The LORD’s word came again to me, saying,
2 Wiilka Aadamow, haddana Turos aawadeed baroor kor ugu qayli,
“You, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;
3 oo waxaad Turos ku tidhaahdaa, Taada badda kadinkeeda ku taal, oo ah meesha ay gasiirado badan dadkoodu ka baayacmushtaraanay, Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Turosay, waxaad istidhi, Anigu waxaan leeyahay qurux kaamil ah.
and tell Tyre, ‘You who dwell at the entry of the sea, who are the merchant of the peoples to many islands, the Lord GOD says: “You, Tyre, have said, ‘I am perfect in beauty.’
4 Soohdimahaagu waxay ku yaallaan badda dhexdeeda, oo kuwii ku dhisayna quruxdaadii way kaamileen.
Your borders are in the heart of the seas. Your builders have perfected your beauty.
5 Alwaaxda doonniyahaaga oo dhan waxay ka sameeyeen dhirta berooshka ah ee Seniir, oo Lubnaan waxay ka soo goosteen geedo kedar ah si ay daqal kaaga dhigaan.
They have made all your planks of cypress trees from Senir. They have taken a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.

12 Tarshiish waxay ahayd tii kula baayacmushtari jirtay hodantinimadaadii badnayd ee cayn kasta ahayd aawadeed, oo waxay alaabtaadii kaga baayacmushtari jirtay lacag, iyo bir, iyo qasacad, iyo alxan.
“‘“Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches. They traded for your wares with silver, iron, tin, and lead.
13 Oo reer Yaawaan, iyo reer Tubal, iyo reer Meshegna way kula baayacmushtari jireen, oo waxay alaabtaadii kaga baayacmushtari jireen dad noolnool iyo weelal naxaas ah.
“‘“Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They traded the persons of men and vessels of bronze for your merchandise.
14 Oo kuwii reer Togarmaahna waxay alaabtaadii kaga baayacmushtari jireen fardo iyo fardo la fuulo iyo baqlo.
“‘“They of the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, war horses, and mules.

“‘“Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your favourite dealers in lambs, rams, and goats. In these, they were your merchants.

These were your traders in choice wares, in wrappings of blue and embroidered work, and in cedar chests of rich clothing bound with cords, amongst your merchandise.
25 Doonniyaha Tarshiish ayaa shixnaddaada qaadi jiray, oo adigu waad buuxsantay, oo badda dhexdeeda ayaad aad ugu sharaf badnayd.
“‘“The ships of Tarshish were your caravans for your merchandise. You were replenished and made very glorious in the heart of the seas.
26 Kuwii seebab kuugu kaxaynayay waxay ku geeyeen meel biyo badan, oo dabayshii bari ayaa badda dhexdeeda kugu jebisay.
Your rowers have brought you into great waters. The east wind has broken you in the heart of the seas.
27 Maalkaaga, iyo alaabtaada, iyo baayacmushtarkaaga, iyo baxriyadaada, iyo doonniyawadayaashaada, iyo kuwa dillaacyada awda, iyo kuwa baayacmushtarkaaga ka shaqaysta, iyo raggaaga dagaalyahanka ah oo ku dhex jooga oo dhan, iyo guutada ku dhex joogta oo dhammuba waxay maalinta baabbi'iddaada ku wada daadan doonaan badaha dhexdooda.
Your riches, your wares, your merchandise, your mariners, your pilots, your repairers of ship seams, the dealers in your merchandise, and all your men of war who are in you, with all your company which is amongst you, will fall into the heart of the seas in the day of your ruin.
28 Kuwa agagaarkaaga jooga oo dhammu waxay la wada gariiri doonaan qaylada dhawaaqa doonniyawadayaashaada.
At the sound of the cry of your pilots, the pasture lands will shake.
29 Oo kuwa seebabka ku shaqeeya oo dhan, iyo baxriyada, iyo doonniyawadayaasha badda oo dhammuba doonniyahooda way ka soo degi doonaan, oo berrigay soo istaagi doonaan.
All who handle the oars, the mariners and all the pilots of the sea, will come down from their ships. They will stand on the land,
30 Oo waxaa la maqli doonaa iyagoo kuu barooranaya, oo si qadhaadh ayay u ooyi doonaan, oo madaxooday boodh ku dul shubi doonaan, oo dambaskay ku galgalan doonaan.
and will cause their voice to be heard over you, and will cry bitterly. They will cast up dust on their heads. They will wallow in the ashes.
31 Oo adiga daraaddaa ayay isu xiiri doonaan, oo joonyado bay guntan doonaan, oo waxay kuugu ooyi doonaan qalbi murugaysan iyo baroor qadhaadh.
They will make themselves bald for you, and clothe themselves with sackcloth. They will weep for you in bitterness of soul, with bitter mourning.
32 Oo intay ooyayaan ayay baroor kuu qaadi doonaan, oo waxay ku barooran doonaan iyagoo leh, Turosta badda dhexdeeda ku baabba'day, bal magaaladee baa la mid ah?
In their wailing they will take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, ‘Who is there like Tyre, like her who is brought to silence in the middle of the sea?’
33 Markay alaabtaadu badda ka soo baxday dad faro badan baad dhergin jirtay, oo boqorradii dunidana hodan baad maalkaagii badnaa iyo baayacmushtarkaagii kaga dhigtay.
When your wares came from the seas, you filled many peoples. You enriched the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.
34 Wakhtigii badaha lagugu jebiyey biyaha moolka dheer dhexdooda ayaa baayacmushtarkaagii iyo guutadaadii oo dhammuba kugu wada dhex baabbi'iyeen.
In the time that you were broken by the seas, in the depths of the waters, your merchandise and all your company fell within you.
35 Dadka gasiiradaha deggan oo dhammu way kula yaabsan yihiin, oo boqorradooduna aad iyo aad bay u cabsan yihiin, oo wejigooduna aad buu u argaggaxsan yahay.
All the inhabitants of the islands are astonished at you, and their kings are horribly afraid. They are troubled in their face.
36 Oo baayacmushtariyaasha dadka ku dhex jiraa way kugu foodhyaan, oo cabsi baad noqotay, oo weligaana mar dambe ma aad jiri doontid.
The merchants amongst the peoples hiss at you. You have come to a terrible end, and you will be no more.”’”
