எரேமியா 31
1 அக்காலத்தில், “இஸ்ரயேலின் எல்லா வம்சங்களுக்கும் நான் இறைவனாயிருப்பேன், அவர்களும் என் மக்களாய் இருப்பார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
Thus has the Lord said concerning MOAB, Woe to Nabau! for it has perished: Cariathaim is taken: Amath and Agath are put to shame.
2 யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “வாளுக்குத் தப்பிய மக்கள் பாலைவனத்தில் ஆதரவு பெறுவார்கள். இஸ்ரயேலுக்கு ஆறுதல் கொடுக்க நான் வருவேன்” என்கிறார்.
There is no longer any healing for Moab, [nor] glorying in Esebon: he has devised evils against her: we have cut her off from [being] a nation, and she shall be completely still: after you shall go a sword;
3 பூர்வகாலத்தில் யெகோவா எங்களுக்குத் தோன்றி சொன்னதாவது: “நான் உங்களை நித்திய அன்பினால் நேசித்திருக்கிறேன்; ஆதலால், கைவிடாத தயவினால் நான் உங்களை என்னிடமாய் இழுத்திருக்கிறேன்.
for [there is] a voice of [men] crying out of Oronaim, destruction and great ruin.
4 இஸ்ரயேல் கன்னிகையே! நான் உன்னைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டி எழுப்புவேன். நீ திரும்பவும் கட்டப்படுவாய்; உன் மேளவாத்தியங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு மகிழ்ச்சியுள்ளவர்களுடன் நடனத்திற்குப் போவாய்.
Moab is ruined, proclaim [it] to Zogora:
5 நீ திரும்பவும் சமாரியாவின் மலைகளில் திராட்சைத் தோட்டங்களை நாட்டுவாய். விவசாயிகள் அவைகளை நாட்டி அவைகளின் பலனை அனுபவிப்பார்கள்.
for Aloth is filled with weeping: one shall go up weeping by the way of Oronaim; you have heard a cry of destruction.
6 ஒரு நாள் வரும்; அந்நாளில், ‘சீயோனில் நம்முடைய இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவிடத்தில் ஏறிப்போவோம் வாருங்கள்’ என்று எப்பிராயீம் மலைகளிலுள்ள காவலாளிகள் சத்தமிட்டுக் கூறுவார்கள்” என்று சொல்லியிருந்தார்.
Flee you, and save your lives, and you shall be as a wild ass in the desert.
7 இப்பொழுது யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “யாக்கோபுக்காக மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் பாடுங்கள். நாடுகளின் முதன்மையானவர்களுக்காகச் சத்தமிடுங்கள்; உங்கள் துதிகளைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணுங்கள். ‘யெகோவாவே இஸ்ரயேலில் மீதியாயிருக்கிற உமது மக்களைக் காப்பாற்றும்’ என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
Since you have trusted in your strong-hold, therefore you shall be taken: and Chamos shall go forth into captivity, and his priests, and his princes together.
8 இதோ நான் அவர்களை வடநாட்டிலிருந்து கொண்டுவருவேன்; பூமியின் கடைசி எல்லையிலிருந்து அவர்களைக் கூட்டிச்சேர்ப்பேன். குருடரும், முடவரும், கர்ப்பவதிகளும், பிரசவிக்கும் பெண்களும் அவர்களிடையே இருப்பார்கள். இவ்வாறாக ஒரு மக்கள் கூட்டம் திரும்பிவரும்.
And destruction shall come upon every city, it shall by no means escape; the valley also shall perish, and the plain country shall be completely destroyed, as the Lord has said.
9 நான் அவர்களைத் திரும்பக் கொண்டுவருகையில் அவர்கள் அழுகையுடனும், மன்றாட்டுடனும் வருவார்கள். நான் அவர்களை இடறாத சமமான பாதையில், நீரோடைகள் அருகே வழிநடத்திக் கொண்டுசெல்வேன். ஏனெனில் நான் இஸ்ரயேலின் தகப்பன்; எப்பிராயீம் என் முதற்பேறான மகன்.
Set marks upon Moab, for she shall be touched with a plague-spot, and all her cities shall become desolate; whence [shall there be] an inhabitant for her?
10 “நாடுகளே யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்; தூரமான கரையோரங்களில் அதைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள். ‘இஸ்ரயேலைச் சிதறடித்தவர் அவர்களைக் கூட்டிச்சேர்த்து, ஒரு மேய்ப்பன் தன் மந்தையை கண்காணிப்பதுபோல் அவர்களை கண்காணிப்பார்.’
Cursed is the man that does the works of the Lord carelessly, keeping back his sword from blood.
