எசேக்கியேல் 38
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2 ௨ மனிதகுமாரனே, மேசேக் தூபால் இனத்தாரின் தலைமையான அதிபதியாகிய மாகோகு தேசத்தானான கோகுக்கு எதிராக நீ உன்னுடைய முகத்தைத் திருப்பி, அவனுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லி,
“Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 ௩ சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார், மேசேக் தூபால் இனத்தாரின் அதிபதியாகிய கோகே, இதோ, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக வருவேன்.
and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
4 ௪ நான் உன்னைத் திருப்பி, உன்னுடைய வாயில் கடிவாளங்களைப் போட்டு, உன்னையும் உன்னுடைய எல்லாச் படையையும், குதிரைகளையும், சர்வாயுதந்தரித்த குதிரை வீரர்களையும், சிரியகேடகங்களும் பெரிய கேடகமுமுடைய திரளான கூட்டத்தையும் புறப்படச்செய்வேன்; அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் வாள்களைப் பிடித்திருப்பார்கள்.
I will turn you around, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, with all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords;
5 ௫ அவர்களுடன் கூட பெர்சியர்களும், எத்தியோப்பியர்களும், லீபியர்களும் இருப்பார்கள்; அவர்களெல்லோரும் கேடகம்பிடித்து, தலைச்சீராவும் அணிந்திருப்பவர்கள்.
Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
6 ௬ கோமரும் அவனுடைய எல்லா படைகளும் வடதிசையிலுள்ள தொகர்மா வம்சத்தாரும் அவர்களுடைய எல்லா இராணுவங்களுமாகிய திரளான மக்கள் உன்னுடன் இருப்பார்கள்.
Gomer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his hordes—even many peoples with you.
7 ௭ நீ ஆயத்தப்படு, உன்னுடன் இருக்கிற உன்னுடைய எல்லாக் கூட்டத்தையும் ஆயத்தப்படுத்து; நீ அவர்களுக்குக் காவலனாக இரு.
“‘“Be prepared, yes, prepare yourself, you, and all your companies who are assembled to you, and be a guard to them.
8 ௮ அநேக நாட்களுக்குப் பிற்பாடு நீ விசாரிக்கப்படுவாய்; வாளுக்கு விளக்கி, பற்பல மக்களிலிருந்து சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வந்தவர்களின் தேசத்தில் கடைசி வருடங்களிலே வருவாய்; நெடுநாட்கள் பாழாய் கிடந்து, பிற்பாடு இனத்தவர்களிலிருந்து கொண்டுவரப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லோரும் சுகத்துடன் குடியிருக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலின் மலைகளுக்கு விரோதமாக வருவாய்; அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் பயப்படாமல் குடியிருக்கும்போது,
After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought out of the peoples and they will dwell securely, all of them.
9 ௯ பெருங்காற்றைப்போல் எழும்பி வருவாய்; நீயும் உன்னுடைய எல்லா படைகளும் உன்னுடன் இருக்கும் திரளான மக்களும் கார்மேகம்போல் தேசத்தை மூடுவீர்கள்.
You will ascend. You will come like a storm. You will be like a cloud to cover the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.”
10 ௧0 யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: அந்த நாளிலே பாழாய் கிடந்து திரும்பக் குடியேற்றப்பட்ட மக்களுக்கு விரோதமாகவும், மக்களிடத்திலிருந்து சேர்க்கப்பட்டதும், ஆடுகளையும், மாடுகளையும், ஆஸ்திகளையும் சம்பாதித்து, தேசத்தின் நடுவில் குடியிருக்கிறதுமான மக்களுக்கு விரோதமாகவும், நீ உன்னுடைய கையைத் திருப்பும்படி,
“‘The Lord GOD says: “It will happen in that day that things will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil plan.
You will say, ‘I will go up to the land of unwalled villages. I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 ௧௨ நான் கொள்ளையிடவும் சூறையாடவும், மதில்களில்லாமல் கிடக்கிற கிராமங்களுள்ள தேசத்திற்கு விரோதமாகப்போவேன்; அலட்சியமாக சுகத்துடன் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களின்மேல் வருவேன்; அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் மதில்களில்லாமல் குடியிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களுக்குத் தாழ்ப்பாளும் இல்லை, கதவுகளும் இல்லை என்பாய்.
to take the plunder and to take prey; to turn your hand against the waste places that are inhabited, and against the people who are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten livestock and goods, who dwell in the middle of the earth.’
