Levítico 9

1 Y al octavo día, Moisés mandó llamar a Aarón, a sus hijos y a los hombres responsables de Israel;

And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called for Aaron, and for his sons, —and for the elders of Israel;

2 Y dijo a Aarón: Toma un becerro como ofrenda por el pecado y un cordero macho como ofrenda quemada, sin marca, y haz una ofrenda de ellos ante el Señor.

and said unto Aaron—Take for thyself a choice calf, as a sin-bearer, and a ram for an ascending-sacrifice, each without defect, —and bring them near before Yahweh;

3 Y dile a los hijos de Israel: Tomen un chivo para el sacrificio por el pecado, y un buey y un cordero, en su primer año, sin ninguna marca, como ofrenda quemada.

and unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, —Take ye a he-goat, as a sin-bearer, and a calf and a young sheep, each a year old, without defect for an ascending-sacrifice;

4 Y un buey y un carnero para las ofrendas de paz, para ser sacrificados delante del Señor; y una ofrenda de harina mezclada con aceite: porque hoy él Señor se aparecerá ante ti.

and an ox and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Yahweh, and a meal-offering overflowed with oil, —for, to-day, doth, Yahweh, appear unto you.

5 Y tomaron las cosas ordenadas por Moisés, ante la tienda de reunión, y todo el pueblo se acercó, esperando ante el Señor.

So they brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting, —and all the assembly drew near, and stood before Yahweh.

6 Y Moisés dijo: Esto es lo que el Señor ha dicho que deben hacer; y verán la gloria del Señor.

And Moses said—This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded that ye shall do, —that the glory of Yahweh may appear unto you.

7 Entonces Moisés dijo a Aarón: Acércate al altar y haz tu ofrenda por el pecado y tu ofrenda quemada para quitarte el pecado y el pecado del pueblo, y haz la ofrenda del pueblo para quitar el pecado; como el Señor ha dado órdenes.

and Moses said unto Aaron—Draw near unto the altar, and offer thy sin-bearer and thine ascending-sacrifice, and put a propitiatory-covering about thyself and about the people, —and offer the oblation of the people and put a propitiatory-covering about them, As Yahweh hath commanded.

8 Entonces Aarón se acercó al altar y mató al buey para la ofrenda por el pecado de él.

So Aaron drew near unto the altar, —and slew the sin-bearing calf which was for himself;

9 Y los hijos de Aarón le dieron la sangre y él puso su dedo en la sangre y lo puso en los cuernos del altar, drenando la sangre en la base del altar;

and the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put [thereof] upon the horns of the altar, —and the [remainder of the] blood, poured he out at the base of the altar;

10 Pero la grasa y los riñones y la grasa en el hígado de la ofrenda por el pecado fueron quemados por él en el altar cuando el Señor dio órdenes a Moisés.

and with the fat and the kidneys and the caul a from the liver, of the sin-bearer, made he a perfume at the altar, —As Yahweh commanded Moses.

11 Y la carne y la piel se quemaron con fuego fuera del círculo de la tienda;

But, the flesh and the skin, consumed he with fire, outside the camp.

12 Y mató el holocausto; y los hijos de Aarón le dieron la sangre y él puso un poco de ella sobre y alrededor del altar;

Then slew he the ascending-sacrifice, —and the sons of Aaron presented unto him the blood, and he dashed it against the altar round about.

13 Y le dieron las partes de la ofrenda quemada, en su orden, y la cabeza, para ser quemada sobre el altar.

And the ascending-sacrifice, presented they unto him piece by piece thereof also the head, —and he made a perfume upon the altar:

14 Y las partes interiores y las piernas, cuando habían sido lavadas con agua, se quemaron en el holocausto sobre el altar.

and he bathed the inwards and the legs, —and made a perfume upon the ascending-sacrifice at the altar.

15 E hizo una ofrenda para el pueblo y tomó la cabra del sacrificio por el pueblo y la mató, ofreciéndola por el pecado, de la misma manera que el primero.

Then brought he near the oblation of the people, —and took the sin-bearing goat which pertained to the people, and slew it and made therewith a sin-bearer, like the first.

16 Y tomó la ofrenda quemada, ofreciéndola de la manera ordenada;

Then brought he near the ascending-sacrifice, —and offered it, according to the regulation,

17 Y puso la ofrenda de la comida delante del Señor, y tomando un poco de ella en la mano, la quemó en el altar, aparte de la ofrenda quemada de la mañana.

Then brought he near the meal-offering, and filled his hand therefrom, and made a perfume upon the altar, —in addition to the ascending-sacrifice of the morning.

18 Y mató al buey y a la oveja, que eran las ofrendas de paz para el pueblo; y los hijos de Aarón le dieron la sangre y él puso un poco de ella sobre y alrededor del altar.

Then slew he the ox, and the ram, as a peace-offering, which pertained unto the people, —and the sons of Aaron presented the blood unto him, and he dashed it against the altar, round about;

19 Y en cuanto a la grasa del buey y la cola gruesa de la oveja y la grasa que cubre las partes internas y los riñones y la grasa en el hígado;

and the portions of fat from the ox, —and from the ram, the fat-tail, and the covering, and the kidneys, and the caul of the liver;

20 Pusieron la grasa sobre los pechos, y la grasa se quemó en el altar.

and they put the portions of fat upon the breasts, —and he made a perfume with the fat at the altar;

21 Y Aarón tomó los pechos y la pierna derecha, meciéndolos para hacer una ofrenda mecida ante el Señor, como Moisés dio órdenes.

but the breasts and the right shoulder, did Aaron wave as a wave-offering, before Yahweh, —as Moses commanded,

22 Y Aarón, alzando sus manos a la gente, les dio una bendición; y descendió de la ofrenda por el pecado, de la ofrenda quemada, y de la ofrenda de paz.

Then Aaron lifted up his hands towards the people, and blessed them, —and he came down from offering the sin-bearer, and the ascending-sacrifice and the peace-offering.

23 Entonces Moisés y Aarón entraron en el tabernáculo de reunión, salieron y dieron una bendición al pueblo, y la gloria del Señor fue vista por todo el pueblo.

And when Moses and Aaron had entered into the tent of meeting, —and had come forth, and blessed the people, then appeared the glory of Yahweh, unto all the people;

24 Y salió fuego de delante del Señor, que quemó la ofrenda sobre el altar y la grasa. y cuando todo el pueblo lo vio, dieron un fuerte grito, cayendo sobre sus rostros.

yea, there came forth fire from before Yahweh, and consumed upon the altar, the ascending-sacrifice and the portions of fat, —and all the people beheld and shouted, and fell down upon their faces.