11 யெகோவா யாக்கோபை விடுவிப்பார். அவர்களிலும் பலவான்களுடைய கையிலிருந்து அவர்களை மீட்பார்.
Moab has been at ease from a child, and trusted in his glory; he has not poured out [his liquor] from vessel to vessel, and has not gone into banishment, therefore his taste remained in him, and his smell departed not.
12 அவர்கள் வந்து, சீயோன் மலை உச்சியிலிருந்து மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் ஆரவாரிப்பார்கள். யெகோவாவின் நிறைவான தானியம், புதிய திராட்சரசம், எண்ணெய், ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகள், கன்றுக்குட்டிகள் ஆகிய கொடைகளில் மகிழ்ச்சியடைவார்கள். அவர்கள் நன்கு நீர் பாய்ச்சப்பட்ட தோட்டத்தைப்போல் இருப்பார்கள். இனி ஒருபோதும் துக்கமடையமாட்டார்கள்.
Therefore, behold, his days come, says the Lord, when I shall send upon him bad leaders, and they shall lead him astray, and they shall utterly break in pieces his possessions, and shall cut his horns asunder.
13 அப்பொழுது இளம்பெண்களும், வாலிபரும், முதியோருங்கூட நடனமாடி மகிழ்வார்கள். நான் அவர்களுடைய துக்கத்தை மகிழ்ச்சியாக மாற்றுவேன். துயரத்திற்குப் பதிலாக ஆறுதலையும், மகிழ்ச்சியையும் நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன்.
And Moab shall be ashamed of Chamos, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Baethel their hope, having trusted in them.
14 ஆசாரியர்களை நிறைவான செழிப்பினால் திருப்தியாக்குவேன். என் மக்கள் என் கொடைகளினால் திருப்தியடைவார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
How will you say, We are strong, and men strong for war?
15 யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “ராமாவிலே ஒரு குரல் கேட்கிறது. அது புலம்பலும் பெரிய அழுகையுமாய் இருக்கிறது. ராகேல் தன் பிள்ளைகளுக்காக அழுகிறாள். அவர்களை இழந்ததினால், ஆறுதல் பெற மறுக்கிறாள்.”
Moab is ruined, [even] his city, and his choice young men have gone down to slaughter.
16 யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “உன் அழுகையின் குரலை அடக்கி, கண்ணீர் விடாதபடி உன் கண்களை தடுத்துவிடு. ஏனெனில் உன் செயலுக்கான பலன் கிடைக்கும்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். “உன் பிள்ளைகள் தங்கள் பகைவரின் நாட்டிலிருந்து திரும்பி வருவார்கள்.
The day of Moab is near at hand, and his iniquity moves swiftly [to vengeance].
17 எனவே வருங்காலத்திற்கான நல்ல நம்பிக்கை உனக்கு உண்டு” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். “உன் பிள்ளைகள் தங்கள் சொந்த நாட்டிற்குத் திரும்பி வருவார்கள்.
Shake [the head] at him, all you that are round about him; all [of you] utter his name; say you, How is the glorious staff broken to pieces, the rod of magnificence!
18 “நான் எப்பிராயீமின் அழுகுரலை நிச்சயமாகக் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன். ‘நீர் என்னை அடங்காத கன்றைப்போல் தண்டித்து பயிற்றுவித்தீர். நான் பயிற்றுவிக்கப்பட்டேன். என்னைப் புதுப்பியும், நான் திரும்பிவருவேன். ஏனெனில், நீரே என் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா.
Come down from [your] glory, and sit down in a damp place: Daebon shall be broken, because Moab is destroyed: there has gone up against you one to ravage your strong-hold.
19 நான் வழிதவறிப் போனபின், மனந்திரும்பினேன். எனக்கு விளங்கும் ஆற்றல் வந்தபின், என் மார்பில் அடித்துக்கொண்டேன். என் வாலிபத்தின் நிந்தையைச் சுமந்ததினால், நான் வெட்கப்பட்டு சிறுமைப்பட்டேன்.’
Stand by the way, and look, you that dwell in Arer; and ask him that is fleeing, and him that escapes, and say, What has happened?
20 எப்பிராயீம் என் அன்பு மகனும், நான் மகிழும் பிள்ளையும் அல்லவா? அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக நான் அடிக்கடி பேசினாலும், இன்னும் அவனை நினைவுகூருகிறேன். ஆகையினால் என் உள்ளம் அவனுக்காக ஏங்குகிறது. நான் அவன்மேல் அதிக இரக்கமாயிருக்கிறேன்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
Moab is put to shame, because he is broken: howl and cry; proclaim in Arnon, that Moab has perished.
