1 Și a intrat din nou în sinagogă; și acolo era un om care avea o mână uscată.
And he entered again into a synagogue, and there-was there, a man having, his hand, withered;
2 Și îl pândeau să vadă dacă îl va vindeca în sabat, ca să îl acuze.
and they were narrowly watching him, whether, on the Sabbath, he would cure him, that they might accuse him.
3 Iar el i-a spus omului care avea mâna uscată: Ridică-te și vino.
And he saith unto the man who hath his hand withered, Arise into the midst!
4 Și le-a spus: Este legiuit a face bine în sabate, sau a face rău? A salva viața, sau a ucide? Dar ei tăceau.
and saith unto them—Is it allowed, on the Sabbath, to do good, or to do evil? To, save, life, or, to slay? but they remained silent.
5 Și uitându-se împrejur la ei cu mânie, fiind mâhnit din cauza împietririi inimii lor, i-a spus omului: Întinde-ți mâna. Și el a întins-o; și mâna lui a fost refăcută complet, ca cealaltă.
And, looking round upon them with anger, being at the same time grieved on account of the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man—Stretch forth thy hand! and he stretched it forth, and his hand, was restored.
6 Și fariseii au ieșit și îndată au ținut sfat cu irodienii împotriva lui, cum să îl nimicească.
And, the Pharisees, going out straightway with the Herodians, were giving counsel against him, that they should, destroy, him.
7 Dar Isus s-a retras cu discipolii lui la mare; și o mare mulțime din Galileea l-a urmat și din Iudeea,
And, Jesus, with his disciples, retired unto the sea; and, a great throng from Galilee, followed, also from Judaea,
8 Și din Ierusalim și din Idumeea și de dincolo de Iordan; și cei din jurul Tirului și Sidonului, când au auzit ce lucruri mari făcea, o mare mulțime a venit la el.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and around Tyre and Zidon, a great throng, hearing whatsoever things he was doing, came unto him.
9 Și el a spus discipolilor săi ca o corabie mică să îl aștepte, din cauza mulțimii, ca nu cumva să îl îmbulzească.
And he spake unto his disciples that a little boat might attend him, because of the multitude, —that they might not be pressing upon him.
10 Fiindcă vindecase pe mulți; încât toți câți aveau boli îl înghesuiau ca să îl atingă.
For he cured many, so that they were besieging him, that they might touch him—as many as had plagues;
11 Și duhurile necurate, când îl vedeau, se prosternau înaintea lui și strigau, spunând: Tu ești Fiul lui Dumnezeu.
and the impure spirits, as soon as they beheld him, were falling down to him, and crying aloud, while he was speaking, Thou, art the Son of God!
12 Și le-a poruncit cu strictețe ca nu cumva să îl facă cunoscut.
and sternly was he rebuking them, lest they should make him manifest.
13 Și el a urcat pe un munte și a chemat la el pe cine a voit; și ei au venit la el.
And he goeth up into the mountain and calleth near whom, he, pleased, —and they went away unto him;
14 Și a rânduit doisprezece, ca să fie cu el și ca să îi trimită să predice,
and he appointed a twelve, whom also he named, Apostles, —that they might be with him, and that he might be sending them forth to make proclamation,
15 Și să aibă putere să vindece bolile și să scoată dracii;
and to have authority to cast out the demons;
16 Și lui Simon, i-a dat numele Petru;
and he appointed the twelve (and imposed a name on Simon—) Peter,
17 Și lui Iacov, al lui Zebedei, și lui Ioan, fratele lui Iacov; și le-a dat numele Boanerghes, adică Fiii Tunetului;
and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James (and imposed on them a name—Boanerges, that is, sons of thunder);
18 Și Andrei și Filip și Bartolomeu și Matei și Toma și Iacov al lui Alfeu și Tadeu și Simon Canaanitul,
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the zealot;
19 Și Iuda Iscariot, care l-a și trădat; și s-au dus într-o casă.
and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered him up. And he cometh into a house;
20 Și mulțimea s-a adunat din nou, așa încât ei nu mai puteau să mănânce nici pâine.
and the multitude come together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21 Și când au auzit prietenii săi, s-au dus să îl prindă; fiindcă spuneau: Și-a ieșit din minți.
And they who were near to him, hearing of it, went out to secure him, —for they were saying—He is beside himself!
22 Și scribii care au coborât din Ierusalim, spuneau: El îl are pe Beelzebub și prin prințul dracilor scoate dracii.
And, the Scribes who from Jerusalem had come down, were saying—He hath, Beelzebul; and—In the ruler of the demons, casteth he out the demons.
23 Dar el i-a chemat și le-a spus în parabole: Cum poate Satan să îl scoată afară pe Satan?
And, calling them near, in parables, began he to say unto them—How can, Satan, cast, Satan out?
24 Și dacă o împărăție este dezbinată împotriva ei însăși, acea împărăție nu poate sta în picioare.
And, if a kingdom against itself be divided, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
25 Și dacă o casă este dezbinată împotriva ei însăși, acea casă nu poate sta în picioare.
And, if a house against itself be divided, the house shall be unable to stand;
26 Și dacă Satan se ridică împotriva lui însuși și ar fi dezbinat, el nu poate sta în picioare, ci are un sfârșit.
And, if, Satan, hath risen up against himself, and become divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27 Nimeni nu poate intra în casa celui tare și să îi jefuiască bunurile, decât dacă întâi îl leagă pe cel tare și apoi îi va jefui casa.
But, no one is able into the house of the mighty one to enter, and, his spoils, to carry off, unless, first the mighty one, he bind, and, then his house, will he plunder!
28 Adevărat vă spun: Toate păcatele vor fi iertate fiilor oamenilor și blasfemiile cu care vor blasfemia;
Verily, I say unto you—All things shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, —the sins and the profanities wherewithal they shall profane;
30 Pentru că ei spuneau: Are un duh necurat.
because they were saying—An impure spirit, he hath!
31 Atunci au venit frații lui și mama lui, și, stând în picioare afară, au trimis la el să îl cheme.
And there come his mother and his brethren, and, standing, outside, they sent unto him, calling him.
32 Și mulțimea ședea în jurul lui și i-au spus: Iată, mama ta și frații tăi sunt afară, te caută.
And there was sitting around him a multitude, and they say unto him—Lo! thy mother and thy brethren, outside, are seeking thee!
33 Iar el le-a răspuns, zicând: Cine este mama mea, sau frații mei?
And, answering them, he saith—Who are my mother and my brethren?
34 Și s-a uitat împrejur la cei ce ședeau în jurul lui și a spus: Iată, mama mea și frații mei.
And, looking around on them who, about him, in a circle, were sitting, he saith, See! my mother and my brethren!
35 Fiindcă oricine va face voia lui Dumnezeu, acesta este fratele meu și sora mea și mamă.
Whosoever shall do the will of God, the same, is my brother and sister and mother.
