1 Фоаметя бынтуя греу ын царэ.
Now great famine was in the land.
2 Кынд ау испрэвит де мынкат грыул пе каре-л адусесерэ дин Еӂипт, Иаков а зис фиилор сэй: „Дучеци-вэ ярэшь ши кумпэраци-не чева меринде.”
And when they had eaten vp the vitaile, which they had brought from Egypt, their father sayd vnto them, Turne againe, and bye vs a little foode.
3 Иуда й-а рэспунс: „Омул ачела не-а спус курат: ‘Сэ ну-мь май ведець фаца дакэ фрателе востру ну ва фи ку вой.’
And Iudah answered him, saying, The man charged vs by an othe, saying, Neuer see my face, except your brother be with you.
4 Дакэ врей деч сэ тримиць пе фрателе ностру ку ной, не вом коборы ши-ць вом кумпэра меринде.
If thou wilt sende our brother with vs, we will goe downe, and bye thee foode:
5 Дар, дакэ ну врей сэ-л тримиць, ну не вом коборы, кэч омул ачела не-а спус: ‘Сэ ну-мь май ведець фаца дакэ фрателе востру ну ва фи ку вой!’”
But if thou wilt not send him, we wil not go downe: for the man said vnto vs, Looke me not in the face, except your brother be with you.
6 Исраел а зис атунч: „Пентру че мь-аць фэкут ун астфел де рэу ши аць спус омулуй ачелуя кэ май авець ун фрате?”
And Israel sayd, Wherefore delt ye so euill with me, as to tell the man, whether ye had yet a brother or no?
7 Ей ау рэспунс: „Омул ачела не-а ынтребат деспре ной ши фамилия ноастрэ ши а зис: ‘Май трэеште татэл востру? Май авець вреун фрате?’ Ши ной ам рэспунс ла ынтребэриле ачестя. Путям ной сэ штим кэ аре сэ зикэ: ‘Адучець пе фрателе востру’?”
And they answered, The man asked straitly of our selues and of our kinred, saying, Is your father yet aliue? haue ye any brother? And wee tolde him according to these wordes: could we knowe certainely that he would say, Bring your brother downe?
8 Иуда а зис татэлуй сэу Исраел: „Тримите копилул ку мине, ка сэ не скулэм ши сэ плекэм, ши вом трэи ши ну вом мури, ной, ту ши копиий ноштри.
Then sayde Iudah to Israel his father, Send the boy with mee, that we may rise and goe, and that we may liue and not dye, both we, and thou, and our children.
9 Рэспунд еу пентру ел; ай сэ-л черь ынапой дин мына мя. Дакэ ну-л вой адуче ынапой ла тине ши дакэ ну-л вой пуне ынаинтя та, виноват сэ фиу фацэ де тине пентру тотдяуна.
I wil be suertie for him: of mine hand shalt thou require him. If I bring him not to thee, and set him before thee, then let me beare the blame for euer.
10 Кэч, дакэ н-ам май фи зэбовит, де доуэ орь не-ам фи ынторс пынэ акум.”
For except we had made this tarying, doutlesse by this we had returned the second time.
11 Исраел, татэл лор, ле-а зис: „Фииндкэ требуе, фачець аша. Луаци-вэ ын сачь чева дин челе май буне роаде але цэрий, ка сэ дучець ун дар омулуй ачелуя, ши ануме: пуцин ляк алинэтор ши пуцинэ мьере, миродений, смирнэ, фистикурь ши мигдале.
Then their father Israel sayd vnto them, If it must needes be so now, do thus: take of the best fruites of the lande in your vessels, and bring the man a present, a little rosen, and a little hony, spices and myrrhe, nuttes, and almondes:
12 Луаць ку вой арӂинт ындоит ши дучець ынапой арӂинтул пе каре ви-л пусесерэ ла гура сачилор: поате кэ а фост о грешялэ.
