Matei 12
1 În timpul acela, Isus trecea în sabat prin lan; și discipolii lui erau flămânzi și au început să smulgă spice și să le mănânce.
In that season, went Jesus, on, the sabbath, through the cornfields, —and, his disciples, hungered, and began to pluck ears of corn, and to eat.
2 Dar când fariseii au văzut, i-au spus: Iată, discipolii tăi fac ce nu este legiuit să facă în sabat.
But, the Pharisees, observing it, said unto him, Lo! thy disciples, are doing what is not allowed to do, on sabbath.
3 Dar el le-a spus: Nu ați citit ce a făcut David, când a flămânzit el și cei ce erau cu el?
And he said unto them, have ye never read what, David, did, when he hungered, and they who were with him? how
4 Cum a intrat în casa lui Dumnezeu și a mâncat pâinile punerii înainte, ceea ce nu îi era legiuit să mănânce, nici celor ce erau cu el, decât numai preoților?
he entered into the house of God and, the presence-bread, did eat, which it was not, allowable, for him to eat, nor for them who were with him, —save for the priests, alone?
5 Sau nu ați citit în lege, că în sabate, preoții în templu pângăresc sabatul și sunt nevinovați?
Or have ye not read, in the law, that, on the sabbaths, the priests, in the temple, the sabbath, profane, and are, blameless?
6 Dar vă spun că aici este unul mai mare decât templul.
But I say unto you, —Something greater than the Temple, is here!
7 Dar dacă ați fi știut ce înseamnă: Milă voiesc și nu sacrificiu, nu ați fi condamnat pe cei nevinovați.
If, however, ye had known what this meaneth—Mercy, I desire, and not, sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the blameless;
8 Fiindcă Fiul omului este Domn și al sabatului.
For, the Son of Man, is, Lord of the Sabbath.
9 Și după ce a plecat de acolo, a intrat în sinagoga lor;
And, passing on from thence, he came into their synagogue;
10 Și iată, era un om care avea o mână uscată. Și l-au întrebat, spunând: Este legiuit a vindeca în sabate? Ca să îl acuze.
and lo! a man having, a withered hand, and they questioned him, saying, Is it allowable, on the sabbath, to heal? that they might accuse him.
11 Iar el le-a spus: Cine este acel om dintre voi care, dacă are o oaie și ea cade într-o groapă în sabat, să nu o apuce și să o ridice?
And said unto them, What man, from among yourselves, [shall there be], —Who shall have one sheep, and, if this should fall, on the sabbath, into a pit, will not lay hold of it, and raise it?
12 Cu cât mai de preț este atunci un om decât o oaie? De aceea este legiuit a face bine în sabate.
How much better, then, a man, than, a sheep? So that it is allowable, on the sabbath, nobly, to act.
13 Atunci i-a spus omului: Întinde-ți mâna. Iar el a întins-o și a fost refăcută complet, ca cealaltă.
Then saith he unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand! And he stretched it forth, —and it was restored, whole, as the other.
14 Atunci fariseii ieșind, au ținut sfat împotriva lui, cum să îl nimicească pe Isus.
And the Pharisees, going forth, took, counsel, against him, to the end that, him, they might destroy.
15 Dar Isus știind aceasta, a plecat de acolo; și mulțimi mari l-au urmat și i-a vindecat pe toți.
But, Jesus, taking note, retired from thence, —and many followed him, and he cured them all;
16 Și le-a poruncit să nu îl facă cunoscut;
and straitly charged them, lest they should make him, manifest:
17 Ca să se împlinească ce fusese spus prin Isaia, profetul, care zice:
that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: —
18 Iată, servitorul meu, pe care l-am ales; preaiubitul meu în care sufletul meu își găsește toată plăcerea; voi pune duhul meu peste el și va arăta judecată neamurilor.
