1 Nhunzi dzakafa dzinonhuwisa mafuta akanaka, saizvozvowo upenzi hushoma hunorema kukunda uchenjeri nokukudzwa.
Flies of death it causes to stink it ferments [the] oil of a perfumer [is] weighty more than wisdom more than honor folly a little.
2 Mwoyo womunhu akachenjera unosimbira kurudyi, asi mwoyo webenzi unosimbira kuruboshwe.
[the] heart of A wise [person] [is] to right [hand] his and [the] heart of a fool [is] to left [hand] his.

4 Kana kutsamwa kwomutongi kukakumukira, usabva panzvimbo yako; unyoro hunonyaradza mhosva huru.

7 Ndakaona varanda vakatasva mabhiza, ipapo machinda achifamba pasi netsoka savaranda.
I have seen slaves on horses and princes [who] walk like slaves on the ground.
8 Ani naani anochera gomba angangowira mariri; ani naani anopwanya naparusvingo angangorumwa nenyoka.
[one who] digs A pit in it he will fall and [one who] breaks through a wall it will bite him a snake.
9 Ani naani anopwanya matombo angangokuvadzwa nawo; ani naani anotsemura matanda angangozviisa panjodzi nawo.
[one who] quarries Stones he will be hurt by them [one who] cleaves wood he will be endangered by them.
10 Kana demo rakagomara uye rikasarodzwa, panodiwa simba rakawanda, asi unyanzvi hunouyisa kubudirira.
If it is blunt the iron [axe] and he not faces he has sharpened and strength he will make strong and [is] advantage (to give success *Q(k)*) wisdom.
11 Kana nyoka ikaruma mupingudzi asati aibata, mupingudzi haachabatsiri.
If it will bite the snake with not charming and there not [is] profit for [the] master of the tongue.
12 Mashoko anobva mumuromo momunhu akachenjera ane unyoro, asi benzi rinomedzwa nomuromo waro.
[the] words of [the] mouth of A wise [person] [are] favor and [the] lips of a fool it swallows him.
13 Kutanga kwamashoko ake upenzi; nokuguma kwokutaura kwake mupengo wakashata.
[the] beginning of [the] words of Mouth his [is] folly and [the] end of mouth his [is] madness evil.
14 Uye benzi rinowanza mashoko. Hapana munhu anoziva zvichauya, ndiani angamuudza zvichaitika shure kwake?
And the fool he multiplies words not he knows the person what? that will be and which it will be from after him who? will he tell to him.
15 Basa rebenzi rinomunetesa; haazivi nzira inoenda kuguta.
[the] toil of Fools it wearies him that not he knows to walk to a city.
16 Une nhamo iwe nyika ina mambo aiva muranda uye ina machinda anoita mabiko mangwanani.
Woe! to you O land that king your [is] a youth and princes your in the morning they eat.
17 Wakaropafadzwa iwe nyika ina mambo akaberekwa mukukudzwa uye ina machinda anodya panguva yakafanira, kuti vasimbiswe kwete kuti vadhakwe.
How blessed [are] you O land that king your [is] a son of nobles and princes your at the appropriate time they eat for strength and not for drinking.
18 Kana munhu ari simbe, denga remba rinosakara; kana achigarira maoko, imba inobvinza.
In laziness it sinks the rafter[s] and in lowering of hands it leaks the house.
19 Mabiko anoitirwa kuseka, uye waini inofadza upenyu, asi mari imhinduro kune zvose.
For laughter [people are] making food and wine it makes glad life and money it answers everything.
20 Usatuka mambo kunyange mupfungwa dzako, kana kutuka mupfumi paimba yako yokuvata, nokuti shiri yedenga ingangotakura mashoko ako, uye china mapapiro chingangozivisa zvawataura.
Also in mind your a king may not you curse and in [the] chambers of lying down your may not you curse a rich [person] for bird of the heavens it will carry the sound and an owner (of wings *Q(K)*) it will tell [the] matter.
