1 Oo Yoosiyaah Yeruusaalem ayuu Rabbiga ugu dhawray Iiddii Kormaridda, oo neefafkii Kormariddana waxaa la gowracay bishii kowaad maalinteedii afar iyo tobnaad.
And Josiah kept in Jerusalem the passover unto the Lord: and they slaughtered the passover-sacrifice on the fourteenth day of the first month.
2 Oo wadaaddadiina ayuu shuqulkoodii loo amray u kala qaybiyey, oo adeegiddii gurigii Rabbiga ayuu ku dhiirrigeliyey.
And he placed the priests in their charges, and strengthened them for the service of the house of the Lord.
3 Oo kuwii reer Laawi oo dadka Israa'iil oo dhan wax bari jiray ee Rabbiga aawadiis quduus u ahaa wuxuu ku yidhi, Sanduuqa quduuska ah waxaad gelisaan gurigii uu dhisay Sulaymaan oo uu dhalay boqorkii reer binu Israa'iil oo Daa'uud ahaa, hadda ka dib culaab dambe garbihiinna saarnaan mayso, haddaba Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah iyo dadkiisa reer binu Israa'iil u adeega.
And he said unto the Levites that instructed all Israel, who were holy unto the Lord, Set the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David the king of Israel did build; you have not to carry it any more upon your shoulders; now serve the Lord your God, and his people Israel.

And prepare yourselves by your family divisions, according to your courses, after the written order of David the king of Israel, and after the written order of Solomon his son;
5 Oo waxaad isu taagtaan meesha quduuska ah sida qaybaha reerihii walaalihiin oo ah dadka dalka ay kala yihiin, oo reerihii qaar reer Laawi ahi ha isu qaybiyeen.
And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the family divisions of your brethren the sons of the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites;
6 Oo neefafka Kormaridda gowraca, oo quduus iska dhiga, oo walaalihiinna u diyaariya, si aad u samaysaan si waafaqsan Eraygii Rabbiga oo Muuse loo soo dhiibay.
And slaughter the passover-sacrifice, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare it for your brethren, to do according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
7 Markaasaa Yoosiyaah wuxuu dadkii intii joogtay oo dhan adhigii ka siiyey baraar iyo waxarro si ay qurbaannada Kormaridda u bixiyaan, oo tiradooduna waxay isku ahayd soddon kun, iyo saddex kun oo dibi, intaasu waxay ahaayeen intii boqorku maalkiisa ka baxshay.
And Josiah set apart for the sons of the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover-sacrifices, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and of steers three thousand: these were of the king's property.
8 Oo amiirradiisii iyagoo raalli ka ah ayay wax siiyeen dadkii iyo wadaaddadii iyo kuwii reer Laawi. Oo Xilqiyaah iyo Sekaryaah iyo Yexii'eel oo ahaa taliyayaashii guriga Ilaahna waxay wadaaddadii qurbaannadii Kormaridda u siiyeen laba kun iyo lix boqol oo neef oo yaryar, iyo saddex boqol oo dibi.
And his princes set apart [much] as a freewill gift for the people for the priests, and for the Levites: Chilkiyah, and Zecharyahu, and Jechiel, the rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover-sacrifices two thousand and six hundred [lambs and kids], and three hundred steers.
9 Oo weliba Kaananyaah iyo walaalihiis oo ahaa Shemacyaah iyo Netaneel, iyo Xashabyaah iyo Yecii'eel iyo Yoosaabaad oo ahaa madaxdii reer Laawi waxay reer Laawi qurbaannadii Kormaridda u siiyeen shan kun oo neef oo yaryar, iyo shan boqol oo dibi.
And Conanyahu, and Shema'yahu and Nethanel, his brothers, and Chashabyahu and Je'iel and Jozabad, the chiefs of the Levites, set apart unto the Levites for passover-sacrifices five thousand [lambs and kids], and five hundred steers.
10 Sidaasaa hawshii loo hagaajiyey, oo wadaaddadii iyo kuwii reer Laawina waxay kala istaageen meelahoodii siday kooxahoodii kala ahaayeen, taasoo waafaqsan boqorka amarkiisii.
So the service was established, and the priests stood on their station, and the Levites in their divisions, according to the king's command.
11 Markaasay gowraceen neefafkii Kormaridda, oo wadaaddadiina way saydhsaydheen dhiiggii ay gacantooda ka guddoomeen, oo kuwii reer Laawina harag bay ka bixiyeen.
And they slaughtered the passover-sacrifice, and the priests sprinkled [the blood received] from their hands, and the Levites did the flaying.
12 Oo iyana meel bay dhigeen qurbaannadii la gubayay inay sidii qaybihii reerihii dadku ay kala ahaayeen Rabbiga wax ugu bixiyaan si waafaqsan waxa ku qoran kitaabkii Muuse. Oo dibidiina sidaasoo kalay u galeen.
And they removed the burnt-offerings to give them to the divisions of the family divisions of the sons of the people, to offer [them] unto the Lord, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the steers.
13 Oo sidii qaynuunku ahaa ayay neefafkii Kormaridda dab ugu dubeen, oo qurbaannadii quduuska ahaana waxay ku kariyeen dheryo iyo digsiyo iyo weelal kale oo waaweyn, oo intay qaadeen ayay haddiiba u geeyeen dadkii oo dhan.
And they roasted the passover by the fire in accordance with the prescribed manner; but the holy offerings they seethed in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the sons of the people.
14 Oo dabadeedna wax bay u diyaariyeen nafsaddoodii iyo wadaaddadii, maxaa yeelay, wadaaddadii reer Haaruun waxay ilaa habeenkii bixinayeen qurbaannada la gubo iyo baruurtaba, sidaas daraaddeed kuwii reer Laawi wax bay u diyaariyeen nafsaddoodii iyo wadaaddadii reer Haaruunba.