21 “வீதியில் அடையாளச் சின்னங்களை நிறுத்திவை. வழிகாட்டிக் கம்பங்களையும் அமைத்துக்கொள். நீ நடந்துவருகிற வீதியான பெரும் பாதையையும் குறித்துவை. இஸ்ரயேல் கன்னிப்பெண்ணே! திரும்பி வா; உன்னுடைய பட்டணங்களுக்குத் திரும்பி வா.
And judgment is coming against the land of Misor, upon Chelon, and Rephas, and Mophas,
22 உண்மையற்ற மகளே, எவ்வளவு காலத்திற்கு அலைந்து திரிவாய்? யெகோவா பூமியில் புதியதொரு காரியத்தை உண்டாக்குவார். ஒரு பெண் ஒரு மனிதனை பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்வாள்.”
and upon Daebon, and upon Nabau, and upon the house of Daethlathaim,
23 இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய சேனைகளின் யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்த மக்களை நான் யூதா நாட்டிற்கும் அதன் பட்டணங்களுக்கும் மீண்டும் கொண்டுவருவேன். அப்போது அவர்கள்: திரும்பவும் நீதியின் குடியிருப்பே, பரிசுத்த மலையே, ‘யெகோவா உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்’ என்னும் வார்த்தைகளை உபயோகிப்பார்கள்.
and upon Cariathaim, and upon the house of Gaemol, and upon the house of Maon,
24 யூதாவிலும் அதன் பட்டணங்களிலும் வாழ்கிற விவசாயிகளும், மந்தை மேய்க்கிறவர்களுமான மக்கள் ஒன்றுசேர்ந்து வாழ்வார்கள்.
and upon Carioth, and upon Bosor, and upon all the cities of Moab, far and near.
25 நான் களைப்படைந்தவரை ஊக்குவித்து, சோர்ந்துபோனவர்களை திருப்தியாக்குவேன்.”
The horn of Moab is broken, and his arm is crushed.
26 இதைக் கேட்ட நான் விழித்தெழுந்து சுற்றிப் பார்த்தேன். என்னுடைய நித்திரை எனக்கு இன்பமாயிருந்தது.
Make you him drunk; for he has magnified himself against the Lord: and Moab shall clap with his hand, and shall be also himself a laughing stock.
27 “நாட்கள் வருகின்றன; நான் இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தையும் யூதா குடும்பத்தையும், மனிதரின் சந்ததிகளாலும் மிருகத்தின் குட்டிகளாலும் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன்” என்று யெகோவா கூறுகிறார்.
For surely Israel was to you a laughing stock, and was found among your thefts, because you did fight against him.
28 “நான் அவைகளை வேரோடு பிடுங்கவும், இடித்து வீழ்த்தவும், கவிழ்க்கவும், அழித்து பேராபத்தைக் கொண்டுவரவும் எவ்வளவு கருத்தாய் இருந்தேனோ, அவ்வாறே அவர்களைக் கட்டவும், நாட்டவும் கருத்தாய் இருப்பேன்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
The inhabitants of Moab have left the cities, and lived in rocks; they have become as doves nestling in rocks, at the mouth of a cave.
29 “அந்நாட்களில் மக்கள், “‘தந்தையர் புளித்த திராட்சைக் காய்களைத் தின்றார்கள், பிள்ளைகளின் பற்கள் கூசிப்போயிற்று’ என்று இனி ஒருபோதும் சொல்லமாட்டார்கள்.
And I have heard of the pride of Moab, he has greatly heightened his pride and his haughtiness, and his heart has been lifted up.
30 ஆனால் ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன்தன் பாவத்திற்காக சாவான். புளிப்பான திராட்சைப் பழத்தைத் தின்பவன் எவனோ, அவனுடைய பற்களே கூசிப்போகும்.”
But I know his works: is it not enough for him? has he not done thus?
31 யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறதாவது, “இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தோடும் யூதா குடும்பத்தோடும் நான் புதிய உடன்படிக்கையைச் செய்துகொள்ளும் நாட்கள் வருகிறது.
Therefore howl you for Moab on all sides; cry out against the shorn men [in] a gloomy place. I will weep for you,
32 அது அவர்களுடைய முற்பிதாக்களை என்னுடைய கரத்தினால் எகிப்திலிருந்து வெளியே வழிநடத்திக் கொண்டுவந்தபோது, நான் அவர்களுடன் செய்த உடன்படிக்கையைப்போல் இருப்பதில்லை. ஏனெனில், நான் அவர்கள் கணவனாயிருந்தபோதும், அவர்கள் என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறினார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
O vine of Aserema, as with the weeping of Jazer: your branches are gone over the sea, they reached the cities of Jazer: destruction has come upon your fruits, [and] upon your grape gatherers.
