1 O rei Salomão foi rei sobre todo Israel.
So king Solomon was king over all Israel.
2 Estes eram os príncipes que ele tinha: Azarias, filho de Zadoque, o sacerdote;
And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,
3 Eliorefe e Ahijah, os filhos de Sísha, escribas; Jeosafá, filho de Ailude, o gravador;
Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.
4 Benaia, filho de Jehoiada, estava sobre o exército; Zadoque e Abiatar eram sacerdotes;
And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the army: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:
5 Azarias, filho de Natan, sobre os oficiais; Zabud, filho de Natan, era ministro chefe, amigo do rei;
And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king’s friend:
6 Ahishar, sobre a casa; e Adoniram, filho de Abda, sobre os homens sujeitos a trabalhos forçados.
And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the forced labour.
7 Salomão tinha doze oficiais em todo Israel, que forneciam alimentos para o rei e sua casa. Cada homem tinha que fazer provisões durante um mês do ano.
And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, who provided food for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.
8 Estes são seus nomes: Ben Hur, na região montanhosa de Efraim;
And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:
9 Ben Deker, em Makaz, em Shaalbim, Beth Shemesh e Elon Beth Hanan;
The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan:
10 Ben Hesed, em Arubboth (Socoh e toda a terra de Hepher lhe pertenciam);
The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:
11 Ben Abinadab, em toda a altura de Dor (ele tinha Taphath, a filha de Salomão, como esposa);
The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; who had Taphath the daughter of Solomon for a wife:
12 Baana, filho de Ahilud, em Taanach e Megiddo, e toda Beth Shean que está ao lado de Zarethan, abaixo de Jezreel, de Beth Shean a Abel Meholah, até mais além de Jokmeam;
Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even to the place that is beyond Jokneam:
13 Ben Geber, em Ramoth Gilead (as cidades de Jair, filho de Manasseh, que estão em Gilead, pertenciam a ele; e a região de Argob, que está em Bashan, sessenta grandes cidades com muros e barras de bronze, lhe pertenciam);
The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls and brasen bars:
14 Ahinadab, filho de Iddo, em Mahanaim;
Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:
15 Ahimaaz, em Naftali (também tomou Basemath, filha de Salomão, como esposa);
Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon for a wife:
16 Baana, filho de Hushai, em Asher e Bealoth;
Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:
17 Jehoshaphat o filho de Paruah, em Issachar;
Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:
18 Shimei o filho de Ela, em Benjamin;
Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:
19 Geber o filho de Uri, na terra de Gilead, o país de Sihon rei dos amorreus e de Og rei de Basã; e ele era o único oficial que estava na terra.
Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer who was in the land.
20 Judah e Israel eram numerosos como a areia que está à beira-mar em multidão, comendo, bebendo e alegrando.
Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
21 Solomon governou sobre todos os reinos desde o rio até a terra dos filisteus, e até a fronteira do Egito. Eles trouxeram tributo e serviram a Salomão todos os dias de sua vida. A provisão do
And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22 Solomon para um dia era de trinta coros de farinha fina, sessenta medidas de farinha,
And Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of meal,
23 ten cabeça de gado gordo, vinte cabeças de gado dos pastos e cem ovelhas, além de veados, gazelas, corços e galinhas engordadas.
Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, besides harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowls.
24 For ele tinha domínio sobre todos deste lado do rio, desde Tiphsah até Gaza, sobre todos os reis deste lado do rio; e ele tinha paz em todos os lados ao seu redor.
For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side of the river: and he had peace on all sides around him.
25 Judah e Israel vivia em segurança, cada homem sob sua videira e sob sua figueira, desde Dan até Beersheba, todos os dias de Salomão.
And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
26 Solomon tinha quarenta mil baias de cavalos para suas carruagens, e doze mil cavaleiros.
And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
27 Those os oficiais forneciam comida para o rei Salomão, e para todos os que vinham à mesa do rei Salomão, cada homem em seu mês. Eles não deixaram faltar nada.
And those officers provided food for king Solomon, and for all that came to king Solomon’s table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.
28 They também trouxe cevada e palha para os cavalos e corcéis velozes para o lugar onde estavam os oficiais, cada homem de acordo com seu dever.
Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries they brought to the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.
29 God deu a Salomão abundante sabedoria, compreensão e amplitude de espírito como a areia que está à beira-mar. A sabedoria do
And God gave Solomon great wisdom and understanding, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.
30 Solomon superou a sabedoria de todas as crianças do oriente e toda a sabedoria do Egito.
And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
31 For ele era mais sábio do que todos os homens - mais sábio do que Ethan, o Ezraíta, Heman, Calcol e Darda, os filhos de Mahol; e sua fama estava em todas as nações ao redor.
For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.
32 He falava três mil provérbios, e suas canções eram de mil e cinco.
And he spoke three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.
33 He falava de árvores, desde o cedro que está no Líbano até o hissopo que cresce fora do muro; ele também falava de animais, de pássaros, de coisas rastejantes e de peixes.
And he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even to the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spoke also of beasts, and of fowls, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
34 People de todas as nações veio para ouvir a sabedoria de Salomão, enviada por todos os reis da terra que tinham ouvido falar de sua sabedoria.
And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.
