< Ayuub 8 >
1 Markaasaa Bildad oo ahaa reer Shuuxii u jawaabay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
Then responded Bildad the Shuhite, and said: —
2 Ilaa goormaad waxyaalahan ku hadlaysaa? Oo ilaa goormaa erayada afkaagu ahaanayaan sida dabayl xoog badan?
How long wilt thou speak these things? Or, as a mighty wind, shall be the sayings of thy mouth?
3 War ma Ilaah baa garsooridda qalloociya? Mase Ilaaha Qaadirka ah baa caddaaladda qalloociya?
Should, GOD, pervert justice? Or, the Almighty, pervert righteousness?
4 Haddii carruurtaadii ay isaga ku dembaabeen, Wuxuu iyagii u gacangeliyey xadgudubkoodii.
Though, thy children, sinned against him, and he delivered them into the hand of their transgression,
5 Haddaad aad u barido Ilaah, Oo aad baryootankaaga hor dhigto Qaadirka,
Yet, if, thou thyself, wilt diligently seek unto GOD, —and, unto the Almighty, wilt make supplication;
6 Haddaad daahir ahaan lahayd oo aad qummanaan lahayd, Sida xaqiiqada ah haatan wuu kuu toosi lahaa, Oo hoyga xaqnimadaadana wuu barwaaqayn lahaa.
If, pure and upright, thou thyself, art, surely, now, will he answer thy prayer, and will prosper thy righteous habitation:
7 Oo in kastoo bilowgaagii yaraa, Haddana ugudambaystaadu aad bay u weynaan lahayd.
So shall thy beginning appear small, —when, thy latter end, he shall greatly increase!
8 Waan ku baryayaaye bal qarniyadii hore wax weyddii, Oo bal soo garwaaqso waxyaalihii ay awowayaashood fatasheen,
For inquire, I pray thee, of a former generation, and prepare thyself for the research of their fathers; —
9 (Waayo, innagu waxaynu nahay qoonkii shalayto oo qudha, oo waxba garan mayno, Maxaa yeelay, cimrigeenna aan dhulka joognaa waa sida hoos oo kale.)
For, of yesterday, are, we, and cannot know, for, a shadow, are our days upon earth:
10 War sow iyagu wax kuma bari doonaan, oo wax kuuma sheegi doonaan, Oo sow qalbigooda kaalama hadli doonaan?
Shall, they, not teach thee—tell thee, and, out of their memory, bring forth words?
11 War miyaa cawdu ka bixi kartaa meel aan dhoobo lahayn? Cawsduurkuse miyuu bixi karaa biyola'aantood?
Can the paper-reed grow up, without a marsh? Or the rush grow up, without water?
12 Intuu weli cagaarka yahay oo aan la gooyn, Wuu ka hor engegaa dhalatada kale oo dhan.
Though while still, in its freshness, it be not plucked off, yet, before any kind of grass, it doth wither:
13 Kuwa Ilaah illooba oo dhan wadiiqooyinkoodu waa sidaas oo kale, Oo ninkii cibaadalaawe ah rajadiisuna way baabba'daa.
So, shall be the latter end of all who forget GOD, and, the hope of the impious, shall perish:
14 Oo kaas kalsoonaantiisu way kala jajabtaa, Oo aaminaaddiisuna waa sida xuubcaaro oo kale.
Whose trust shall be contemptible, —and, a spider’s web, his confidence:
15 Wuxuu ku tiirsan doonaa gurigiisa, laakiinse gurigiisu ma taagnaan doono. Aad buu u xajin doonaa, laakiinse siima uu adkaan doono innaba.
He leaneth upon his house, and it will not stand, he holdeth it fast, and it will not remain erect.
16 Isagu waa ku cagaar qorraxda, Oo laamihiisa curdanka ahuna waxay ka soo kor baxaan beertiisa.
Full of moisture he is, before the sun, and, over his garden, his shoot goeth forth:
17 Oo xididdadiisuna waxay isku duuduubaan taallo dhagaxyo ah, Oo wuxuu fiiriyaa meesha dhagaxyada.
Over a heap, his roots are entwined, a place of stones, he descrieth;
18 Isaga haddii meeshiisa laga baabbi'iyo, Markaasay inkiri doontaa isaga, oo waxay odhan doontaa, Anigu kumaba arag.
If one destroy him out of his place, then will it disown him [saying] —I have not seen thee.
19 Farxadda jidkiisu waa sidaas, Oo waxaa dhulka ka soo bixi doona kuwa kaleto.
Lo! that, is the joy of his way, —and, out of the dust, shall others spring up.
20 Ilaah marnaba xoori maayo nin qumman, Kuwa sharka falase tiirin maayo.
Lo! GOD, will not reject a blameless man, neither will he grasp the hand of evil-doers:
21 Wuxuu afkaaga ka buuxin doonaa qosol, Bushimahaagana qaylo farxad leh,
At length he shall fill with laughter thy mouth, and thy lips, with a shout of triumph:
22 Kuwa ku neceb waxay xidhan doonaan ceeb, Teendhada sharrowyaduna mar dambe siima jiri doonto.
They who hate thee, shall be clothed with shame, but, the tent of the lawless, shall not be!
