எசேக்கியேல் 29

1 அரசன் யோயாக்கீன் சிறைப்பிடிக்கப்பட்ட பத்தாம் வருடம், பத்தாம் மாதம், பன்னிரண்டாம் நாளிலே, யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது.

In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day of the month, the LORD’s word came to me, saying,

2 “மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ எகிப்தின் அரசனாகிய பார்வோனுக்கு எதிராக உன் முகத்தை திருப்பி, அவனுக்கும் முழு எகிப்திற்கும் விரோதமாய் இறைவாக்குரைத்து சொல்.

“Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.

3 நீ அவனோடு பேசிச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. “‘எகிப்தின் அரசனாகிய பார்வோனே, நீரோடைகளின் நடுவே கிடக்கும் பெரும் இராட்சத முதலையே! நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறேன். “நீயோ, நைல் நதி என்னுடையது; அதை எனக்காக நானே உண்டாக்கினேன்” என சொல்லிக்கொள்கிறாய்.

Speak and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the middle of his rivers, that has said, ‘My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.’

4 ஆனால் நான் உன் தாடைகளில் தூண்டில் மாட்டி, உன் நீரோடைகளின் மீன்களை உன் செதில்களில் ஒட்டிக்கொள்ளச் செய்வேன். உன் செதில்களில் ஒட்டிக்கொள்ளும் எல்லா மீன்களோடும் சேர்த்து, உன் நீரோடைகளின் நடுவிலிருந்து நான் உன்னை இழுத்தெடுப்பேன்.

I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will make the fish of your rivers stick to your scales. I will bring you up out of the middle of your rivers, with all the fish of your rivers which stick to your scales.

5 நான் உன்னையும் உன் நீரோடைகளின் எல்லா மீன்களையும் பாலைவனத்தில் விட்டுவிடுவேன். திறந்த வெளியிலே நீ விழுவாய். நீ சேர்க்கப்படவோ எடுக்கப்படவோமாட்டாய். நான் உன்னைப் பூமியின் மிருகங்களுக்கும், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளுக்கும் உணவாகக் கொடுப்பேன்.

I’ll cast you out into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers. You’ll fall on the open field. You won’t be brought together or gathered. I have given you for food to the animals of the earth and to the birds of the sky.

6 அப்பொழுது எகிப்தில் வாழும் அனைவரும் நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள். “‘நீ இஸ்ரயேலருக்கு நாணல் புல்லினாலான ஊன்றுகோலாயிருந்தாய்.

“‘“All the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

7 அவர்கள் உன்னைத் தங்கள் கைகளினால் இறுக்கி பிடித்தபோது, நீ ஒடிந்துபோய், அவர்கள் விலாவையெல்லாம் பிளப்பாய்; அவர்கள் உன்மேல் சாயும்போது, நீ முறிந்து, அவர்கள் இடுப்பு முழுவதையும் மரத்துப் போகச்செய்வாய்.

When they took hold of you by your hand, you broke and tore all their shoulders. When they leaned on you, you broke and paralysed all of their thighs.”

8 “‘ஆகவே ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நானே உனக்கு விரோதமாய் ஒரு வாளைக் கொண்டுவந்து, உன் மனிதர்களையும் அவர்களுடைய மிருகங்களையும் கொல்லுவேன்.

“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will bring a sword on you, and will cut off man and animal from you.

9 எகிப்து அழிந்து பாழ்நிலமாகும். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள். “‘நைல் நதி என்னுடையது; “நானே அதை உன்டாக்கினேன்” என்று நீ சொன்னாய் அல்லவோ?

The land of Egypt will be a desolation and a waste. Then they will know that I am the LORD. “‘“Because he has said, ‘The river is mine, and I have made it,’

10 ஆகவே நான் உனக்கும் உன் நீரோடைகளுக்கும் விரோதமாக இருக்கிறேன். மிக்தோல் தொடக்கம்முதல் அஸ்வான்வரை, எத்தியோப்பியாவின் எல்லைவரையுள்ள எகிப்து நாட்டை இடிபாடுகளுடைய பாழ்நிலமாக்குவேன்.

therefore, behold, I am against you and against your rivers. I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Seveneh even to the border of Ethiopia.

11 மனித கால்களோ, மிருகத்தின் கால்களோ அதைக் கடப்பதில்லை. நாற்பது வருடங்களுக்கு ஒருவரும் அங்கு வாழப்போவதுமில்லை.