And take double money in your hande, and the money, that was brought againe in your sackes mouthes: cary it againe in your hand, lest it were some ouersight.
13 Луаць ши пе фрателе востру, скулаци-вэ ши ынтоарчеци-вэ ла омул ачела.
Take also your brother and arise, and go againe to the man.
14 Думнезеул чел Атотпутерник сэ вэ факэ сэ кэпэтаць тречере ынаинтя омулуй ачелуя ши сэ ласе сэ се ынтоаркэ ымпреунэ ку вой пе челэлалт фрате ал востру ши пе Бениамин! Яр еу, дакэ требуе сэ фиу липсит де копиий мей, липсит сэ фиу!”
And God almightie giue you mercie in the sight of the man, that hee may deliuer you your other brother, and Beniamin: but I shall be robbed of my childe, as I haue bene.
15 Ау луат дарул; ау луат ку ей арӂинт ындоит, прекум ши пе Бениамин; с-ау скулат, с-ау коборыт ын Еӂипт ши с-ау ынфэцишат ынаинтя луй Иосиф.
Thus the men tooke this present, and tooke twise so much money in their hande with Beniamin, and rose vp, and went downe to Egypt and stoode before Ioseph.
16 Кум а вэзут Иосиф пе Бениамин ку ей, а зис економулуй сэу: „Багэ пе оамений ачештя ын касэ, тае вите ши гэтеште, кэч оамений ачештя ау сэ мэнынче ку мине ла амязэ.”
And whe Ioseph saw Beniamin with them, he sayde to his stewarde, Bring these men home and kill meate, and make ready: for the men shall eate with me at noone.
17 Омул ачела а фэкут че-й порунчисе Иосиф ши а дус пе оамений ачея ын каса луй Иосиф.
And the man did as Ioseph bad, and brought the men vnto Iosephs house.
18 Ей с-ау темут кынд ау вэзут кэ-й багэ ын каса луй Иосиф ши ау зис: „Не багэ ынэунтру дин причина арӂинтулуй пус ын сачий ноштри дата трекутэ; вор сэ се нэпустяскэ песте ной ка сэ не я робь ши сэ пунэ мына пе мэгарий ноштри.”
Nowe when the men were brought into Iosephs house, they were afrayd, and sayd, Because of the money, that came in our sackes mouthes at the first time, are we brought, that hee may picke a quarrell against vs, and lay some thing to our charge, and bring vs in bondage and our asses.
19 С-ау апропият де економул касей луй Иосиф ши ау интрат ын ворбэ ку ел ла уша касей
Therefore came they to Iosephs stewarde, and communed with him at the doore of ye house.
20 ши ау зис: „Домнуле, ной не-ам май коборыт о датэ аич, ка сэ кумпэрэм меринде.
And said, Oh syr, we came in deede down hither at the first time to bye foode,
21 Апой, кынд ам ажунс ла локул унде требуя сэ рэмынем песте ноапте, не-ам дескис сачий ши ятэ кэ арӂинтул фиекэруя ера ла гура сакулуй сэу – арӂинтул ностру, дупэ греутатя луй – ши л-ам адус ынапой ку ной.
And as wee came to an ynne and opened our sackes, behold, euery mans money was in his sackes mouth, euen our money in full weight, but we haue brought it againe in our handes.
22 Ам адус ши алт арӂинт, ка сэ кумпэрэм меринде. Ну штим чине а пус арӂинтул ын сачий ноштри.”
Also other money haue we brought in our handes to bye foode, but we cannot tell, who put our money in our sackes.
23 Економул а рэспунс: „Фиць пе паче! Ну вэ темець де нимик. Думнезеул востру, Думнезеул татэлуй востру, в-а пус пе аскунс о комоарэ ын сачь. Арӂинтул востру а трекут прин мыниле меле.” Ши ле-а адус ши пе Симеон.
And he said, Peace be vnto you, feare not: your God and the God of your father hath giuen you that treasure in your sackes, I had your money: and he brought forth Simeon to them.
