யோசுவா 21
1 ௧ அப்பொழுது லேவியர்களின் வம்சப்பிதாக்களின் தலைவர்கள்; கானான்தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற சீலோவிலே ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரிடமும், நூனின் மகனாகிய யோசுவாவிடமும், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுடைய கோத்திரப் பிதாக்களில் உள்ள தலைவர்களிடமும் வந்து:
Then the heads of ancestral houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of ancestral houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.
2 ௨ நாங்கள் குடியிருக்கும் பட்டணங்களையும், எங்களுடைய மிருகஜீவனுக்காக வெளிநிலங்களையும் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி, யெகோவா மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்டாரே என்றார்கள்.
They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, "The LORD commanded Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for our livestock."
3 ௩ யெகோவாவுடைய கட்டளையின்படியே, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தங்களுடைய பங்குகளிலே லேவியர்களுக்குப் பட்டணங்களையும் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with their suburbs.
4 ௪ கோகாத்தியர்களின் வம்சங்களுக்குச் சீட்டு விழுந்தது; அந்தச் சீட்டின்படி லேவியர்களில் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் சந்ததிக்கு யூதா கோத்திரத்திலும், சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திலும், பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலும் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பதின்மூன்று.
The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The descendants of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
5 ௫ கோகாத்தின் மற்ற வம்சங்களுக்கு, எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தின் வம்சங்களுக்குள்ளும், தாண் கோத்திரத்திலும், மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்திலும், சீட்டினால் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பத்து.
The rest of the descendants of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.
6 ௬ கெர்சோன் வம்சத்தின் மக்களுக்கு, இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தின் வம்சங்களுக்குள்ளும், ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்திலும், நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திலும், பாசானில் இருக்கிற மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்திலும், சீட்டினால் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பதின்மூன்று.
The descendants of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
7 ௭ மெராரி வம்சத்தின் மக்களுக்கு, அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படியே, ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திலும், காத் கோத்திரத்திலும், செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்திலும் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பன்னிரண்டு.
The descendants of Merari according to their families had twelve cities by lot out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
8 ௮ இந்தப் பட்டணங்களையும் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள், யெகோவா மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, சீட்டுப்போட்டு லேவியர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
The children of Israel gave these cities with their suburbs by lot to the Levites, as the LORD commanded by Moses.
9 ௯ லேவியின் கோத்திரத்தில் முதலாம் சீட்டைப்பெற்ற கோகாத்தியர்களின் வம்சங்களிலே இருக்கிற ஆரோனின் சந்ததியினர்களுக்கு,
They gave out of the tribe of the descendants of Judah, and out of the tribe of the descendants of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:
10 ௧0 யூதா கோத்திரத்திலும், சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திலும், அவர்கள் கொடுத்தவைகளும் பெயர்பெயராகச் சொல்லப்பட்டவைகளுமான பட்டணங்களின் பெயர்களாவன:
and they were for the descendants of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the descendants of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.
11 ௧௧ யூதாவின் மலைத்தேசத்தில் ஆனாக்கின் தகப்பனாகிய அர்பாவின் பட்டணமான எபிரோனையும் அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (that is, Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its suburbs around it.
12 ௧௨ பட்டணத்தின் வயல்களையும் அதினுடைய கிராமங்களையும் எப்புன்னேயின் மகனாகிய காலேபுக்குச் சொந்தமாகக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
But they gave the fields of the city and its villages to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13 ௧௩ இப்படியே கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாக ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் சந்ததியார்களுக்கு எபிரோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், லிப்னாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
To the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Libnah with its suburbs,
Jattir with its suburbs, Eshtemoa with its suburbs,
Holon with its suburbs, Debir with its suburbs,
16 ௧௬ ஆயீனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், யுத்தாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெத்ஷிமேசையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அந்த இரண்டு கோத்திரங்களில் இருக்கிற பட்டணங்கள் ஒன்பது.
Ashan with its suburbs, Juttah with its suburbs, and Beth Shemesh with its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.
17 ௧௭ பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலே அவர்களுக்குக் கிபியோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கேபாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
Out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs,
18 ௧௮ ஆனதோத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், அல்மோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
Anathoth with its suburbs, and Almon with its suburbs; four cities.
19 ௧௯ ஆசாரியர்களான ஆரோனுடைய சந்ததியார்களின் பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களும் உட்பட பதின்மூன்று.
All the cities of the descendants of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
20 ௨0 லேவியர்களான கோகாத்தின் குடும்பத்தார்களில் மீதியான அவர்களுடைய மற்ற வம்சங்களுக்கு எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்திலே அவர்களுக்குப் பங்குவீதமாக அவர்கள் கொடுத்த பட்டணங்களாவன:
The families of the descendants of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the descendants of Kohath, had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21 ௨௧ கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமான எப்பிராயீமின் மலைத்தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற சீகேமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், கேசேரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
They gave them Shechem with its suburbs in the hill country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer with its suburbs,
22 ௨௨ கிப்சாயீமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெத்தொரோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
Kibzaim with its suburbs, and Beth Horon with its suburbs; four cities.