13 ௧௩ சேபா தேசத்தாரும், தேதான் தேசத்தாரும், தர்ஷீசின் வியாபாரிகளும் அதினுடைய பாலசிங்கங்களான அனைவரும் உன்னை நோக்கி: நீ கொள்ளையிட அல்லவோ வருகிறாயென்றும், நீ சூறையாடி, வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் ஆஸ்தியையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதற்கும், ஆடுகளையும், மாடுகளையும் பிடிக்கிறதற்கும், மிகவும் கொள்ளையிடுகிறதற்கும் அல்லவோ உன்னுடைய கூட்டத்தைக் கூட்டினாயென்றும் சொல்லுவார்கள்.
Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its young lions, will ask you, ‘Have you come to take the plunder? Have you assembled your company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’
14 ௧௪ ஆகையால் மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லி, கோகை நோக்கிச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்; யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; என்னுடைய மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் சுகமாகக் குடியிருக்கிற அக்காலத்திலே நீ அதை அறிவாய் அல்லவோ?
“Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and tell Gog, ‘The Lord GOD says: “In that day when my people Israel dwells securely, will you not know it?
15 ௧௫ அப்பொழுது நீயும் உன்னுடன் திரளான மக்களும் வடதிசையிலுள்ள உன்னுடைய இடத்திலிருந்து வருவீர்கள்; அவர்கள் பெரிய கூட்டமும் திரளான கூட்டமாக இருந்து, எல்லோரும் குதிரைகளின்மேல் ஏறுகிறவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள்.
You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you, and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.
16 ௧௬ நீ தேசத்தைக் கார்மேகம்போல்மூட, என்னுடைய மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்பிவருவாய்; கடைசி நாட்களிலே இது நடக்கும்; கோகே, இனத்தார்களின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக உன்மூலமாக நான் பரிசுத்தர் என்று விளங்கப்படுகிறதினால் அவர்கள் என்னை அறிவதற்கு உன்னை என்னுடைய தேசத்திற்கு விரோதமாக வரச்செய்வேன்.
You will come up against my people Israel as a cloud to cover the land. It will happen in the latter days that I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me when I am sanctified in you, Gog, before their eyes.”
17 ௧௭ உன்னை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக வரச்செய்வேன் என்று ஆரம்ப நாட்களிலே அநேக வருடகாலமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லி, இஸ்ரவேலின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளாகிய என்னுடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களைக்கொண்டு, அந்த நாட்களிலே நான் குறித்துச்சொன்னவன் நீ அல்லவோ என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
“‘The Lord GOD says: “Are you he of whom I spoke in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for years that I would bring you against them?
18 ௧௮ இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திற்கு விரோதமாக கோகு வரும்காலத்தில் என்னுடைய கடுங்கோபம் என்னுடைய நாசியில் ஏறுமென்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
It will happen in that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that my wrath will come up into my nostrils.
For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath I have spoken. Surely in that day there will be a great shaking in the land of Israel,
20 ௨0 என்னுடைய பிரசன்னத்தினால் கடலின் மீன்களும், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளும், வெளியின் மிருகங்களும், தரையில் ஊருகிற எல்லா பிராணிகளும், தேசமெங்குமுள்ள எல்லா உயிரினங்களும் அதிரும்; மலைகள் இடியும்; செங்குத்தானவைகள் விழும்; எல்லா மதில்களும் தரையிலே விழுந்துபோகும் என்று என்னுடைய எரிச்சலினாலும் என்னுடைய கோபத்தின் அக்கினியினாலும் நிச்சயமாகச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all creeping things who creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the surface of the earth will shake at my presence. Then the mountains will be thrown down, the steep places will fall, and every wall will fall to the ground.
21 ௨௧ என்னுடைய எல்லா மலைகளிலும் வாளை அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக வரவழைப்பேன் என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அவனவன் வாள் அவனவன் சகோதரனுக்கு விரோதமாக இருக்கும்.
I will call for a sword against him to all my mountains,” says the Lord GOD. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.
22 ௨௨ கொள்ளைநோயினாலும் இரத்தம் சிந்துதலினாலும் நான் அவனுடன் வழக்காடி, அவன்மேலும் அவனுடைய படைகளின்மேலும் அவனுடன் இருக்கும் திரளான மக்களின்மேலும் வெள்ளமாக அடிக்கும் மழையையும், பெருங்கல்மழையையும், அக்கினியையும், கந்தகத்தையும் பெருகச்செய்வேன்.
I will enter into judgment with him with pestilence and with blood. I will rain on him, on his hordes, and on the many peoples who are with him, torrential rains with great hailstones, fire, and sulfur.
23 ௨௩ இப்படியாக நான் அநேக தேசங்களின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக என்னுடைய மகத்துவத்தையும் என்னுடைய பரிசுத்தத்தையும் விளங்கச்செய்து, காண்பிப்பேன்; அப்பொழுது நான் யெகோவா என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”’