Lo! my servant, whom I have chosen, My beloved, in whom, my soul, delighteth, —I will put my Spirit upon him, and, justice, unto the nations, will he report:
19 Nu se va certa, nici nu va striga; nici nu îi va auzi nimeni vocea pe străzi.
He will not strive, nor will he cry out, nor shall any hear, in the broadways, his voice:
20 Nu va rupe o trestie frântă și nu va stinge un fitil fumegând, până ce va trimite judecată pentru victorie.
A bruised cane, will he not break, and, a smoking wick, will he not quench, —until he urge on, justice, to victory,
21 Și în numele lui se vor încrede neamurile.
And, in his name, shall nations hope.
22 Atunci i-a fost adus unul posedat de un drac, orb și mut; și Isus l-a vindecat, așa că cel orb și mut, deopotrivă vorbea și vedea.
Then they brought unto him, one demonized, blind and dumb, —and he cured him, so that the dumb did speak and see.
23 Și toți oamenii erau uimiți și spuneau: Nu este acesta fiul lui David?
And all the multitudes were beside themselves, and were saying, Can, this one, be, the Son of David?
24 Dar fariseii auzind, au spus: Acesta nu scoate draci decât cu Beelzebub, prințul dracilor.
But, the Pharisees, hearing it, said, This one, doth not cast out the demons, save in Beelzebul ruler of the demons.
25 Și Isus, știind gândurile lor, le-a spus: Fiecare împărăție dezbinată împotriva ei însăși este pustiită; și fiecare cetate sau casă dezbinată împotriva ei însăși nu va sta în picioare.
And, knowing their inward thoughts, he said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself, is laid waste, —and, no city or house divided against itself, will stand;
26 Și dacă Satan scoate pe Satan, este dezbinat împotriva lui însuși; cum va sta așadar împărăția lui în picioare?
And, if, Satan, is casting, Satan, out, against himself, hath he become divided, —How then shall, his kingdom, stand?
27 Și dacă eu prin Beelzebub scot draci, copiii voștri prin cine îi scot? Din această cauză ei vor fi judecătorii voștri.
And, if, I, in Beelzebul, am casting out the demons, In whom are, your sons, casting them out? Wherefore, they, shall be, judges of you.
28 Dar dacă eu scot draci prin Duhul lui Dumnezeu, atunci împărăția lui Dumnezeu a ajuns la voi.
But, if, in God’s Spirit, I, am casting out the demons, then doubtless hath come upon you unawares, the kingdom of God!
29 Sau cum poate cineva să intre în casa celui tare și să îi jefuiască bunurile, decât dacă întâi îl leagă pe cel tare? Și după aceea îi va jefui casa.
Or how can one enter the house of the mighty and, seize his goods, unless, first, he bind the mighty one? and, then, his house, he will plunder.
30 Cel ce nu este cu mine, este împotriva mea; și cel ce nu adună cu mine, risipește.
He that is no with me, is, against me, —and, he that gathereth not with me, scattereth
31 Din această cauză vă spun: Orice păcat și orice blasfemie vor fi iertate oamenilor; dar blasfemia împotriva Duhului Sfânt nu va fi iertată oamenilor.
Wherefore, I say unto you, All sin and profane speaking, shall be forgiven unto men, —but, the speaking profanely of the Spirit, shall not be forgiven;
32 Și oricui vorbește un cuvânt împotriva Fiului omului, îi va fi iertat; dar oricui vorbește împotriva Duhului Sfânt, nu îi va fi iertat nici în această lume, nici în cea care vine. (aiōn g165)
And, whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him, —but, whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or the coming. (aiōn g165)
33 Ori faceți pomul bun și rodul lui bun, ori faceți pomul stricat și rodul lui stricat; fiindcă pomul se cunoaște după rodul lui.
Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree worthless, and its fruit worthless; for, from the fruit, the tree is known.
34 Pui de vipere, cum puteți spune lucruri bune, fiind răi? Fiindcă din abundența inimii vorbește gura.
Broods of vipers! How can ye speak, good things, being, evil? For, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.
35 Omul bun, din tezaurul bun al inimii scoate lucruri bune; iar omul rău, din tezaurul rău scoate lucruri rele.
The good man, out of the good treasure, putteth forth, good things; and, the evil man, out of the evil treasure, putteth forth, evil things.