23 ௨௩ தாண் கோத்திரத்திலே எல்தெக்கேயையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், கிபெத்தோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
Out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its suburbs, Gibbethon with its suburbs,
24 ௨௪ ஆயலோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், காத்ரிம்மோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
Aijalon with its suburbs, Gath Rimmon with its suburbs; four cities.
25 ௨௫ மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்திலே தானாகையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், காத்ரிம்மோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் இரண்டு.
Out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Beth Shean with its suburbs; two cities.
26 ௨௬ கோகாத் வம்சத்தின் மீதியான வம்சங்களுக்கு உண்டான பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களும் உட்பட பத்து.
All the cities of the families of the rest of the descendants of Kohath were ten with their suburbs.
27 ௨௭ லேவியர்களின் வம்சங்களிலே கெர்சோன் வம்சத்தார்களுக்கு மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்தில் கொலை செய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமான பாசானிலுள்ள கோலானையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெயேஸ்திராவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் இரண்டு.
They gave to the descendants of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Be Eshterah with its suburbs; two cities.
28 ௨௮ இசக்காரின் கோத்திரத்திலே கீசோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், தாபராத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
Out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its suburbs, Daberath with its suburbs,
29 ௨௯ யர்மூத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், என்கன்னீமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
Jarmuth with its suburbs, En Gannim with its suburbs; four cities.
30 ௩0 ஆசேரின் கோத்திரத்திலே மிஷயாலையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், அப்தோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
Out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its suburbs, Abdon with its suburbs,
31 ௩௧ எல்காத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், ரேகோபையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
Helkath with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; four cities.
32 ௩௨ நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திலே கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாக கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள கேதேசையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், அம்மோத்தோரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், கர்தானையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் மூன்று.
Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, Hammothdor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.
33 ௩௩ கெர்சோனியர்களுக்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி உண்டான பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களும் உட்பட பதின்மூன்று.
All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
34 ௩௪ மற்ற லேவியர்களாகிய மெராரி வம்சங்களுக்குச் செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்திலே யொக்னியாமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், கர்தாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
To the families of the descendants of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, Kartah with its suburbs,
35 ௩௫ திம்னாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், நகலாலையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
Rimmon with its suburbs, and Nahalal with its suburbs; four cities.
36 ௩௬ ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திலே பேசேரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், யாகசாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
And across the Jordan opposite Jericho, from the tribe of Reuben: a city of refuge for the manslayer, Bezer in the wilderness, on the plateau, with its suburbs, Jahaz with its suburbs,
37 ௩௭ கெதெமோத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், மெபாகாத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.
38 ௩௮ காத் கோத்திரத்திலே கொலை செய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாக, கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், மகனாயீமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,
39 ௩௯ எஸ்போனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், யாசேரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
Heshbon with its suburbs, Jazer with its suburbs; four cities in all.
40 ௪0 இவைகளெல்லாம் லேவியர்களின் மற்ற வம்சங்களாகிய மெராரி வம்சத்தார்களுக்கு, அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பங்குவீதம் பன்னிரண்டு பட்டணங்கள்.
All these were the cities of the descendants of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.
41 ௪௧ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் சொந்தமாக்கியிருந்த தேசத்தின் நடுவிலே இருக்கிற லேவியர்களின் பட்டணங்களெல்லாம், அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களும் உட்பட நாற்பத்தெட்டு.
All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their suburbs.
42 ௪௨ இந்தப் பட்டணங்களில் ஒவ்வொன்றிற்கும் அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள வெளிநிலங்கள் இருந்தது; எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களுக்கும் அப்படியே இருந்தது.
Each of these cities included their suburbs around them. It was this way with all these cities.
43 ௪௩ இந்தவிதமாகக் யெகோவா இஸ்ரவேலுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று அவர்களுடைய முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்ட தேசத்தையெல்லாம் கொடுத்தார்; அவர்கள் அவைகளைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டு, அவைகளிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்.
So the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.
44 ௪௪ யெகோவா அவர்களுடைய முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டபடியெல்லாம் அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலும் யுத்தமில்லாமல் ஓய்ந்திருக்கச்செய்தார்; அவர்களுடைய எல்லா எதிரிகளிலும் ஒருவரும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கவில்லை; அவர்கள் எதிரிகளையெல்லாம் யெகோவா அவர்களுடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்.
The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 ௪௫ யெகோவா இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தார்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்த நல்ல வார்த்தைகளிலெல்லாம் ஒரு வார்த்தையும் தவறிப்போகவில்லை; எல்லாம் நிறைவேறினது.
Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
