1 Crónicas 9
1 Así que todo Israel fue enumerado por sus geneologias; están registrados en el libro de los reyes de Israel. Y a Judá se lo llevaron como prisionero a Babilonia por su pecado.
And all Israel have reckoned themselves by genealogy, and lo, they are written on the book of the kings of Israel and Judah — they were removed to Babylon for their trespass.
2 Los primeros en retomar su herencia en sus ciudades fueron: Israel, los sacerdotes, los levitas y los sirvientes del templo.
And the first inhabitants, who [are] in their possession, in their cities, of Israel, [are] the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
3 Y en Jerusalén vivían algunos de los hijos de Judá, Benjamín, Efraín y Manasés;
And in Jerusalem dwelt of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, and of the sons of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4 Utai, el hijo de Amiud, el hijo de Omri, el hijo de Imri, el hijo de Bani, de los hijos de Fares, el hijo de Judá.
Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, of the sons of Pharez, son of Judah.
5 Y de los silonitas: Asaías el mayor, y sus hijos.
And of the Shilonite: Asaiah the first-born, and his sons.
6 De los hijos de Zera, Jeuel y sus hermanos, seiscientos noventa.
And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 De los hijos de Benjamín: Salu, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Hodavias, hijo de Asenua.
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah,
8 E Ibneias, hijo de Jeroham, Ela, hijo de Uzi, hijo de Micri, y Mesulam, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Reuel, hijo de Ibnias;
and Ibneiah son of Jeroham, and Elah son of Uzzi, son of Michri, and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah.
9 Y sus hermanos, en la lista de sus generaciones, novecientos cincuenta y seis. Todos estos hombres eran jefes de familia, enumerados por los nombres de sus padres.
And their brethren, according to their generations, [are] nine hundred and fifty and six. All these [are] men, heads of fathers, according to the house of their fathers.
10 Y de los sacerdotes: Jedaías y Joiarib y Jaquin.
And of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,
11 Y Azarías, hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraiot, hijo de Ahitob, jefe principal de la casa de Dios;
and Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader in the house of God;
12 Adaía, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pasur, hijo de Malquías, y Masai, hijo de Adiel, hijo de Jazera, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Mesilemit, hijo de Imer.
and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah, and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer.
13 Y sus hermanos, jefes de sus familias, mil setecientos sesenta: hombres capaces, para él servicio del templo de Dios.
And their brethren, heads to the house of their fathers, a thousand and seven hundred and sixty, mighty in valour, [are] for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 Y de los levitas: Semaías, hijo de Hasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, de los hijos de Merari;
And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15 Y Bacbacar, Heres, Galal, Matanias, el hijo de Micaía, el hijo de Zicri, el hijo de Asaf;
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah son of Micah, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;
16 Obadias, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún, y Berequías, hijo de Asa, hijo de Elcana, que vivían en las pequeñas aldeas de los netofatitas.
and Obadiah son of Shemariah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah, son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who is dwelling in the villages of the Netophathite.
17 Y los encargados de las puertas: Salum y Acub, Talmón, Ahiman y sus hermanos: Salum era el jefe.
And the gatekeepers [are] Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren — Shallum [is] the head;
18 Hasta entonces habían estado en la puerta del rey, al este. Eran guardianes de las puertas de los campamentos de los hijos de Leví.
and hitherto they [are] at the gate of the king eastward; they [are] the gatekeepers for the companies of the sons of Levi.
19 Y Salum, el hijo de Coré, el hijo de Ebiasaf, el hijo de Coré, y sus hermanos, de su familia, los coeritas, eran responsables de todo lo que debía hacerse en relación con el orden del culto, guardianes de las puertas del santuario; como sus padres habían tenido el cuidado del santuario del Señor, siendo guardianes de la puerta.
And Shallum son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, [are] over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, and their fathers [are] over the camp of Jehovah, keepers of the entrance;
20 En el pasado, Finees, el hijo de Eleazar, había gobernado sobre ellos; ¡Que el Señor esté con él!
and Phinehas son of Eleazar hath been leader over them formerly; Jehovah [is] with him.
21 Zacarías, el hijo de Meselemías, era el guardián de la puerta de la tienda de la reunión.
Zechariah son of Meshelemiah [is] gatekeeper at the opening of the tent of meeting.
22 Había doscientos doce cuya misión era mantener la puerta. Estos fueron enumerados por las familias en los lugares del país donde vivían, a quienes David y Samuel, el vidente, colocaron en sus posiciones responsables.