24 Омул ачеста й-а бэгат ын каса луй Иосиф; ле-а дат апэ де шь-ау спэлат пичоареле; а дат ши нутрец мэгарилор лор.
So the man led them into Iosephs house, and gaue them water to wash their feete, and gaue their asses prouender.
25 Ей шь-ау прегэтит дарул пынэ ла вениря луй Иосиф, ла амязэ, кэч афласерэ кэ ау сэ мэнынче ла ел.
And they made ready their present against Ioseph came at noone, (for they heard say, that they should eate bread there)
26 Кынд а ажунс Иосиф акасэ, й-ау дат дарул пе каре и-л адусесерэ ши с-ау арункат ку фаца ла пэмынт ынаинтя луй.
When Ioseph came home, they brought the present into the house to him, which was in their handes, and bowed downe to the grounde before him.
27 Ел й-а ынтребат де сэнэтате ши а зис: „Бэтрынул востру татэ, де каре аць ворбит, есте сэнэтос? Май трэеште?”
And he asked them of their prosperitie, and sayd, Is your father the olde man, of whome ye tolde me, in good health? is he yet aliue?
28 Ей ау рэспунс: „Робул тэу, татэл ностру, есте сэнэтос; трэеште ынкэ.” Ши с-ау плекат ши с-ау арункат ку фаца ла пэмынт.
Who answered, Thy seruant our father is in good health, he is yet aliue: and they bowed downe, and made obeysance.
29 Иосиф а ридикат окий ши, арункынд о привире спре фрате-сэу Бениамин, фиул мамей сале, а зис: „Ачеста есте фрателе востру чел тынэр деспре каре мь-аць ворбит?” Ши а адэугат: „Думнезеу сэ айбэ милэ де тине, фиуле!”
And he lifting vp his eyes, beheld his brother Beniamin his mothers sonne, and sayde, Is this your yonger brother, of whome ye tolde me? And he said, God be merciful vnto thee, my sone.
30 Иосиф а испрэвит репеде, кэч и се рупя инима пентру фрателе сэу ши симця невоя сэ плынгэ; а интрат деграбэ ынтр-о одае ши а плынс аколо.
And Ioseph made haste (for his affection was inflamed towarde his brother, and sought where to weepe) and entred into his chamber, and wept there.
31 Дупэ че с-а спэлат пе фацэ, а ешит дин одае ши, силинду-се сэ се стэпыняскэ, а зис: „Адучець де мынкаре!”
Afterward he washed his face, and came out, and refrained himselfe, and sayd, Set on meate.
32 Ау адус де мынкаре луй Иосиф деопарте ши фрацилор луй деопарте; еӂиптенилор каре мынкау ку ел ле-ау адус, де асеменя, мынкаре деопарте, кэч еӂиптений ну путяу сэ мэнынче ку евреий, фииндкэ лукрул ачеста пентру ей есте о урычуне.
And they prepared for him by himselfe, and for them by themselues, and for the Egyptians, which did eate with him, by themselues, because the Egyptians might not eate bread with the Ebrewes: for that was an abomination vnto the Egyptians.
33 Фраций луй Иосиф с-ау ашезат ла масэ ын фаца луй: де ла ынтыюл нэскут, дупэ дрептул луй де ынтый нэскут, ши пынэ ла чел май тынэр, ашезаць дупэ вырстэ; ши се уйтау уний ла алций ку мираре.
So they sate before him: the eldest according vnto his age, and the yongest according vnto his youth. and the men marueiled among themselues.
34 Иосиф а пус сэ ле дя дин букателе каре ерау ынаинтя луй, яр Бениамин а кэпэтат де чинч орь май мулт декыт чейлалць. Ши ау бэут ши с-ау веселит ымпреунэ ку ел.
And they tooke meases from before him, and sent to them: but Beniamins mease was fiue times so much as any of theirs: and they drunke, and had of the best drinke with him.
