்கும் ஆண்டவரே! இவைகளை நீர் ஞானிகளுக்கும் கல்விமான்களுக்கும் மறைத்து, சிறுவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினபடியால் உம்மை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறேன்; ஆம், பிதாவே! இப்படிச்செய்வது உம்முடைய உயர்ந்த உள்ளத்திற்குப் பிரியமாக இருந்தது.
In that same hour, he rejoiced in the Holy Ghost, and said: I confess to thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to little ones. Yea, Father, for so it hath seemed good in thy sight.
22 ௨௨ சகலமும் என் பிதாவினால் எனக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; பிதாதவிர வேறொருவனும் குமாரன் இன்னாரென்று அறியான், குமாரனும், குமாரன் அவரை எவனுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்த விருப்பமாக இருக்கிறாரோ அவனைத்தவிர, வேறொருவனும் பிதா இன்னாரென்று அறியான் என்றார்.
All things are delivered to me by my Father; and no one knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and to whom the Son will reveal him.
23 ௨௩ பின்பு தமது சீடரிடத்தில் திரும்பி, தனித்து அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் காண்கிறவைகளைக் காணும் கண்கள் பாக்கியமுள்ளவைகள்.
And turning to his disciples, he said: Blessed are the eyes that see the things which you see.
24 ௨௪ அநேக தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் ராஜாக்களும் நீங்கள் காண்கிறவைகளைக் காணவும், நீங்கள் கேட்கிறவைகளைக் கேட்கவும் விரும்பியும், காணாமலும் கேளாமலும் போனார்கள் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.
For I say to you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see the things that you see, and have not seen them; and to hear the things that you hear, and have not heard them.
25 ௨௫ அப்பொழுது நியாயப்பண்டிதன் ஒருவன் எழுந்திருந்து, அவரைச் சோதிக்கும்படி: போதகரே, நித்தியஜீவனைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு நான் என்னசெய்யவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டான். (aiōnios g166)
And behold a certain lawyer stood up, tempting him, and saying, Master, what must I do to possess eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
But he said to him: What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 ௨௭ அவன் மறுமொழியாக: உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உன் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் உன் முழு பலத்தோடும் உன் முழு சிந்தையோடும் அன்புகூர்ந்து, உன்னிடத்தில் அன்புசெலுத்துவதுபோல அயலகத்தானிடத்திலும் அன்புசெலுத்துவாயாக என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறது என்றான்.
He answering, said: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind: and thy neighbour as thyself.
And he said to him: Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
But he willing to justify himself, said to Jesus: And who is my neighbour?
30 ௩0 இயேசு மறுமொழியாக: ஒரு மனிதன் எருசலேமிலிருந்து எரிகோவிற்குப் போகும்போது கள்ளர்களுடைய கைகளில் அகப்பட்டான்; அவர்கள் அவனுடைய ஆடைகளை உரிந்துவிட்டு, அவனைக் காயப்படுத்தி குற்றுயிராக விட்டுப்போனார்கள்.
And Jesus answering, said: A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, who also stripped him, and having wounded him went away, leaving him half dead.
And it chanced, that a certain priest went down the same way: and seeing him, passed by.
In like manner also a Levite, when he was near the place and saw him, passed by.
But a certain Samaritan being on his journey, came near him; and seeing him, was moved with compassion.
34 ௩௪ அருகில் வந்து, அவனுடைய காயங்களில் எண்ணெயும் திராட்சைரசமும் பூசி, காயங்களைக் கட்டி, அவனைத் தன் சொந்த வாகனத்தில் ஏற்றி, சத்திரத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோய், அவனைப் பராமரித்தான்.
And going up to him, bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine: and setting him upon his own beast, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 ௩௫ மறுநாளிலே தான் புறப்படும்போது இரண்டு வெள்ளிக்காசுகளை எடுத்து, சத்திரத்தானுடைய கையில் கொடுத்து: நீ இவனை கவனித்துக்கொள், அதிகமாக ஏதாவது இவனுக்காகச் செலவழித்தால், நான் திரும்பிவரும்போது அதை உனக்குத் தருவேன் என்றான்.
And the next day he took out two pence, and gave to the host, and said: Take care of him; and whatsoever thou shalt spend over and above, I, at my return, will repay thee.
36 ௩௬ இப்படியிருக்க, கள்ளர்கள் கைகளில் அகப்பட்டவனுக்கு இந்த மூன்றுபேரில் எவன் அயலாகத்தானாக இருந்தான்? உனக்கு எப்படித் தோன்றுகிறது என்றார்.
Which of these three, in thy opinion, was neighbour to him that fell among the robbers?
37 ௩௭ அதற்கு அவன்: அவனுக்கு இரக்கம் செய்தவனே என்றான். அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: நீயும்போய் அந்தப்படியே செய் என்றார்.
But he said: He that shewed mercy to him. And Jesus said to him: Go, and do thou in like manner.
38 ௩௮ பின்பு, அவர்கள் பயணம்செய்யும்போது, அவர் ஒரு கிராமத்திற்குள் நுழைந்தார். அங்கே மார்த்தாள் என்னும் பெயருள்ள ஒரு பெண் அவரைத் தன் வீட்டிலே ஏற்றுக்கொண்டாள்.
Now it came to pass as they went, that he entered into a certain town: and a certain woman named Martha, received him into her house.
39 ௩௯ அவளுக்கு மரியாள் என்னப்பட்ட ஒரு சகோதரி இருந்தாள்; அவள் இயேசுவின் பாதத்தருகே உட்கார்ந்து, அவருடைய வசனத்தைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தாள்.
And she had a sister called Mary, who sitting also at the Lord’s feet, heard his word.
40 ௪0 மார்த்தாளோ பற்பல வேலைகளைச் செய்வதில் மிகவும் வருத்தமடைந்து, அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: ஆண்டவரே, நான் தனியே வேலைசெய்யும்படி என் சகோதரி என்னை விட்டுவந்திருக்கிறதைக்குறித்து உமக்குக் கவலையில்லையா? எனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்படி அவளுக்குச் சொல்லும் என்றாள்.
But Martha was busy about much serving. Who stood and said: Lord, hast thou no care that my sister hath left me alone to serve? speak to her therefore, that she help me.
41 ௪௧ இயேசு அவளுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: மார்த்தாளே, மார்த்தாளே, நீ அநேக காரியங்களைக்குறித்துக் கவலைப்பட்டுக் கலங்குகிறாய்.
And the Lord answering, said to her: Martha, Martha, thou art careful, and art troubled about many things:
42 ௪௨ தேவையானது ஒன்றே, மரியாள் தன்னைவிட்டு எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படாத நல்ல பங்கைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டாள் என்றார்.
But one thing is necessary. Mary hath chosen the best part, which shall not be taken away from her.