All of those who are chosen for gatekeepers at the thresholds [are] two hundred and twelve; they [are] in their villages, by their genealogy; they whom David and Samuel the seer appointed in their office.
23 Así que ellos y sus hijos cuidaban las puertas del Templo del Señor, vigilantes del santuario.
And they and their sons [are] over the gates of the house of Jehovah, even of the house of the tent, by watches.
24 Había guardias de las puertas en los cuatro lados, al este, al oeste, al norte y al sur.
At four sides are the gatekeepers, east, west, north, and south.
25 Y sus hermanos, en los países donde vivían, debían venir cada siete días para estar con ellos de vez en cuando.
And their brethren in their villages [are] to come in for seven days from time to time with these.
26 Porque los cuatro jefes de las puertas, que eran levitas, tenían una posición especial, cuidando las habitaciones y los tesoros de la casa de Dios.
For in office [are] the four chiefs of the gatekeepers, they are Levites, and they have been over the chambers, and over the treasuries of the house of God,
27 Sus dormitorios estaban alrededor del templo de Dios, porque eran responsables de cuidarlo y eran responsables de abrirlo cada mañana.
and round about the house of God they lodge, for on them [is] the watch, and they [are] over the opening, even morning by morning.
28 Algunos de ellos cuidaban de los recipientes que se usaban en la adoración, para mantener un registro de ellos cuando entraron y cuando los sacaron nuevamente.
And [some] of them [are] over the vessels of service, for by number they bring them in, and by number they take them out.
29 Y algunos de ellos eran responsables de las cosas santas y de los vasos del Lugar Santísimo, y de la comida y el vino y el aceite y el incienso y las especias.
And [some] of them are appointed over the vessels, even over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Y algunos de los hijos de los sacerdotes fueron responsables de triturar las especias.
And [some] of the sons of the priests are mixing the mixture for spices.
31 Y Matatías, uno de los levitas, el hijo mayor de Salum el Coreita, fue el responsable de cocinar las tortas para la ofrenda.
And Mattithiah, of the Levites (he [is] the first-born to Shallum the Korahite), [is] in office over the work of the pans.
32 Y algunos hijos de los Coatitas, y de sus hermanos fueron responsables del pan sagrado que fue puesto en orden delante del Señor, para que esté listo cada sábado.
And of the sons of the Kohathite, [some] of their brethren [are] over the bread of the arrangement, to prepare [it] sabbath by sabbath.
33 Y estos eran los que ordenaban la música y las canciones, los jefes de las familias de los levitas, que vivían en las habitaciones y estaban libres de otros trabajos, porque su trabajo continuaba día y noche.
And these who sing, heads of fathers of the Levites, in the chambers, [are] free, for by day and by night [they are] over them in the work.
34 Estos eran jefes de familia de los levitas en sus generaciones, hombres principales; vivían en Jerusalén.
These heads of the fathers of the Levites throughout their generations [are] heads. These have dwelt in Jerusalem.
35 Y en Gabaón vivía el padre de Gabaón, Jeiel, cuya esposa se llamaba Maaca;
And in Gibeon dwelt hath the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
36 Y Abdón su hijo mayor, y Zur, Cis, y Baal, Ner y Nadab.
and his son, the first-born, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 Y Gedor y Ahio y Zacarías y Miclot.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Miclot fue el padre de Simeam. Vivían con sus hermanos en Jerusalén frente a sus hermanos.
And Mikloth begat Shimeam, and they also, over-against their brethren, have dwelt in Jerusalem with their brethren.
39 Y Ner fue el padre de Cis; y Cis fue el padre de Saúl; y Saúl fue el padre de Jonatán y Malquisua, Abinadab y Esbaal.
And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
40 Y el hijo de Jonatán fue Merib-baal; y Merib-baal fue el padre de Micaia.
And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begat Micah.
41 Y los hijos de Micaia: Pitón, Melec y Tarea y Acaz.
And sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea,
42 Y Acaz fue el padre de Jara; y Jara fue el padre de Alemet y Azmavet y Zimri; y Zimri fue el padre de Mosa.
and Ahaz — he begat Jaarah, and Jaarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri begat Moza,
43 Y Mosa fue el padre de Bina; Y Refaias era su hijo, Elasa su hijo, Azel su hijo.
and Moza begat Binea, and Rephaiah [is] his son. Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44 Y Azel tuvo seis hijos, cuyos nombres son: Azricam, su hijo mayor, Bocru, Ismael, Searias Obadias y Hanan: estos fueron los hijos de Azel.
And to Azel [are] six sons, and these their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these [are] sons of Azel.
