Salmos 29

1 Dad a Jehová, o! hijos de fuertes, dad a Jehová la gloria y la fortaleza.

“A psalm of David.” Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye sons of the mighty, ascribe unto the Lord glory and strength.

2 Dad a Jehová la gloria de su nombre: humilláos a Jehová en el glorioso santuario.

Ascribe unto the Lord the glory of his name; bow down to the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3 Voz de Jehová sobre las aguas: el Dios de gloria hizo tronar: Jehová, sobre las muchas aguas.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth, the Lord—upon mighty waters.

4 Voz de Jehová con potencia: voz de Jehová con gloria.

The voice of the Lord [resoundeth] with power; the voice of the Lord [resoundeth] with majesty.

5 Voz de Jehová que quebranta los cedros; y quebrantó Jehová los cedros del Líbano.

The voice of the Lord breaketh in pieces the cedars; yea, the Lord shivereth the cedars of Lebanon;

6 E hízolos saltar como los becerros: al Líbano, y al Sirión como hijos de unicornios.

And he maketh them skip like a calf; Lebanon and Siryon like young reems.

7 Voz de Jehová que corta llamas de fuego.

The voice of the Lord heweth out flames of fire.

8 Voz de Jehová que hará temblar al desierto: hará temblar Jehová al desierto de Cádes.

The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 Voz de Jehová que hará estar de parto a las ciervas, y desnudará a las breñas: y en su templo todos los suyos le dicen gloria.

The voice of the Lord causeth the hinds to start, and maketh bare forests: and in his temple every thing speaketh [of his] glory.

10 Jehová estuvo en el diluvio, y asentóse Jehová por rey para siempre.

The Lord sat [enthroned] at the flood: and the Lord will sit as King for ever.

11 Jehová dará fortaleza a su pueblo: Jehová bendecirá a su pueblo en paz.

The Lord will give strength unto his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.
