Josué 13
1 Era, porém, Josué já velho, entrado em dias; e disse-lhe o Senhor: Já estás velho, entrado em dias; e ainda muitíssima terra ficou para possuir.
Nowe when Ioshua was olde, and striken in yeeres, the Lord said vnto him, Thou art olde and growen in age, and there remaineth exceeding much land to be possessed:
2 A terra que fica de resto é esta: todos os termos dos philisteus, e toda a Gesuri;
This is the land that remaineth, all the regions of the Philistims, and all Geshuri,
3 Desde Sihor, que está defronte do Egito, até ao termo de Ekron para o norte, que se conta ser dos cananeus: cinco príncipes dos philisteus, o gazeu, e o asdodeu, o ascalonita, o getheu, e o ekroneu, e os aveus;
From Nilus which is in Egypt, euen vnto the borders of Ekron Northward: this is counted of the Canaanites, euen fiue Lordships of the Philistims, the Azzithites, and the Ashdodites, the Eshkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, and the Auites:
4 Desde o sul, toda a terra dos cananeus, e Meara, que é dos sidôneos; até Aphek: até ao termo dos amorreus;
From the South, all the land of the Canaanites, and the caue that is beside the Sidonians, vnto Aphek, and to the borders of the Amorites:
5 Como também a terra dos gibleus, e todo o líbano para o nascente do sol, desde Baal-gad, ao pé do monte Hermon, até à entrada de Hamath;
And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunne rising from Bahal-gad vnder mount Hermon, vntil one come to Hamath.
6 Todos os que habitam nas montanhas desde o líbano até Misrephoth-main, todos os sidôneos; eu os lançarei de diante dos filhos de Israel: tão somente faze que a terra caia a Israel em sorte por herança, como já to tenho mandado.
All the inhabitants of the mountaines from Lebanon vnto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, I wil cast them out from before the children of Israel: only deuide thou it by lot vnto the Israelites, to inherite, as I haue commanded thee.
7 Reparte pois agora esta terra por herança às nove tribos e à meia tribo de Manasseh;
Nowe therefore deuide this lande to inherite, vnto the nine tribes, and to the halfe tribe of Manasseh.
8 Com quem os rubenitas e os gaditas já receberam a sua herança; a qual lhes deu Moisés de além do Jordão para o oriente; como já lhes tinha dado Moisés, servo do Senhor,
For with halfe therof the Reubenites and the Gadites haue receiued their inheritance, which Moses gaue them beyond Iorden Eastward, euen as Moses the seruant of the Lord had giuen them,
9 Desde Aroer, que está à borda do ribeiro de Arnon, e a cidade que está no meio do vale, e toda a campina de Medeba até Dibon;
From Aroer that is on the brinke of the riuer Arnon, and from the citie that is in the mids of the riuer, and all the plaine of Medeba vnto Dibon,
10 E todas as cidades de Sehon, rei dos amorreus, que reinou em Hesbon, até ao termo dos filhos de Ammon;
And all the cities of Sihon King of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, vnto the borders of the children of Ammon,
11 E Gilead, e o termo dos gesureus, e dos maacateus, e todo o monte Hermon, e toda a Basan até Salcha:
And Gilead, and the borders of the Geshurites and of the Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, with all Bashan vnto Salcah:
12 Todo o reino de Og em Basan, que reinou em Astaroth e em Edrei; este ficou do resto dos gigantes que Moisés feriu e expeliu.
All the kingdome of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei: (who remained of the rest of the gyants) for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.
13 Porém os filhos de Israel não expeliram os gesureus, nem os maacateus; antes Gesur e Maacath habitaram no meio de Israel até ao dia de hoje.
But the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites euen vnto this day.
14 Tão somente à tribo de Levi não deu herança: os sacrifícios queimados do Senhor Deus de Israel são a sua herança, como já lhe tinha dito.
Onely vnto the tribe of Leui he gaue none inheritance, but the sacrifices of the Lord God of Israel are his inheritance, as he said vnto him.
15 Assim Moisés deu à tribo dos filhos de Ruben, conforme as suas famílias.
Moses then gaue vnto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance, according to their families.