And afterward they prepared for themselves, and for the priests; because the priests the sons of Aaron [were busied] in offering the burnt-offerings and the fat until night: therefore the Levites prepared for themselves and for the priests the sons of Aaron.
15 Oo nimankii gabayaaga ahaa oo reer Aasaafna waxay joogeen meeshoodii sidii uu ahaa amarkii Daa'uud, iyo Aasaaf, iyo Heemaan, iyo Yeduutuun oo ahaa boqorka wax arkihiisii, oo iridjoogayaashiina waxay joogeen irid kasta, oo iyagu uma ay baahnayn inay hawshooda ka tagaan, waayo, iyaga waxaa wax u diyaarin jiray walaalahoodii reer Laawi.
And the singers the sons of Assaph were on their station, according to the command of David, and Assaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the gatekeepers were at every gate: they had no need to depart from their service; because their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
16 Sidaasaa hawshii Rabbiga loo diyaariyey isku maalintaas in Iidda Kormaridda la dhawro iyo in qurbaannada la gubo lagu bixiyo meeshii allabariga ee Rabbiga, sidii uu ahaa amarkii Boqor Yoosiyaah.
So was established all the service of the Lord on the same day, to prepare the passover-sacrifice, and to offer burnt-offerings upon the altar of the Lord, according to the command of king Josiah.
17 Reer binu Israa'iil oo markaas joogayna wakhtigaasay dhawrayeen Iiddii Kormaridda iyo Iiddii Kibista-aan-khamiirka-lahaynba intii toddoba maalmood ah.
And the children of Israel that were present prepared the passover-sacrifice at that time, and [kept] the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
18 Oo Iiddaas Kormaridda mid la mid ah dalka Israa'iil laguma iidin tan iyo wakhtigii Nebi Samuu'eel, oo boqorradii reer binu Israa'iilna midkoodna ma uu iidin Iiddii Kormaridda siday u iideen Yoosiyaah, iyo wadaaddadii, iyo kuwii reer Laawi, iyo kulli dadka Yahuudah iyo dadka Israa'iil ee joogay oo dhan, iyo dadkii Yeruusaalem degganaaba.
And there was not holden any passover like this in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; and all the kings of Israel did not keep such a passover as Josiah kept, with the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
19 Oo Iiddaas Kormaridda waxaa la iiday sannaddii siddeed iyo tobnaad oo boqornimadii Yoosiyaah.
In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover holden.
20 Oo waxyaalahaas oo dhan dabadood markuu Yoosiyaah macbudkii diyaariyey ayaa boqorkii Masar oo Nekoo la odhan jiray u soo baxay inuu la diriro Karkemiish oo u dhowayd Webi Yufraad, oo Yoosiyaahna isagii buu ku soo baxay.
After all this, when Josiah had restored the temple, came up Necho the king of Egypt to fight against Karkemish by the Euphrates, and Josiah went out against him.
21 Laakiinse ergooyin buu u diray, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Boqorka dalka Yahuudahow, maxaan kaa qabaa? Maanta adiga kuguma aan soo bixin, laakiinse waxaan ku soo baxay reerka aan colka la ahay; oo Ilaahna wuxuu igu amray inaan dhaqsado, haddaba Ilaaha ila jira ka joogso yuu ku baabbi'ine.
But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war, and God hath commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God who is with me, that he may not destroy thee.
22 Habase yeeshee Yoosiyaah wuu diiday inuu wejigiisii ka jeediyo, laakiinse wuu ismidab rogay si uu ula diriro, oo ma uu maqlin erayadii Nekoo ee afka Ilaah ka soo baxay, wuuse yimid inuu kula diriro dooxadii Megiddoo.
Nevertheless did Josiah not turn his face away from him, but disguised himself, to fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God; and he came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
23 Markaasay qaansaleydii fallaadh ku ganeen Boqor Yoosiyaah, dabadeedna boqorkii wuxuu addoommadiisii ku yidhi, War si xun baan u dhaawacmaye i fogeeya.
And the archers shot at king Josiah: and the king said to his servants, Carry me away: for I am sorely wounded.
24 Sidaas daraaddeed addoommadiisii gaadhifaraskii way ka dejiyeen oo waxay saareen gaadhifaraskii labaad ee uu lahaa, oo waxay isagii keeneen Yeruusaalem, halkaasuuna ku dhintay, oo waxaa lagu aasay qabuurihii awowayaashiis. Oo dadkii Yahuudah iyo Yeruusaalem oo dhan Yoosiyaah way u baroorteen.
And his servants carried him away out of that chariot, and conveyed him in the second chariot that he had: and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died, and was buried in the sepulchres of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.
25 Oo Yeremyaahna waa u baroortay Yoosiyaah, oo ilaa maantadan la joogo ragga gabya iyo naagaha gabya oo dhanba waxay baroortoodii kaga sheekeeyeen Yoosiyaah, oo taasna dalka Israa'iil qaynuun baa lagaga dhigay, oo bal eeg, waxay ku qoran tahay kitaabka baroorta.
And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah; and all the singing men and the singing women spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and they instituted them as a custom in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.
26 Haddaba Yoosiyaah falimihiisii kale iyo camalladiisii wanwanaagsanaa, sida ku qoran sharciga Rabbiga,
And the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his pious deeds, in accordance with what is written in the law of the Lord,
27 iyo falimihiisii intii hore iyo intii dambeba waxay ku qoran yihiin kitaabkii boqorrada dalka Israa'iil iyo dalka Yahuudah.
And his acts, the first and the last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
