Salmos 48
1 Grande es el Señor y grandemente digno de ser alabado, en la ciudad de nuestro Dios, en su santo monte.
The song of salm, of the sones of Chore. The Lord is greet, and worthi to be preisid ful myche; in the citee of oure God, in the hooli hil of hym.
2 Hermosa provincia, la alegría de toda la tierra, es la montaña de Sión, haya en el extremo norte, la montaña de Dios, la ciudad del gran Rey.
It is foundid in the ful out ioiyng of al erthe; the hil of Syon; the sidis of the north, the citee of the greet kyng.
3 En sus palacios, Dios es conocido como una torre fuerte.
God schal be knowun in the housis therof; whanne he schal take it.
4 Para ver los reyes se unieron por acuerdo, se unieron y avanzaron contra ella.
For lo! the kyngis of erthe weren gaderid togidere; thei camen into o place.
5 Ellos vieron la ciudad. y estaban llenos de asombro; se turbaron y huyeron con miedo.
Thei seynge so wondriden; thei weren disturblid, thei weren mouyd togidere, tremblyng took hem.
6 El miedo se adueñó de ellos los sacudió y sufrieron dolor, como en una mujer en el parto.
There sorewis as of a womman trauelynge of child;
7 Por ti las naves de Tarsis están quebradas como por un viento del este.
in a greet spirit thou schalt al to-breke the schippis of Tharsis.
8 Cómo llegó a nuestros oídos, así lo hemos visto, en la ciudad del Señor de los ejércitos, en la ciudad de nuestro Dios; Dios la afirmará para siempre. (Selah)
As we herden, so we sien, in the citee of the Lord of vertues, in the citee of oure God; God hath foundid that citee with outen ende.
9 Nos acordamos de tu misericordia, oh Dios, mientras estábamos en tu Templo.
God, we han resseyued thi mercy; in the myddis of thi temple.
10 Como corresponde a tu nombre, oh Dios, así es tu alabanza hasta lo último de la tierra; tu diestra está llena de justicia.
Aftir thi name, God, so thin heriyng is spred abrood in to the endis of erthe; thi riyt hond is ful of riytfulnesse.
11 Que haya alegría en el monte de Sion, y que se alegren las hijas de Judá, por tus sabias decisiones.
The hil of Sion be glad, and the douytris of Judee be fulli ioiful; for thi domes, Lord.
12 Sigue tu camino por Sión, dale la vuelta y enumera sus torres.
Cumpasse ye Syon, and biclippe ye it; telle ye in the touris therof.
13 Tome nota de sus fuertes muros, mirando bien sus palacios; para que le cuentes a la generación que viene después.
Sette ye youre hertis in the vertu of him; and departe ye the housis of hym, that ye telle out in an other generacioun.
14 Porque este Dios es nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos: él será nuestro guía eternamente.
For this is God, oure God, in to withouten ende, and in to the world of world; he schal gouerne vs in to worldis.