16 E foi o seu termo desde Aroer, que está à borda do ribeiro de Arnon, e a cidade que está no meio do vale, e toda a campina até Medeba;
And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the brinke of the riuer Arnon, and from the citie that is in the middes of the riuer, and all the plaine which is by Medeba:
17 Hesbon e todas as suas cidades, que estão na campina: Dibon, e Bamoth-baal, e Beth-baal-meon;
Heshbon with all the cities thereof, that are in the plaine: Dibon and Bamoth-baal, and Bethbaal-meon:
18 E Jahsa, e Kedemoth, e Mephaat;
And Iahazah, and Kedemoth and Mephaath:
19 E Kiriathaim, e Sibma, e Zereth, e Hassahar, no monte do vale;
Kiriathaim also, and Sibmah, and Zerethshahar in the mount of Emek:
20 E Beth-peor, e Asdoth-pisga, e Beth-jesimoth;
And Beth-peor, and Ashdoth-pisgah, and Beth-ieshimoth:
21 E todas as cidades da campina, e todo o reino de Sehon, rei dos amorreus, que reinou em Hesbon, a quem Moisés feriu, como também aos príncipes de Midian, Evi, e Rekem, e Sur, e Hur, e Reba, príncipes de Sehon, moradores da terra.
And all the cities of the plaine: and all the kingdome of Sihon King of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whome Moses smote with the Princes of Midian, Eui, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the countrey.
22 Também os filhos de Israel mataram à espada a Balaão, filho de Beor, o adivinho, como os mais que por eles foram mortos.
And Balaam the sonne of Beor the soothsayer did the children of Israel slay with the sword, among them that were slaine.
23 E foi o termo dos filhos de Ruben o Jordão e o seu termo; esta é a herança dos filhos de Ruben, segundo as suas famílias, as cidades, e as suas aldeias.
And the border of the children of Reuben was Iorden with the coastes. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, with the cities and their villages.
24 E deu Moisés à tribo de Gad, aos filhos de Gad, segundo as suas famílias.
Also Moses gaue inheritance vnto ye tribe of Gad, euen vnto the children of Gad according to their families.
25 E foi o seu termo Jaezer, e todas as cidades de Gilead, e metade da terra dos filhos de Ammon, até Aroer, que está defronte de Rabba;
And their coastes were Iazer, and all the cities of Gilead and halfe the lande of the children of Ammon vnto Aroer, which is before Rabbah:
26 E desde Hesbon até Ramath-mispe, e Bethonim: e desde Mahanaim até ao termo de Debir;
And from Heshbon vnto Ramoth, Mizpeh, and Betonim: and from Mahanaim vnto the borders of Debir:
27 E no vale Beth-aram, e Beth-nimra, e Succoth, e Saphon, que ficara do resto do reino do rei de Sehon em Hesbon, o Jordão e o seu termo, até à extremidade do mar de Cinnereth de além do Jordão para o oriente.
And in the valley Beth-aram, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdome of Sihon King of Heshbon, vnto Iorden and the borders euen vnto the Sea coast of Cinneereth, beyond Iorden Eastward.
28 Esta é a herança dos filhos de Gad, segundo as suas famílias, as cidades e as suas aldeias.
This is the inheritance of the children of Gad, after their families, with the cities, and their villages.
29 Deu também Moisés herança à meia tribo de Manasseh, que ficou à meia tribo dos filhos de Manasseh, segundo as suas famílias,
Also Moses gaue inheritance vnto the halfe tribe of Manasseh: and this belonged to the halfe tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.
30 De maneira que o seu termo foi desde Mahanaim, todo o Basan, todo o reino de Og, rei de Basan, e todas as aldeias de Jair, que estão em Basan, sessenta cidades,
And their border was from Mahanaim, euen all Bashan, to wit, all the kingdome of Og King of Bashan, and all the townes of Iair which are in Bashan, threescore cities,
31 E metade de Gilead, e Astaroth, e Edrei, cidades do reino de Og, em Basan, aos filhos de Machir, filho de Manasseh, a saber, à metade dos filhos de Machir, segundo as suas famílias.
And halfe Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were giuen vnto the children of Machir the sonne of Manasseh, to halfe of the children of Machir after their families.
32 Isto é o que Moisés repartiu em herança nas campinas de Moab, de além do Jordão de Jericó para o oriente.
These are the heritages, which Moses did distribute in the plaine of Moab beyond Iorden, toward Iericho Eastward.
33 Porém à tribo de Levi Moisés não deu herança: o Senhor Deus de Israel é a sua herança, como já lhe tinha dito.
But vnto the tribe of Leui Moses gaue none inheritance: for the Lord God of Israel is their inheritance, as he said vnto them.