No foot of man will pass through it, nor will any animal foot pass through it. It won’t be inhabited for forty years.

12 பாழாய்ப்போன நாடுகளின் மத்தியில் எகிப்தையும் நான் பாழாக்குவேன். இடிபாடுகளுள்ள பட்டணங்களிடையே, அவளது பட்டணம் நாற்பது வருடங்கள் கிடக்கும். நான் எகிப்தியரைப் பல நாடுகளுக்குள்ளும் சிதறிப்போகச்செய்து அவர்களை நாடுகளுக்கூடே சிதறடிப்பேன்.

I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the middle of the countries that are desolate. Her cities amongst the cities that are laid waste will be a desolation forty years. I will scatter the Egyptians amongst the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.”

13 “‘எனினும், ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே நான் அந்த நாற்பது வருடங்களின் முடிவில், எகிப்தியரை, சிதறடிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த பல நாடுகளுக்குள்ளும் இருந்து, ஒன்றுசேர்ப்பேன்.

“‘For the Lord GOD says: “At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered.

14 திரும்பவும் நான் அவர்களைச் சிறையிருப்பிலிருந்து கொண்டுவந்து அவர்களுடைய முன்னோரின் நாடாகிய எகிப்தின் பத்ரோசுக்குக் கொண்டுவருவேன். அங்கே அவர்கள் ஒரு சிறிய அரசாக இருப்பார்கள்.

I will reverse the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth. There they will be a lowly kingdom.

15 அது அரசுகளிலெல்லாம் சிறியதாயிருக்கும். இனியொருபோதும் மற்ற நாடுகளின்மேல் தன்னை அது உயர்த்தாது. இனியொருகாலமும் அது நாடுகளுக்குமேல் ஆளுகைசெய்யாத அளவுக்கு அதை நான் பலவீனப்படுத்துவேன்.

It will be the lowest of the kingdoms. It won’t lift itself up above the nations any more. I will diminish them so that they will no longer rule over the nations.

16 எகிப்து இனியொருபோதும் இஸ்ரயேலரின் நம்பிக்கையின் ஆதாரமாய் இருக்கமாட்டாது. ஆனால் ஆதரவுக்காக அவளிடம் திரும்பியவர்களின் பாவத்தின் ஒரு ஞாபகமாய் அது இருக்கும். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா நானே என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்றார்.’”

It will no longer be the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to memory, when they turn to look after them. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.”’”

17 அரசன் யோயாக்கீன் சிறைப்பிடிக்கப்பட்ட இருபத்தேழாம் வருடம், முதலாம் மாதம், முதலாம் நாளிலே யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது. அவர் என்னிடம்,

It came to pass in the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the LORD’s word came to me, saying,

18 “மனுபுத்திரனே, பாபிலோன் அரசனாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் தனது இராணுவத்தைத் தீருவுக்கு விரோதமாய் அனுப்பி, கடும் தாக்குதலை மேற்கொண்டான். ஒவ்வொருவனின் தலையும் மொட்டையாக்கப்பட்டு, ஒவ்வொருவனின் தோலும் புண்ணாகும்வரை தோலுரிக்கப்பட்டன. அப்படியிருந்தும் அவனும் அவனுடைய இராணுவமும், தீருவுக்கு எதிராக நடத்திய படையெடுப்பின் பலனைப் பெறவில்லை.”

“Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn; yet he had no wages, nor did his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.

19 ஆகையால் ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே, நான் எகிப்தை பாபிலோனின் அரசனாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாருக்குக் கையளிக்கப்போகிறேன். அதன் செல்வத்தை அவன் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போவான். அவன் தன் இராணுவங்களுக்குக் கூலியாக நாட்டைச் சூறையாடிக் கொள்ளையிடுவான்.

Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. He will carry off her multitude, take her plunder, and take her prey. That will be the wages for his army.

20 அவனும் அவனுடைய இராணுவமும் அதை எனக்காகச் செய்தபடியினால், அம்முயற்சிக்கு வெகுமதியாக எகிப்தை அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன் என ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

I have given him the land of Egypt as his payment for which he served, because they worked for me,’ says the Lord GOD.

21 “அந்த நாளிலே நான் இஸ்ரயேலருக்குப் புதுப்பெலனைக் கொடுத்து, அவர்கள் மத்தியில் உன் வாயைத் திறப்பேன். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்றார்.”

“In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth amongst them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