33 “அந்த நாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு, நான் இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்துடன் செய்துகொள்ளும் உடன்படிக்கை இதுவே” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். “நான் எனது சட்டங்களை அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களில் வைப்பேன். அதை அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் எழுதுவேன். நான் அவர்களுடைய இறைவனாய் இருப்பேன், அவர்கள் எனது மக்களாய் இருப்பார்கள்.
Joy and gladness have been utterly swept off the land of Moab: and [though] there was wine in your presses, in the morning they trod it not, neither in the evening did they raise the cry of joy.
34 இனிமேல் ஒருவன் தன் அயலானுக்கோ, தன் சகோதரனுக்கோ, ‘யெகோவாவை அறிந்துகொள்’ என்று போதிக்கமாட்டான். ஏனெனில், அவர்களில் மிகச் சிறியவனிலிருந்து பெரியவன்வரை எல்லோரும் என்னை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். “நான் அவர்களுடைய அநியாயங்களை மன்னிப்பேன். அவர்களுடைய பாவங்களை ஒருபோதும் ஞாபகத்தில் வைத்திருக்கமாட்டேன்.”
From the cry of Esebon even to Aetam their cities uttered their voice, from Zogor to Oronaim, and their tidings [as] a heifer of three years old, for the water also of Nebrin shall be dried up.
35 யெகோவா சொல்வது இதுவே: பகலில் ஒளிகொடுக்க சூரியனை நியமிக்கிறவர் அவரே. இரவில் வெளிச்சம் கொடுக்க சந்திரனுக்கும், நட்சத்திரங்களுக்கும் கட்டளையிடுகிறவர் அவரே. கடலின் அலைகள் இரையும்படி அதைக் கலக்குகிறவரும் அவரே. சேனைகளின் யெகோவா என்பது அவருடைய பெயர்.
And I will destroy Moab, says the Lord, as he comes up to the altar, and burns incense to his gods.
36 “இந்தக் கட்டளைகள் என் பார்வையில் அகன்றுபோனால் மட்டுமே, இஸ்ரயேலரின் சந்ததிகள் என்முன் ஒரு நாடாக இல்லாதபடி ஒழிந்துபோவார்கள்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
Therefore the heart of Moab shall sound as pipes, my heart shall sound as a pipe for the shorn men; forasmuch as what [every] man has gained has perished from him.
37 யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “மேலே உள்ள வானங்களை அளக்க முடியுமானால், கீழேயுள்ள பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்களை ஆராயக் கூடுமானால் மட்டுமே, அவர்கள் செய்திருக்கிற எல்லாவற்றிற்காகவும் நான் இஸ்ரயேலின் வம்சத்தார் அனைவரையும் புறக்கணிப்பேன்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
They shall all have their heads shaved in every place, and every beard shall be shaved; and all hands shall beat [the breasts], and on all loins shall be sackcloth.
38 “நாட்கள் வருகின்றன. அப்பொழுது இந்த நகரம் அனானயேலின் கோபுரத்திலிருந்து, மூலைவாசல் வரையும் எனக்காகத் திரும்பக் கட்டப்படும் என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
And on all the housetops of Moab, and in his streets [shall be mourning]: for I have broken [him], says the Lord, as a vessel, which is useless.
39 அந்நாட்களில் அங்கிருந்து காரேப் குன்றுக்கு நேராக அளவுநூல் பிடிக்கப்பட்டு, அதன்பின் கோவாத் பக்கமாய் திரும்பும்.
How has he changed! how has Moab turned [his] back! Moab is put to shame, and become a laughing stock, and an object of anger to all that are round about him.
40 செத்த உடல்களும், சாம்பலும் வீசப்படும் பள்ளத்தாக்கு முழுவதும், கிழக்கிலே குதிரை வாசலின் மூலை வரையுள்ள கீதரோன் பள்ளத்தாக்குவரை இருக்கிற நிலங்கள் எல்லாமுமே யெகோவாவுக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாய் இருக்கும். அப்பட்டணம் இனி ஒருபோதும் வேரோடு பிடுங்கப்படுவதுமில்லை, அழிக்கப்படுவதுமில்லை” என்கிறார்.
For thus said the Lord;
Carioth is taken, and the strongholds have been taken together.
And Moab shall perish from being a multitude, because he has magnified himself against the Lord.
A snare, and fear, and the pit, are upon you, O inhabitant of Moab.
He that flees from the terror shall fall into the pit, and he that comes up out of the pit shall even be taken in the snare: for I will bring these things upon Moab in the year of their visitation.
