யோபு 37

1 ௧ “இதினால் என் இருதயம் தத்தளித்து, தன்னிடத்தைவிட்டுத் தெறிக்கிறது.

Indeed, my heart trembles at this; it is moved out of its place.

2 ௨ தேவனுடைய சத்தத்தினால் உண்டாகிற அதிர்ச்சியையும், அவர் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற முழக்கத்தையும் கவனமாகக் கேளுங்கள்.

Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out from his mouth.

3 ௩ அவர் வானத்தின் கீழெங்கும் அந்தத் தொனியையும், பூமியின் கடையாந்தரங்கள்மேல் அதின் மின்னலையும் செல்லவிடுகிறார்.

He sends it out under the whole sky, and he sends out his lightning to the edges of the earth.

4 ௪ அதற்குப்பின்பு அவர் சத்தமாக முழங்கி, தம்முடைய மகத்துவத்தின் சத்தத்தைக் குமுறச்செய்கிறார்; அவருடைய சத்தம் கேட்கப்படும்போது அதைத் தவிர்க்கமுடியாது.

A voice roars after it; he thunders with the voice of his majesty; he does not restrain the lightning bolts when his voice is heard.

5 ௫ தேவன் தம்முடைய சத்தத்தை ஆச்சரியவிதமாகக் குமுறச் செய்கிறார்; நாம் விளங்கமுடியாத பெரிய காரியங்களை அவர் செய்கிறார்.

God thunders marvelously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend.

6 ௬ அவர் உறைந்த மழையையும், கல்மழையையும், தம்முடைய வல்லமையின் பெருமழையையும் பார்த்து: பூமியின்மேல் பெய்யுங்கள் என்று கட்டளையிடுகிறார்.

For he says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth'; likewise to the rain shower, 'Become a great shower of rain.'

7 ௭ தாம் உண்டாக்கின எல்லா மனிதரும் தம்மை அறியவேண்டுமென்று, அவர் எல்லா மனிதருடைய கைகளையும் முடக்கிப்போடுகிறார்.

He stops the hand of every man from working, so that all people whom he has made may see his deeds.

8 ௮ அப்பொழுது காட்டுமிருகங்கள் தங்கள் குகைகளில் புகுந்து, தங்கள் கெபிகளில் தங்கும்.

Then the beasts go into hiding and stay in their dens.

9 ௯ தெற்கேயிருந்து சூறாவளியும், வடகாற்றினால் குளிரும் வரும்.

The storm comes from its chamber in the south and the cold from the scattering winds in the north.

10 ௧0 தம்முடைய சுவாசத்தினால் தேவன் குளிரைக் கொடுக்கிறார்; அப்பொழுது தண்ணீரின் மேற்பரப்பு உறைந்துபோகும்.

By the breath of God ice is given; the expanse of the waters is frozen like metal.

11 ௧௧ அவர் நீர்த்துளிகளை மேகத்தில் ஏற்றி, மின்னலினால் மேகத்தைச் சிதறவைக்கிறார்.

Indeed, he weighs down the thick cloud with moisture; he scatters his lightning through the clouds.

12 ௧௨ அவர் அவைகளுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிற யாவையும், அவைகள் பூச்சக்கரத்தில் நடப்பிக்கும்படி, அவர் அவைகளைத் தம்முடைய ஞான ஆலோசனைகளின்படியே சுற்றித் திரியவைக்கிறார்.

He swirls the clouds around by his guidance, so that they may do whatever he commands them above the surface of the whole world.

13 ௧௩ ஒன்றில் தண்டனையாகவும், ஒன்றில் தம்முடைய பூமிக்கு உபயோகமாகவும், ஒன்றில் கிருபையாகவும், அவைகளை வரச்செய்கிறார்.

He makes all of this happen; sometimes it happens for correction, sometimes for his land, and sometimes as acts of covenant faithfulness.

14 ௧௪ யோபே, இதற்குச் செவிகொடும்; தரித்துநின்று தேவனுடைய ஆச்சரியமான கிரியைகளைத் தியானித்துப்பாரும்.

Listen to this, Job; stop and think about God's marvelous deeds.

15 ௧௫ தேவன் அவைகளைத் திட்டமிட்டு, தம்முடைய மேகத்தின் மின்னலை மின்னச்செய்யும் விதத்தை அறிவீரோ?

Do you know how God establishes the clouds and makes the lightning bolts to flash in them?

16 ௧௬ மேகங்கள் தொங்கும்படி வைக்கும் எடையையும், பூரண ஞானமுள்ளவரின் அற்புதமான செய்கைகளையும்,

Do you understand the floating of the clouds, the marvelous deeds of God, who is perfect in knowledge?

17 ௧௭ தென்றலினால் அவர் பூமியை அமைக்கும்போது, உம்முடைய ஆடைகள் வெப்பமாயிருக்கும் முறையையும் அறிவீரோ?

Do you understand how your garments become hot when the land is still because the wind comes from the south?

18 ௧௮ செய்யப்பட்ட கண்ணாடியைப்போல் கெட்டியான ஆகாயமண்டலங்களை நீர் அவருடன் இருந்து விரித்தீரோ?

Can you spread out the sky as he can— the sky, which is as strong as a mirror of cast metal?

19 ௧௯ அவருக்கு நாம் சொல்லக்கூடியதை எங்களுக்குப் போதியும்; இருளின் காரணமாக முறைதவறிப் பேசுகிறோம்.

Teach us what we should say to him, for we cannot lay out our arguments in order because of the darkness of our minds.

20 ௨0 நான் பேசத்துணிந்தேன் என்று யாராவது ஒருவன் அவருக்கு முன்பாகச் சொல்லமுடியுமோ? ஒருவன் பேசத்துணிந்தால் அவன் அழிக்கப்பட்டுப்போவானே.

Should he be told that I wish to speak with him? Would a person wish to be swallowed up?

21 ௨௧ இப்போதும் காற்று வீசி ஆகாய மண்டலங்களிலுள்ள மப்பு நீங்கச் செய்திருக்கிற சமயத்தில் வடக்கேயிருந்து பொன்மயமான கதிர்கள் வருகிறபோது,

Now, people cannot look at the sun when it is bright in the sky after the wind has passed through and has cleared it of its clouds.

22 ௨௨ ஆகாயமண்டலத்திலே பிரகாசிக்கிற சூரியனை முதலாய் ஒருவரும் நோக்கிப் பார்க்கமுடியாதே; தேவனிடத்திலோ பயங்கரமான மகத்துவமுண்டு.

Out of the north comes golden splendor— over God is fearsome majesty.

23 ௨௩ சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனை நாம் கண்டுபிடிக்கமுடியாது; அவர் வல்லமையிலும் நியாயத்திலும் பெருத்தவர்; அவர் மகா நீதிபரர்; அவர் ஒடுக்கமாட்டார்.

As for the Almighty, we cannot find him! He is great in power; he does not oppress justice and abundant righteousness.

24 ௨௪ ஆகையால் மனிதர் அவருக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டும்; தங்கள் மனதில் ஞானிகளாயிருக்கிற எவர்களையும் அவர் மதிக்கமாட்டார்” என்றான்.

Therefore, people fear him. He does not pay any attention to those who are wise in their own minds.”
