Yexesqeel 9

1 Markaasuu dhegahayga cod weyn ugu qayliyey, isagoo leh, Kuwa magaalada u taliya soo dhowee, iyadoo ninkood kastaaba uu hubkiisa uu wax ku baabbi'iyo gacanta ku haysto.

Then cried he in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Draw near ye that have charge of the city, -even every man with his weapon of destruction in his hand.

2 Oo bal eeg, lix nin baa waxay ka yimaadeen iriddii sare xaggeeda taasoo xagga woqooyi u sii jeedda, oo midkood kastaaba wuxuu gacanta ku haystay hubka uu wax ku laayo, oo waxaa dhexdooda joogay mid dhar wanaagsan qaba, oo dhinacana waxaa ugu xidhnaa geeskii khadka kan wax qora. Markaasay galeen oo waxay ag istaageen meeshii allabariga ee naxaasta ahayd.

And lo! six men coming in out of the way of the upper gate which looketh toward the north even every man with his destructive weapon in his hand, and one man in their midst clothed with linen, having a scribe’s ink holder by his side, —so they came in and stood beside the altar of bronze.

3 Kolkaasaa ammaantii Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil kor bay uga kacday keruubkii ay kor saarnayd, oo waxay tagtay guriga marinkiisii, oo wuxuu u yeedhay ninkii dharkii wanaagsanaa qabay oo dhiniciisa ku sitay geeskii khadka kan wax qora.

And the glory of the God of Israel lifted itself up from off the cherub whereon it had been, unto the threshold of the house, —and he called unto the man clothed with linen, who had the scribe’s ink holder by his side.

4 Markaasaa Rabbigu isagii ku yidhi, Magaalada Yeruusaalem dhexdeeda mar, oo waxaad calaamad ku dhigtaa jaaha dadka u taahaya oo u qaylinaya waxyaalaha karaahiyada ah oo dhexdeeda lagu sameeyo oo dhan.

Then said Yahweh unto him. Pass along through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, —and set thou a mark upon the foreheads of the men who are sighing and crying over all the abominations that are being done in her midst.

5 Oo kuwii kalena wuxuu anigoo maqlaya ku yidhi, Isaga dabadiis magaalada dhex mara oo wada laaya, oo indhihiinnu yaanay u tudhin, oo innaba ha u nixina.

But unto these, said he in mine ears, Pass along through the city after him and smite, —let not your eye, shield, neither have ye pity:

6 Oo waxaad wada laysaan odayaasha, iyo barbaarrada, iyo gabdhaha, iyo carruurta yaryar, iyo naagahaba, laakiinse innaba ha u dhowaanina nin alla ninkii ay calaamaddu ku taal, oo waxaad ka bilowdaan meeshayda allabariga. Markaasay waxay ka bilaabeen raggii odayaasha ahaa oo guriga hortiisa joogay.

elder, young man and virgin and little ones and women, shall ye slay utterly, but unto any man who hath upon him the mark, do not ye come near, and at my sanctuary, shall ye begin. So they began with the elder men. who were before the house.

7 Oo wuxuu iyagii ku yidhi, Guriga nijaaseeya, oo barxadahana meydad ka buuxiya, oo haddana baxa. Markaasay bexeen oo magaaladii dad bay ku dhex laayeen.

And he said unto them Defile ye the house and fill the courts with the slain, —go ye forth! So they went forth and smote in the city.

8 Oo intay dadka laynayeen oo aan anigu hadhay ayaan wejiga u dhacay, oo intaan qayliyey ayaan idhi, Sayidow, Rabbiyow, ma waxaad doonaysaa inaad kuwa reer binu Israa'iil ku hadha oo dhan ku wada baabbi'isid cadhadaada aad Yeruusaalem ku dul shubayso?

And it came to pass, while they were smiting them—I being left remaining, that I fell upon my face and made outcry, and said Alas! My Lord. Yahweh art thou about to destroy all the remnant of Israel, in that thou art pouring out of thine indignation upon Jerusalem?

9 Markaasuu igu yidhi, Dadka dalka Israa'iil iyo dadka dalka Yahuudahba xumaantoodu aad iyo aad bay u badan tahay, oo dalkiina dhiig baa ka buuxsamay, oo magaaladiina qalloocnaan baa ka buuxsantay, waayo, waxay isyidhaahdaan, Rabbigu dhulka wuu ka tegey, oo Rabbigu waxba ma arko.

And he said unto me the iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah, is exceeding, great, and the land is filled with shed blood, and the city is full of over-reaching, —for they have said. Yahweh hath forsaken the land, — and Yahweh doth not see.

10 Oo aniguna indhahaygu uma tudhi doonaan, oo innaba uma aan nixi doono, laakiinse jidkooda ayaan madaxooda kaga abaalmarin doonaa.

Therefore as for even me, Mine eye shall not shield. Neither will I pity, — Their way upon their own head, have I rendered.

11 Oo bal eeg, ninkii dharkii wanaagsanaa qabay oo geeska khadka dhinaciisa ku sitay ayaa war keenay, oo wuxuu yidhi, Wixii aad igu amartay ayaan sameeyey.

And lo! the man clothed in linen, having the ink-holder by his side, bringing back word saying, — I have done according to all which thou didst command me.