36 Dar vă spun că: De fiecare cuvânt nefolositor pe care oamenii îl vor vorbi, vor da socoteală în ziua judecății.
But I say unto you, That, every useless expression that men shall utter, they shall render, concerning it, an account, in a day of judgment;
37 Fiindcă prin cuvintele tale vei fi declarat drept și prin cuvintele tale vei fi condamnat.
For, by thy words, shalt thou be, justified, and, by thy words, shalt thou be condemned.
38 Atunci unii dintre scribi și dintre farisei au răspuns, zicând: Învățătorule, voim să vedem un semn de la tine.
Then, answered him, certain of the Scribes and Pharisees, saying, Teacher! we desire of thee, a sign, to behold.
39 Dar răspunzând, le-a zis: O generație vicleană și adulteră caută un semn; și semn nu i se va da, decât semnul profetului Iona;
But, he, answering, said unto them, A wicked and adulterous generation, a sign, doth seek, and, a sign, will not be, given, it, save the sign of Jonah the prophet.
40 Fiindcă, așa cum Iona a fost trei zile și trei nopți în pântecele balenei, tot așa Fiul omului va fi trei zile și trei nopți în inima pământului.
For, just as was Jonah in the belly of the sea-monster three days and three nights, so, will be the Son of Man, in the heart of the earth, three days and three nights.
41 Bărbații din Ninive se vor scula la judecată cu această generație și o vor condamna, pentru că s-au pocăit la predicarea lui Iona; și iată, aici este unul mai mare decât Iona.
Men of Nineveh, will rise up in the judgment, with this generation, and will condemn it, —because they repented into the proclamation of Jonah; and lo! something greater than Jonah, here.
42 Împărăteasa sudului se va ridica la judecată cu această generație și o va condamna, pentru că a venit de la marginile pământului să audă înțelepciunea lui Solomon; și iată, aici este unul mai mare decât Solomon.
The queen of the south, will arise in the judgment with this generation and will condemn it—because she came out of the ends of the earth, to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and lo! something greater than Solomon, here.
43 Și, când duhul necurat iese dintr-un om, umblă prin locuri uscate căutând odihnă și nu găsește.
But, when the impure spirit goeth out of the man, it passeth through waterless places, seeking rest, —and findeth it not.
44 Atunci spune: Mă voi întoarce în casa mea de unde am ieșit; și când vine, o găsește goală, măturată și înfrumusețată.
Then, it saith, Into my house, will I return whence I came out, —and, coming, findeth it empty [and] swept and adorned.
45 Atunci se duce și ia cu sine alte șapte duhuri mai stricate decât el și intră și locuiesc acolo; și starea de pe urmă a acelui om devine mai rea decât cea dintâi. Chiar așa va fi și cu această generație stricată.
Then, it goeth, and taketh along with itself, seven diverse spirits, more wicked than itself, —and, entering, abideth there; and, the last state of that man, becometh, worse than the first. So, shall it be, with this, wicked, generation.
46 Pe când vorbea el încă oamenilor, iată, mama și frații lui stăteau afară în picioare, dorind să vorbească cu el.
While yet he was speaking unto the multitudes, lo! his mother and brethren, were standing without, seeking to speak with him.
47 Atunci cineva i-a spus: Iată, mama ta și frații tăi stau afară în picioare, dorind să vorbească cu tine.
[And one said to him, Lo! thy mother and thy brethren, without, are standing, seeking, to speak, with thee.]
48 Dar el a răspuns și a zis celui ce i-a vorbit: Cine este mama mea? Și cine sunt frații mei?
But, he, answering, said unto him that was telling him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 Și și-a întins mâna spre discipolii săi și a spus: Iată, mama mea și frații mei!
And, stretching forth his hand towards his disciples, he said, Lo! my mother and my brethren!
50 Fiindcă oricine va face voia Tatălui meu care este în cer, acesta este fratele meu și soră și mamă.
For, whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in the heavens, he, is my, brother, and sister, and mother.
