< Psalm 32 >
1 MEID pai, me dip arail lapwadar, o me ar sapung pwaipwaidier!
“Of David: a Maskil.” Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 Aramas meid pai, me Ieowa solar pan kapokoki ong dip ar, me sota likam nan mongiong ar.
Happy is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3 Pwe ni ai men okila, kokon ai kan ap susueda kilar ai sangesang ran karos.
When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my crying all the day.
4 Pwe lim omui katoutou ia nin ran o ni pong, o ai kelail mongedier, dueta ni ansau en karakar. (Sela)
For by day and night lay thy hand heavily upon me: my [life's] moisture hath been changed through the droughts of summer. (Selah)
5 I me i weokadang komui dip ai kan, o sota okila ai sapung kan. Ngai indinda: I pan weokadang Ieowa ai katiwo kan; komui ap kotin maki ong ia sued en dip ai. (Sela)
My sin do I ever acknowledge unto thee, and my iniquity have I not covered up. I said, I will make confession because of my transgressions unto the Lord: and thou truly forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
6 I me saraui kan karos pan potoan kapakap ong komui arain ansau me komui kak diarokada. Lapake kalaimun pan wiaui, a a sota pan lel ong ir.
For this shall every pious one pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely [then] when great waters overflow, they shall never reach unto him.
7 Komui me pere pa i, kom pan kotin perawei sang ia men kamasak, i ap pan dorela o kapinga ni peren. (Sela)
Thou art my hiding-place; from distress wilt thou preserve me; with songs of deliverance wilt thou encompass me. (Selah)
8 I pan padaki ong uk o kasale ong uk al o, me koe en weweid ia; I pan kalua kin uk por en mas ai.
I will instruct thee and I will teach thee concerning the way which thou oughtest to go: I will counsel thee with my eye.
9 Komail der dueta os de as amen me sota ar madamadaua, me mau ong, kisin mata en ko ong au arail, a ma so, re sota pan duki ong uk.
Be ye not like the horse, or like the mule, who hath no understanding; who must be held in with bit and bridle, his ornament, lest he come near unto thee.
10 Me sapung o kin lodi ong song en madak toto, a me kaporoporeki Ieowa, kalangan en Ieowa pan kapil pena i.
Many are the pains of the wicked; but him that trusteth in the Lord will he encompass with kindness.
11 Polauleki Ieowa, o pereperen komail me pung kan, o kapikapinga komail karos me lelapok melel akan.
Rejoice in the Lord, and be glad, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
