Malaquías 2
1 Y ahora, oh sacerdotes, esta orden es para ustedes.
And now, A! ye preestis, this maundement is to you.
2 Si no escuchan y se lo toman en serio, para glorificar mi nombre, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, les enviaré la maldición y pondré maldición sobre su bendición; en verdad, incluso ahora les he echado una maldición porque no lo toman en serio.
If ye wolen here, and if ye `wolen not putte on the herte, that ye yyue glorie to my name, seith the Lord of oostis, Y schal sende nedynesse in to you, and Y schal curse to youre blessyngis; and Y schal curse hem, for ye han not putte on the herte.
3 Mira, voy a reprender su descendencia y les echaré estiércol en la cara, el estiércol de los animales sus fiestas solemnes; y serán removidos con eso.
Lo! Y schal caste to you the arm, and Y schal scatere on youre cheere the drit of youre solempnytees, and it schal take you with it.
4 Y y sabrán que yo les he enviado esta orden, para que sea mi pacto con Leví, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.
And ye schulen wite, that Y sente to you this maundement, that my couenaunt were with Leuy, seith the Lord of oostis.
5 Mi pacto con él fue de vida y paz, y se los di; por su parte temía, y me reverencio y honraba mi nombre.
My couenaunt was with hym of lijf and pees; and Y yaf to hym a drede, and he dredde me, and he dredde of face of my name.
6 La verdadera enseñanza estaba en su boca, y no había maldad en sus labios; caminaba conmigo en paz y justicia, alejando a muchas personas del mal.
The lawe of trewthe was in his mouth, and wickidnesse was not foundun in hise lippis; in pees and in equite he walkide with me, and he turnede awei many men fro wickidnesse.
7 Porque es correcto que los labios del sacerdote guardan la sabiduría, y que los hombres busquen la ley de su boca; porque él es el siervo enviado del Señor de los ejércitos.
For the lippis of a prest kepen science, and thei schulen ayen seke the lawe of `the mouth of hym, for he is an aungel of the Lord of oostes.
8 Pero se han apartado del camino; han hecho tropezar a muchas personas; han corrompido él acuerdo con Leví, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.
But ye wenten awei fro the weie, and sclaundren ful many men in the lawe; ye maden voide the couenaunt of Leuy, seith the Lord of oostis.
9 Y, por lo tanto, los he humillado y despreciado ante toda la gente, así como no han mantenido mis caminos y en la ley hacen acepción de personas.
For which thing and Y yaf you worthi to be dispisid, and bowen to alle puplis, as ye kepten not my weies, and token a face in the lawe.
10 ¿No tenemos todos un solo padre? ¿No nos ha creado un solo Dios? ¿Por qué estamos, cada uno de nosotros, actuando falsamente con su hermano, profanando el acuerdo de nuestros padres?
Whether not o fadir is of alle you? whether o God made not of nouyt you? Whi therfor ech of you dispisith his brother, and defoulith the couenaunt of youre fadris?
11 Judá ha estado actuando falsamente, y se ha cometido abominación en Jerusalén; porque Judá ha hecho inmundo el lugar santo del Señor, que él ama, y ha tomado como esposa a la hija de un dios extranjero.
Judas trespasside, and abhomynacioun is maad in Israel, and in Jerusalem; for Judas defoulide the halewyng of the Lord, which he louyde, and he hadde the douyter of an alien god.
12 El Señor hará que el hombre que hace esto sea destruido de las tiendas de Jacob, al maestro y al estudiante aunque haga una ofrenda al Señor de los ejércitos.
The Lord schal distrie the man that dide this thing, the maister and disciple, fro the tabernacle of Jacob, and him that offrith a yifte to the Lord of oostis.
13 Y de nuevo lo hacen: cubren el altar del Señor con llanto y dolor, porque ya no mira la ofrenda ni la acepta con agrado de su mano.
And eftsoone ye diden this thing; ye hiliden with teeris the auter of the Lord, with wepyng and mourenyng; so that Y biholde no more to sacrifice, nether resseyue ony thing plesaunt of youre hond.
14 Pero tú dices: ¿Por qué razón? Porque el Señor ha sido testigo entre tú y la esposa de tus primeros años, a quien no has sido fiel, aunque ella es tu compañera y la esposa de tu pacto.
And ye seiden, For what cause? For the Lord witnesside bitwixe thee and the wijf of thi `puberte, that is, tyme of mariage, which thou dispisidist, and this is thi felowe, and wijf of thi couenaunt.
15 Pero ninguno que tenga remanente del Espíritu lo ha hecho así, aunque tenía el remanente del espíritu? Y por qué no? Y qué hizo éste mientras buscaba descendencia de Dios. Así que, piensa en tu espíritu, y que nadie sea desleal con la esposa de tu juventud.
Whether oon made not, and residue of spirit is his? and what sekith oon, no but the seed of God? Therfore kepe ye youre spirit, and nyle thou dispise the wijf of thi yongthe;
16 Porque yo estoy en contra del divorcio, dice el Señor, el Dios de Israel, y contra el que cubre la violencia con su vestidura, dice el Señor de los ejércitos. Así que, presta atención a tu espíritu y no sean desleales.
whanne thou hatist hir, leue thou hir, seith the Lord God of Israel. Forsothe wickidnesse schal kyuere the closyng of hym, seith the Lord of oostis; kepe ye youre spirit, and nyle ye dispise.
17 Has cansado al Señor con tus palabras. Y todavía dices: ¿Cómo lo hemos cansado? Al decir: Todo el que hace lo malo es bueno a los ojos del Señor, y él se deleita en ellos; o ¿Dónde está Dios el juez?
Ye maden the Lord for to trauele in youre wordis, and ye seiden, Wherynne maden we hym for to trauele? In that that ye seien, Ech man that doith yuel, is good in the siyt of the Lord, and siche plesen to hym; ether certis where is the God of doom?
